Abstract

A microstrip antenna is an antenna consisting of very thin radiation elements (conductors) placed in a ground plane, where the patch and ground plane are separated by a substrate. Microstrip antennas have many beneficial properties such as low cost, ease of modeling and fabrication and are able to provide better performance. This is very suitable for data communication devices via wireless LAN that continue to increase. Wireless LAN technology recommended by IEEE 802.11. in this study the antenna that will be designed is a microstrip patch square antenna with E-Shaped technique. The type of substrate used is FR4-Epoxy. The application used to design microstrip antennas is Ansoft HFSS 13.0. The antenna is designed to work at a 2.4 GHz frequency, with a patch dimension of 29 mm. from the simulation results obtained a gain value of 5.53 dB. While the VSWR value is obtained at 1.2. Return loss value is obtained at -20.80 dB. In the field measurement results, WirelessMon software is used, where the signal amplification without using an antenna at a distance of> 50 m of the amplified signal is not detected, while using the antenna signal gain is -83 dBm.

Abstract

Customary Riau Islands are becoming increasingly forgotten by children and teenagers today, they are only busy with gadgets and social media. With this game, we can get to know Riau customs such as special food, tourist attractions, or dance. The author is interested in making this because the bot that is used is run on the social media line, where social media is very crowded by the public. This bot uses web hosting to make it easy and not slow, using the MySQL database for storing questions and answers, the programming language used is PHP. And the method of webhooks is a method to make a callback from a website to an application in real time. The results of this study are in the form of a Game Bot account that can be used by people by opening a Bot account chat or by adding this Bot account to a chat group.

Abstract

Cadangan minyak bumi menipis,  diperlukan efisiensi penggunaan produk minyak bumi. Substitusi bahan bakar yang bisa digunakan adalah etanol. Motor dimodifikasi agar penggunaan etanol sebagai pengganti bensin dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji  Laju Konsumsi Bahan Bakar,BSFC dan emisi gas buang dengan perubahan kapasitas mesin dan penggunaan 2 busi. Metode penelitian ini adalah memodifikasi kapasitas mesin dari 113,7 cc menjadi 100,45 cc dan menggunakan 2 busi. Pengujian laju konsumsi bahan bakar, BSFC dan emisi gas buang hasill modifikasi bahan bakar etanol 95% dengan menguji konsumsi bahan bakar dan mesin gas analyzer, untuk untuk mendapatkan nilai laju konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi gas buang terutama gas beracun CO dan HC.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan mesin dengan kapasitas sama 113,7 cc dengan bahan bakar etanol 95% dan pertalite adalah laju konsumsi rata-rata naik 11,3 %, BSFC rata-rata naik 66,24%, Konsentrasi CO rata-rata mengalami penurunan 33,29% , Konsentrasi HC rata-rata mengalami kenaikan 9.34%.

Abstract

The reliability of the electric power distribution system can be seen from the SAIDI number (System Average Interruption Duration Index) or long extinguished in one period and SAIFI (Sytem Average Interruption Frequency Index) or outages in one period. PT PLN (Persero) Balikpapan Area is currently trying to improve service used reliability improvement methods, namely by maneuvering the radial system network load into a loop system network and installing reclosers. Penyulang Industri 5 (I.5) for 2017 has SAIDI realization value of 7.741 hours / year, and SAIFI is 5.03 times / year. It can be interpreted that SAIDI-SAIFI 5 industrial feeders are relatively few of the value of the revised targets. This shows that industrial feeder 5 has a high level of reliability. But it still does not meet the IEEE Std standard. 1366-2000 with a SAIDI score of 2.30 hours / year and a SAIFI value of 1.45 times / year. After the improvement is obtained the value of SAIDI is almost close to the IEEE Std standard value. 1366-2000 which is 2,365 hours / year.Keywords : Reliability, SAIDI/SAIFI, Load Manuver, Recloser.

Abstract

Pencarian koleksi-koleksi yang ada di perpustakaan merupakan salah satu aktivitas yang diperlukan setiap anggota perpustakaan selain proses peminjaman dan pengembalian. Perpustakaan STMIK Amik Riau memiliki 7.502 item koleksi, yang terdiri dari 4.110 judul. Koleksi perpustakaan dibagi menjadi 5 (lima) kelompok, yaitu 7.192 unit Textbook, 241 unit Reference, 27 unit Modul Praktikum, 26 unit Bahan Ajar, dan 16 unit Buku Digital. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan pimpinan perpustakaan, ditemukan kendala bahwa sistem informasi pencarian yang ada saat ini tidak dapat memenuhi keinginan anggota perpustakaan. Pada umumnya setiap anggota ingin menemukan referensi berdasarkan topik, namun sistem informasi yang ada masih melakukan pencocokan kata kunci berdasarkan Judul buku, penulis, ataupun penerbit, sehingga sistem tidak dapat memberikan hasil yang diinginkan. Komposisi Relasi merupakan materi pembelajaran yang terdapat pada matakuliah Matematika Diskrit, yang memiliki fungsi untuk menemukan elemen-elemen yang saling berelasi pada beberapa himpunan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka Komposisi Relasi dianggap tepat sebaga teknik pencarian koleksi-koleksi perpustakaan yang saling berkaitan berdasarkan topik yang diinginkan. Kelompok koleksi dianggap sebagai suatu himpunan, dan setiap item koleksi sebagai elemen himpunan. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa Komposisi Relasi mampu menjadi solusi untuk memperlihatkan keterkaitan antar koleksi berdasarkan deskripsi yang dibahas secar bersama.

Abstract

On the distribution network, there are some problems. The problem is losses, contingency. Contingencies and losses can be solved with network reconfiguration. In this research, the reconfiguration of the distribution network is done by Binary Integer Programming (BIP) method. This network reconfiguration is done on Surabaya's 20 kV distribution system. From the simulation results, reconfiguration can solve the problems caused by contingency appropriately and optimally. With the implementation of this system, losses and financial losses can be minimized and system reliability can be improved.

Abstract

Training kit an important role as a equipment for creating effective teaching and learning process.Training kit of reciprocating compressor is expected to facilitate students in understanding the theory and practice subjects related to the compressor. Compressor is a machine to increase air pressure by compressing air from the atmosphere. In simple terms the working principle, pressure and volume changes in a reciprocating compressor can be described in the form of a P-V diagram. The purpose of this study is to generate instructional media so that it understood the working principle and tested on reciprocating compressor one stage and two stages. The research method begins with the design of tools that are simulated visually through solidwork software, component preparation, assembly of learning media and equipments testing. The resulting frame is 1100 mm long, 600 mm wide and 800 mm high. The v-belt type is used according to the v-belt length of 41 inches for the one-level and 53-inch compressors for the two-level compressor. The diameter of the driven pulley also affects the rotation of the compressor shaft (N), the greater the diameter of the pulley then the shaft rotation also decreases. In addition to the rotation difference of the compressor shaft (N) which affects the piston displacement value, the number of piston also affects the Qth value. The reservoir used was 38 liters and was tested for 8 minutes. At a two stages compressor, the resulting pressure is higher at 7.4 bar and on the compressor one pressure level is generated at 7.2 bar. The value of piston displacement (Qth) is 7.188 x 10-2 m3 / min for one level compressor and 8,115x10-2 m3 /min for two level compressor.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the reliability and factors that influence the reliability of HD 465-7R units at the Badiwata Site of PT. Sumber Mitra Jaya. This study utilized field observation methods, document analysis from Historical Units, Monthly Physical Availability Heavy Equipment Reports, Key Performance Indicators and interviews. Data was processed using nonprobability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. Furthermore, it was analyzed by grouping data based on variables, classifying data types, tabulating data, presenting data and performing reliability calculations. To analyze quantitative data, descriptive statistics was used. Reliability measures include calculation of Mean Time To Repair (MTTF) and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). Data was presented in form of tables, histograms and pareto diagrams. It showed the reliability of the HD465-7R unit decreased every month. It was recorded 84% in August, 80% in September, and 75% in October.  Factors which influenced the reliability of the HD465-7R unit included the frequency of damage to tire, brake, accident and electrical problems.

Abstract

Sikap kerja yang tidak ergonomis, dapat menimbulkan kelelahan serta dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengukur apakah kondisi kerja pekerja pengolah kerupuk ikan dapat menimbulkan potensi kelelahan, apakah dimensi mesin pengolah kerupuk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kelelahan pekerja, apakah layout stasiun kerja mempengaruhi tingkat kelelehan pekerja. Model rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan eksperimental treatment by subject design. Pengumpulan data keluhan muskuloskeletal dan tingkat kelelahan dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner dengan 20 item pertanyaan kepada 15 responden. Dari hasil pengolahan di dapat bahwa Kondisi lingkungan tidak memberikan pengaruh bagi kondisi pekerja dalam bekerja mengolah kerupuk (Suhu ruangan +/- 26 0C).  Terdapat keluhan musculoskeletal pada operator dalam kegiatan pengolahan kerupuk dimana analisa dilakukan dengan uji t-paired statistic dengan hasil t-Stat < t hitung (-9,51 < 2.144). Dari hasil uji statistic, didapat ada pengaruh signifikan antara layout stasiun kerja dengan kelelahan pekerja, 0.00033 < 0.05. Selain itu, tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara ergonomi dimensi mesin dengan kelelahan pekerja, 0.107 > 0.05.
