Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a four-tier diagnostic test instrument on electron configurations and quantum numbers that can be used to analyze misconceptions. The four-level diagnostic test instrument is an assessment instrument that functions to assess students' conceptual comprehension  in understanding a subject matter. The four tier test has four levels, namely knowledge questions, confidence questions in completing questions, reasons for answering questions, and confidence in giving reasons. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with the stages of analyzing the problem, collecting data, product design, validating the design, and conducting instrument trials. The results showed that the designed diagnostic instruments were feasible and reliable. Instrument test results indicate that indicator a) determines the magnitude of the four quantum numbers (n,ℓ,mℓ, ms) in an orbital; b) identify the characteristics and functions of the azimuth quantum number (ℓ); c) determine the spin magnetic quantum number (ms) of the electron in the orbital; and d) determine the spin magnetic quantum number (ms) of a single electron in an orbital, which is the most misunderstood.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the provisions in the process of accepting students with disabilities in inclusive schools. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Interviews were conducted with special supervising teachers, counseling teachers, and parents of students with disabilities. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman technique includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the research show that there are different terms or conditions in the process of accepting students with disabilities in inclusive schools. Therefore, inclusive schools should take in account differences in terms or requirements in the acceptance of students with disabilities.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence – Machine Learning has great potential to help the development of education in Indonesia. So, it is important to map the research that has been done, whereas it can be a strategy to explore the use of Machine Learning for efficient the development of education. This research was conducted to determine the development of publications through article content, authorship patterns, and author productivity. The method used is descriptive bibliometric analysis, data source from the Scopus indexer, while data collection is carried out with Publish or Perish software and Vos Viewer as bibliometric analysis media. The following research findings: (i) Articles about Machine Learning in Indonesia are spread in various journals. And showing significant improvements with various new themes, the fields that most often appear are those related to computer science or Machine Learning development processes. (ii) In general, in 2009-2021 as many as 446 researchers produced 533 articles. The most research publications in 2020, namely 161 articles (30.1%). And related to the field of education there are only 14 articles (2.6%). (iii) The Keywords related to popular fields/subjects are Indonesian, development, prediction, approach, international conference. While keywords related to education produce higher education, education technology, smart educational robots and engineering education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the problems and solutions to problems when implementing IKM, especially in the Indonesian language subject, which is one of the mandatory subjects that must be mastered by students in Indonesia. This research is in the form of descriptive qualitative research with data collection methods in the form of interviews, documentation, and simple random sampling techniques. From the research that has been done, it concludes that the problems experienced are related to technical problems in implementing the curriculum due to a lack of preparation with this new curriculum change, such as the absence of definite textbooks, being stuck with the previous curriculum, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure such as Wi-Fi networks that is not the stable and inadequate number of projectors. While the solutions that can be implemented are less effective and only temporary solutions if applied in the long term, so they require more mature preparation for the future.

Abstract

Learning History is an important and strategic lesson. In its implementation, many problems occur. Utilization of historical learning resources is one of the innovations and updates to address the problems that occur. Learning History is also strengthened by the many potential historical sites that have not been utilized, such as sites on the slopes of Mount Arjuna. The method used in this research is to use literature to analyze the urgency of outdoor learning and to explain the sites studied using historical research methods namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. This study describes and provides examples of how historical sites on the slopes of Mount Arjuna are utilized. Considering that there are several historical sites on the slope, it can be used as a learning resource for field activities or outdoor learning. The scheme of studying the utilization of Mount Arjuna's slope site consists of three stages, namely introduction (orientation), core (exploration) and closing (evaluation).

Abstract

Curriculum organization has an important role in facilitating students to learn subject matter, thereby achieving effective learning objectives. Curriculum organization, i.e. the pattern or form of learning materials compiled and delivered to students which is a very important basis in curriculum development and is closely related to the goals of the educational program to be achieved, because the form of the curriculum also determines the learning materials, their sequence and how to present them to students/learners. This study uses the method of library research (library research) which takes data sources from relevant theories. The data sources in this study are the subject of valid and relevant data using primary data collection techniques with updated and online documentation, as well as supporting or secondary data by seeking the latest sources, whether in the form of books, articles, or websites. The results of this study are a discussion of the concept of curriculum organization, principles of curriculum organization, vertical curriculum organization, and horizontal curriculum organization.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain detail information about best practices for strengthening students' Pancasila profiles with the theme of entrepreneurship with the sub-theme of building a creative and innovative culinary entrepreneurial spirit in youth. Through this project, students are expected to be able to develop and achieve specifically the three dimensions of the students' Pancasila profile, namely independence, creativity and cooperation. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study strategy. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Tangerang Selatan from September to December 2022. Research data was obtained through observation, documentation and interviews. The research subjects were teachers as project facilitators and coordinators, as well as class X students for the 2022/2023 academic year. The project activity on the theme of entrepreneurship is carried out in five stages of the planning flow. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the project activities on the theme of entrepreneurship which were carried out at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Tangerang Selatan went well. Students get some benefits from project activities and can achieve goals in accordance with the character of the students' Pancasila profile, namely independent, creative and cooperative.
