Abstract

The development of technology in today's era is very fast, especially in the world of robotics. Therefore, many large companies are competing in making robots that can help ease the burden on humans in their activities, ranging from daily activities to activities in the industrial world. The robot that is commonly used in the industrial world is an arm robot, this robot can help in minimizing mistakes made by humans and make work faster. In setting the movement, the robot can use the Inverse kinematics method. This method can adjust the robot's movement to the coordinates that have been determined. The research aims to make a four DOF arm robot, equipped with an Arduino UNO microcontroller and servo motor servo and TCS3200 color sensor. From the results of the study found that the color sensor can distinguish the colors that have been determined namely red, green and blue precisely. For testing the accuracy of angles without using the method obtained an average in servo1 of 17.74%, servo2 of 16.97% and servo3 of 15.85%. While the angular accuracy testing using the Inverse kinematics method obtained an average of servo1 of 21.45%, servo2 of 21.45% and servo3 of 13.46%. Testing the angular accuracy by comparing the formulas of forward kinematics and inverse kinematics obtained a difference of degrees between 0 - 7.95⁰. And in the test of time in achieving the intended coordinate points obtained an average value of 7,094s to move the red cube, 7,518s for the green cube and 8.84s to move the blue cube. From the research it was concluded that the robot arm can make movements with several combinations using inverse kinematics with a success rate of 100%.

Abstract

Sidoarjo government has implemented e-government for employees named Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai (SKP) to provide services for employees in work performance assessments. However, in daily use SKP still has a various of problems. This study aims to describe variable in the DeLone and McLean model to find out the success of SKP in Sidoarjo. The DeLone and McLean model consists of variables of information quality, system quality, service quality, intention to use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Descriptive statistical approach ware applied to processed data from 120 employees of e-government system by distributing 10 questionnaires to 12 Satuan Kerja Pangkat Daerah (SKPD) in Sidoarjo. The finding of this study that the success rate of SKP in Sidoarjo from the perspective of employees with a percentage of 82.34% was included in the 'Very High' category. However, there are still three variables that have values below the average, namely the variable information quality with the lowest indicators of relevance, accuracy, and completeness; system quality with the lowest indicators of integration; and service quality with the lowest indicators of responsive and empathy. As a recommendation, the variable that is still below the average needs to be optimized through improvement.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has resulted in many people writing their opinions on social media as in the KASKUS forum. KASKUS is an online forum site that provides a place to find information and share hobbies. One is called Movies forum which contains discussions about a movie that has been watched. Users writes their opinion about a film whether the film is good or bad. These opinions can be analyzed to determine how the user feedback about the film in order to produce useful output for the filmmaker by perform sentiment analysis to classify opinions into positive or negative classes. The process of sentiment analysis was performed using methods Naive Bayes for classification and Lexicon Based Features to weight the sentiment value of a word. The process starts from text preprocessing, term weighting, Naive Bayes training, and Naive Bayes testing with Lexicon Based Features weighting using Barasa's lexicon. Based on the results of tests performed, using Naive Bayes and Lexicon Features Based method, the values of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure were 0.8, 0.8, 0.8 and 0.8. While using the Naive Bayes method without Lexicon Based Features, the values of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure are 0.95, 1, 0.9 and 0.9474. So, the use of Naive Bayes and Lexicon Based Features methods still cannot provide better results.

Abstract

MetaPROGRESS is a psychological consulting and human resource management institution located in Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. One of the psychological tests it served is the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) which can assess personality traits and psychopathology. In practice, there are obstacles experienced in the process of interpreting the MMPI test results by them. Counselors sometimes make mistakes in writing reports on test results such as writing the client identity and matching the answer incorrectly. The process of interpreting the test results takes more than 15 minutes for 1 client and can be done longer if the test is done in groups. Also, they are constrained by receiving a number of files that must be taken. These problems may impact on other counselor's productive activities that can be delayed. The suggested solution is to build an interpretation system of MMPI test results with the waterfall software process model. The system is web-based so that it can be accessed by many computer platforms. The requirement engineering process produce 35 functional and 1 nonfunctional system requirement. 100% valid results are indicated by functional testing. In compatibility testing, there are no critical problems found on all browsers tested. Based on these results, this system can be a solution to their problem.

Abstract

Mitra Original Group is one of the ground transportation services company that provides inter-city travel Services, package delivery service according to travel route, and fleet Charter. These services make the administration of data as important in operational activities, but the still conventional operational activities become a barrier for the company in conducting complete data administration. Based on the problem, the company needs to improve performance in operational activities. Performance enhancement can be assisted by the information System (SI) of travel agents related to the ticketing process and data administration to be developed in this research. The application of Rational Unified Process method is suitable because it is included in iterative development so that it can define the change in system needs well. System development is done through four phases, namely inception generate business processes and 9 system features, elaboration resulted in system design with Unified Modeling Language, Construction produces SI that implemented using CodeIgniter Framework, then conduct validation tests that result in the functionality of the system running properly, further testing system compatibility indicating that the system can run well on some browsers, as well as The transition phase performs the usability testing resulting in a score of 80.5. It shows that the SI interface is easy to understand and use by users.

Abstract

Sea wave height prediction is difficult thing to do. One factors become wave generator is wind that influenced by wind direction and wind speed. These factors are difficult to calculate and predict manually, because wind conditions change any time. Wave height prediction is important because useful for shipping safety. Many prediction methods can used to make predictions, one of them is ANN Backpropagation used in this study to predict wave height in the next hour. Time-series data used in this study is wave height, wind direction, and wind speed data every one hour in East Java Sea from 2013 to 2014. The application of ANN Backpropagation in prediction of wave height is through by several phases, there are data normalization, weight initialization using Nguyen-Widrow, training, testing, and forecasting. The training data used is wave height, wind direction, and wind speed data every one hour from January to December 2013 and the test data used is data from January to June 2014. The training process used learning rate 0.5 ,4 neurons input layer,3 neurons hidden layer,1 neuron output layer, error limit MAPE training of 13,2% and maximum of 30000 iterations.The combination of these parameters produces average MAPE test value of 17.53182%.

Abstract

In a software house, project managers took an important role in managing and making software. The project manager for each project is given to different people. But it is also possible for someone to act as a project manager on more than 1 project at the same time. For how to report from each worker to the project manager also varies. There are those who hold meetings once a week, or on weekdays before going home, or the project manager must ask to each member. So, the project manager cannot monitor every progress of the latest workmanship of the team members at all times and also cannot directly assign assignments to the team members as well as team members cannot know the tasks that must be done if the previous task has been completed. To solve the problem, the author developed a multi-project management application that can manage work activities carried out, and monitor the progress of the project. The application applies the Scrum method, in which there is an iteration for the process of working on the project. In developing the application the author uses the waterfall model. Based on the testing performed, unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing produced a valid value in the test case that has been done. In compatibility testing shows that the application can run optimal on 9 of the 11 browser versions tested.

Abstract

Implementation of Augmented Reality in game development has a great impact on user experience (UX). In development game with the simulation genre by implementating of marker-based Augmeted Reality is the main goal of this study. A game with Radio Control Car (RC) Simulator's theme has an description simulate the games as on the real world. The main target of this game itself is to produce a new user experience by increasing user experience and interaction with RC Car Simulator games without the presence of physical objects directly and without thinking of a large place to play it. In this study the selection of frameworks using the MDA framework as an appropriate concept in the development of RC Car Simulator games. In this game development is done by using a paper prototyping and followed by digital prototyping until all the elements of development that fit to the digital games. Play testing process that has been completed in this study is obtained from the use of Augmented Reality can be achieved with the existence of virtual objects displayed in the real world can provide user experience on aspects of usability testing, where almost 80% agree with what is expected by the developer where the results are satisfactory and a lot of feedback is obtained during the testing.

Abstract

Emotions is a person's reaction or feeling into a situation. Emotion is temporary that can occurred by a stimulus because of some people around and the environment. One of example an environment that can trigger someone's emotion is from the song being listened to. Song lyrics are the parts that can build emotions. Choosing the right words for lyrics are very important because it will create the right emotion. In this case the emotional classification of song lyricis will be done classifying process using several methods are Improved K-Nearest Neighbor, BM25 and feature selection. The proses of classification have seome stages, which is the stage of pre-processing documents, stages of calculation the BM25 score and sorting document, and the classification stage with using the algorithm is Improved K-Nearest Neighbor. The testing for classifications was done uses 6 times K-fold and use the confusion matrix. This research is the amount of training data used by 100 documents, and testing data used by 20 testing documents. In the all the tests have done obtained the best average results when the value K = 55 with a result of f-measure is 0.6693, recall is 0.6582, and precision is 0.7427.

Abstract

The recent development in technology has allowed technology to give ease the lives of the general public. One of the conveniences of the development is an online shopping system. Shopee is one of the available online shopping platforms. Shopee's application has provided convenience in terms of buying and selling one's products online thru a smartphone where all of those features can be accessed. In online shopping activities, the price of sold products is equally important to its quality where it is mostly shown thru reviews. Unfortunately, many consumers have difficulty in understanding certain reviews from other consumers rooting from the usage of non-standard language. Therefore, this research focuses on sentiment analysis research of reviews in the form of text which will be divided into two classes, which are positive and negative. The analysis process is started by preprocessing, word weighting thru TF-IDF, followed by normalization, and cosine similarity using the Improved K-Nearest Neighbor and Jaro Winkler Distance to repair words that are not in the standard language. Based on testing of the value of k which is acquired thru evaluation using 5-fold, the optimal value is k=10, after word repairs were done, were a value of 0,876 for accuracy, precision value are 0,810, a recall score of 0,942, and f-measure score of 0,882. Based on the testing results, the accuracy values were fluctuate which were affected by the value of k-values.
