Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is one of academic activities that must be carried out by students of Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) in completing their studies. The purpose of this activity is to synchronize between campus academic education with students' mastery of hard skills and soft skills in the form of direct interaction with community and working worldIn order to do PKL, procedure is divided into 3 phases, namely registration, implementation, and reporting. In implementing the PKL procedure, there are several problems faced. From students' perspective, the problems include too many physical forms that must be handled and a quite long path of submitting PKL. The PKL's lecturer supervisors problem was during the supervision process of his student. While the problem of academic staff is make sure whether the PKL has held according to the procedures. Based on the problem discussed, this research is held to develop the system that can facilitate the implementation of PKL procedures in order to provide simplicity during the process. In requirement engineering process, there were 59 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement obtained. Then do the preparation and implementation phases. This system is implemented into a web-based application that is built using the programming languages ​​PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript by using the Laravel framework. This system has been tested with unit, integration and validation testing with 100% valid results for all tests, and compatibility testing with the results of the system can run on 5 different test browsers.

Abstract

The type of arrhythmia can indicate the location of the disorder and its causes. The way to identify the arrhythmia is to use an electrocardiogram (ECG) strip. Machine learning can be used as an approach to assist identification of arrhythmias through an ECG. Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) is one single-hidden layer feedforward neural networks (SLFNs) that can be used for the classification of arrhythmias in order to assist medical diagnosis. To optimize ELM performance, Fast Independent Component Analysis (FastICA) algorithm is used for preprocessing and extracting ECG signals. In this study, several parameter tests were conducted to determine the impact on the performance of the classification model. ECG data obtained from the arrhythmia database managed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Beth Israel Hospital (MIT-BIH). Each data is a 3 seconds ECG snippet with total of 210 data divided into 6 arrhythmia classes and normal rhythms. The results showed that the classification model was able to achieve perfect performance with accuracy, precision-recall, and F-1 score of 100% at the training stage. However, the classification model was experiencing overfitting at the testing stage with the mean of matthew correlation coefficient is approximately 0. Overfitting occured because the feature representation is too complex and not proportional to the amount of available data. This resulted in poor performance in the ELM-FastICA test for data that was not yet recognized.

Abstract

Traveloka is an e-commerce company that operates in the field of hotel reservations and tickets online. In 2018 Traveloka was able to win the Top Brand Award as the first choice of users as an airline ticket reservation, travel and hotel site. However, the various features offered by Traveloka are still not able to provide convenience to its users. Various user complaints can be seen in the Google Playstore, such as the Traveloka application, there are still frequent errors, difficulties in returning funds, failure of transactions, and various other complaints. Analysis of the quality of Traveloka services is a research objective to find out the loyalty of its users. The variables used were e-recovery service quality, e-service quality, loyalty intentions, and perceived value. The sample of this study was 105 users of Traveloka application using non probability sampling as the method and purposive sampling technique in Traveloka application users who had transacted on tickets and hotels. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire. Multiple linear regression is used to determine the relationship between variables in the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that e-recovery service quality and e-service quality do not have a significant effect on loyalty intentions through perceived value. E-recovery quality and e-service quality have a significant effect on perceived value. E-recovery service quality, e-service quality and perceived value independently significantly influence loyalty intentions.

Abstract

There are several problems on thesis scheduling in Informatics Engineering Study Program Faculty of Computer and Science Brawijaya University that makes thesis scheduling ineffective. Significant differences in the number of students and lecturers in 2017 as well as thesis trial registration in the adjacent time is often a problem in scheduling thesis hearings. Ineffective scheduling will take a long time. Therefore, need a system that can be made using a distributed genetic algorithm method to do thesis trial scheduling. The first step in system is randomize chromosomes and then the population will be divided into several subpopulations, and will go through the reproductive stage, then through evaluation to calculate the fitness value. Selection process will be selected for the next generation. In the distributed genetic algorithm a migration process will be carried out to increase the diversity of individuals by exchanging individuals from one subpopulation to another. Based on the test, the optimal parameter value in the thesis trial scheduling is 11 populations, 1750 generations, the crossover rate is 0.7 mutation rate 0.3 and sub-populations with an average fitness value of 0.00010232. From the results of the test, if there is more population and generation, the wider and bigger the search area for the solution will be, but a cost of a longer computing time.

Abstract

Suluh Jakarta High School is a private school under the auspices of the Horticulture Foundation with one of its subdivisions namely BK. BK has a role to recapitulate student attendance data, the results of recapitulation are used to monitor the percentage of student attendance. In managing the presence of students the school has not utilized technology to the fullest. Every week BK needs to recapitulate data on the attendance of students. In addition, data is not always available when needed and data is not mutually integrated. To overcome these problems, we need a technology that can help manage student attendance data, namely information systems. The information system developed can help stakeholders not need to do the recording of student attendance data because the data entered into the system will be stored and recorded automatically. The stored data will also be integrated with the data entered by the picket teacher so that data can continue to be updated. The method used to develop a Student Attendance Information System uses the waterfall model with the steps taken, namely requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. In order to be accessible in various places, the system developed is web-based. The results of validation testing on Student Attendance Information System obtained valid results and compatibility testing contained critical issues in the system security section in the Chrome browser and Firefox due to the use of HTTP protocol.

Abstract

The search pattern is one of the ways that you can use to specify the search in the form of recommendations suggest that appears on the internet user's browser, by looking at how often the Web sites visited by the users simultaneously other Internet. Research on the hidden patterns that are found in the database into a field that is in great demand these days. In the hidden pattern, there is some useful information. Large-scale data will have difficulty when analyzed with simple data analysis so that it takes a special technique to be able to analyze large scale data, i.e. data mining. The results of the analysis will result in a sistem that would later figure out patterns of internet users accessing a website from the results of analysis of the association between websites that are frequently opened simultaneously, after knowing the pattern It then can be used as a recommendation sistem search. So, in this study using a sales transaction data to determine patterns of sales by using Association Rule algorithm and Modified-a priori from data mining. Association Rule is a method for finding interesting relationships hidden in data by using the calculation of the value of the support and confidence. Algortime Modified-a priori is the development of the a priori algorithms searching frequent itemset with joining processes (join) and pruning (prune) and produce a faster time efficiency using hash compared with the a priori algorithms. The technique used is the hash with the hash map. The data used in this research is the internet user search data retrieved from history browser internet users as much as 20 users with the number of transactions by as much as 300 transactions. The results of this research have the minimum value of the highest support i.e. 34.11% and generates the rule amounted to 2. Minimum confidence highest i.e. 80.00% and generates the rule amounted to 3. The length of the itemset that is formed are 2-and 3-itemset. Obtained as a rule that has a lift ratio of more than 1.

Abstract

Malang Menyapa is a mobile application released by Malang City Culture and Tourism Service in order to develop the cultural and tourism potential of Malang City. This application has seven main features, including Destination, Shopping, Hotel, Food, Souvenir, Travel and Entertainment. Malang Menyapa mobile application has been downloaded 5 thousand times and the rating is 4.3. But users think that the application has problems, for example the user interface is less attractive, font and content design are deemed inappropriate. Another problem related to maps that only displays the destination without displaying distances and routes. There is no search coloumn, the layout are messy and confusing. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate usability and explore the problems found in the Malang Menyapa mobile application. The method is usability testing and USE Questionnaire. There are two tests in this study, initial test and final test after improvement recommendations. Based on testing, the result are usability value for initial testing is 60.27% with SUFFICIENT predicate. And the final test produced 73.68% with GOOD predicate.

Abstract

A notary is an approved public official to make an authentic deed and other authority , written in Undang-Undang Jabatan Notaris (UUJN). One of the notary activity is to carry out the administrative process and book the deeds that stored in the form of a notary protocol. From the administration process to bookkeeping notary protocols, there are several problems experienced by owners and employees of the notary office. The first problem is when the notary owners cannot properly maintain the notary protocol, such as being scattered, lost, or damaged the notary may be sanctioned is written in pasal 16 article number (11) UUJN 2/2014. The second problem is the number of notary protocols, it is difficult for owners and employees when the client ask their deed progress. The Owners and Employees must predict where the deed is stored. The third problem is deadlines, because employees of the notary office sometimes forget which work is close to the deadline. In addition, notary protocols that are stored can be damaged for years due to the age of the paper that can only last a dozen years. Based on these problems, there's a new method for the bookkeeping system and notary protocol administration, is stored digitally. Based on the notary protocols catalog from the physical storage at the office, it gives notifications about the paper age, deadline reminders and supervise the office work, such as any work that has not been completed, the progress of the work, and who works to solve the office problems. The software development is using the waterfall method. This system was developed by web-basd, using the PHP programing language, and codeigniter framework. Unit testing is usingg the whitebox tsting methd and the result 100% vald from 3 tests. Validation testing is done usiing the blackbox testing methd and the resulted were 100% valid from 86 tests. Usability testing was done usingg the System Usability Scale methodd the scre was 85,5 and categorized acceptable, so the system has complete the needs of users.

Abstract

Coral reef ecosystems are very important for the source of life for a variety of marine biota. Coral reefs have ecological and economical benefits, so it is necessary to carry out regular monitoring so that the ecosystem is well maintained. This monitoring is carried out so that the handling of management runs properly, for this purpose coral identification activities are needed in a certain area. Identification of corals is not as easy as identifying plants, animals or other creatures that have common terminology and have been established. Corals that have similar types like the example in Genus are difficult to do. Therefore it is necessary to classify the Hard Coral Genus (Scleractinia) with the Gray Level Counseling Matrix (GLCM) method. The class used is the genus Acropora, Echinopora, Porites and Fungia. Processing is carried out using the image of the coral with this type of genus by GLCM preprocessing. The features used in the GLCM process are Contrast, Entropy, Energy, Homogenity and Correlation values. The classification used is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with the results obtained by the four Genus still difficult to identify with the results of accuracy of 25%.

Abstract

Lia Jaya Sentosa is a travel company that operates in the field of car rental to deliver passengers to certain cities. Based on interviews conducted, there is inefficiency in the departure schedule search activities, operators must look into the ledger first to check the departure schedule that is still available, causing prospective passengers to wait long enough just to find out the empty schedule. In addition, in the process of recording orders that occur, recording is usually carried out in a ledger, then every month it will be recapitulated into Microsoft Excel files. This will certainly make the operator work twice because in addition to recording it, then the operator must recap it into a report into Microsoft Excel files so that it will make it less effective and efficient. Therefore, to facilitate data processing starting from recording, ordering to making reports, it is necessary to have a system that can handle these things. The development of this system uses the waterfall method, which the process starts from the analysis of system requirements carried out by conducting interviews with Lia Jaya Sentosa travel operators. Then the design phase is carried out which is divided into architectural design, component design, data design and interface design. Then the implementation phase realizes the system to be built in accordance with the design that has been made, both of which are carried out with an object oriented approach. The results of unit system testing are 100% valid, 100% integration testing is valid, 100% validation testing is valid and in usability testing is a system built that can facilitate existing work in the company based on the SUS (System Usability Scale) score obtained 83,5.
