Abstract

Event management system is an important part that is needed when an event requires an accountability and a report from an event that has been or will be done. But in reality there are several problems that can be an impact of the absence of an event management system. The first problem is the frequent dissemination of information about the studies held ineffective. The second problem is that in the absence of an event management system, the accountability report of the event is still not transparent, so it still creates ambiguity in terms of transparency, especially events related to finance, where transparency is needed in events related to finance. Based on these problems, there needs to be an event management system to overcome existing problems. The management system for reviewing and raising funds for the Pesantren As-Sunnnah Pasuruan is a solution to the problem. Created by using website technology and has been tested using the whitebox testing method for unit testing and integration, and uses the blackbox testing method to test validation which results in a 100% valid value for all tested cases, and usability testing that gets a value of 82.5 which is categorized as acceptable.

Abstract

Institute of Research and Community Services (LPPM) Brawijaya University is a unit that carries out the main tasks and functions of Brawijaya University in the sector of research and community service. In carrying out their duties, LPPM leaders are assisted by a secretary. The several tasks of the secretary are events scheduling, loan room scheduling, and leader's appointment scheduling. During this time the task is still done manually, now the solution that is applied is still using excel files and google calendar service, so there is no integration between one data with the other data, while the three scheduling data have relationship with each other. Based on these problems the frontdesk application was made which can be used by secretary and receptionist of LPPM to serve event scheduling, loan room scheduling, and leaders appointment scheduling. Furthermore, to test the implementation result of the making event schedule, making loan room schedule, and making leaders appointment function, validation and user acceptance testing were performed. From the testing phase, the result obtained 74.88% which indicates thet the application built can help users in recording scheduling data and also the application can be accepted and approved by the user.

Abstract

Software cost estimation is an important aspect of an software project for budgeting. In the process of determining the price of a system in CV. The Profile Image Studio does not have specific estimation. because of that make often the company receive losses both financially and time. Based on this case, the cost estimation in this study will implement COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Mode IIl) method is implemented in calculating software costs suggestion for CV. Profile Image Studio. Cost estimates can be obtained after obtaining estimated effort, number of human resources and estimated system development time. COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Model) method is implemented in 2 systems that have been developed by CV. Studio Profile Image. At the end of this study, the cost comparison of system development was done by comparing estimated cost results obtained using the COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Model) with the allocation of costs by CV. Studio Profile Image. The results of applying the COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Model II) method in calculating software costs, it was found that the total estimated cost of the DBA ticket system was Rp.61.344.000 carried out by 3 people in 9 month while pintu air system was Rp.36.352.000 carried out by 2 people in 8 month. Difference in estimated cost for all software is 37,24% with time difference is 52,94 and people difference is 40%. So the COCOMO II method will be more precise in estimating cost of a project that can be minimize the losses received by the company.

Abstract

Lodging is a common thing that is needed by the community at this time, Griya Brawijaya is one of the Universitas Brawijaya business units which is also engaged in lodging services. In the current business process, there are some problems that affect consumer satisfaction and also Griya Brawijaya lodging company, such as the service process on orders that are still not optimal because the data collection system is not integrated so there is duplicated data, and also the checkout process rooms that are often late, then make consumers complain directly to the receptionist, this also happens because of a service mismatch with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Therefore, in solving the problem requires analysis and evaluation, which is focused on business processes in order to improve and also maximize business processes at this time to make improvements to overcome any existing problems. So it takes business process modeling using BPMN (Business Process Modeling and Notation) then analyzes and evaluates the source of the problem using the RCA method (Root Cause Analysis) then makes improvements using the BPI (Business Process Improvement) method. Then simulations are carried out to find out the comparison between business processes that are running now (As-Is) with an improved business process (To-Be) so that any problems that exist at Griya Brawijaya lodging can be resolved.

Abstract

PT. Arta Elektronik Indonesia is a company or startup that is engaged in developing Fintech applications or financial technology with the application name EzyPay. EzyPay also needs an update in terms of the interface that is considered to be less than optimal in supporting the existence of a new business process. Based on the case studies of the above problems, the authors provide a solution by designing the user interface and developing the latest version of EzyPay application with clean and modern interface with new main features that is EzyPay balance. So that with the new interface, people can make payments and purchases easily through EzyPay. Designing the user interface uses the Design Sprint method until the hi-fidelity prototyping stage and do five phase that is understand, define, sketch, decide, prototype, and validate. Testing in this study uses Usability Testing with task scenarios and questionnaires to achieve the parameters of the effectiveness, efficiency, and System Usability Scale (SUS) aspects to achieve parameter satisfaction. From the results of Usability Testing with these parameters, the acceptance value is 92.5%, which means the system can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

Listening to songs has become a norm in society, serving many different purposes, and songs are released frequently nowadays, especially by media-service providers. Users need to overcome the struggle of selecting specific songs because of the enormous information provided by media-service providers. The song recommendation model can play an important part in this puzzlement as an automatic song selector, thus improving the user's experience. In this research, the song recommendation model uses Word2Vec Skip-Gram that functions as a query expansion for the sole purpose of finding the desired lyrics by producing a weight for query expansion. TF-IDF is first used to select the words in the lyrics that will be expanded. The model will give a list of 10 recommended songs. The evaluation results of the recommended song list shows the highest average of precision@10 score of 0.584 and the highest Mean Average Score (MAP) score of 0.7278.

Abstract

Ngalup.co Working Space is a company located in City of Malang that provides working space compilation service, event hall, and meeting room. Website of Ngalup.co Working Space provides information about company profile, services, event held, partnership, pricing, testimony, and blog. For a website that gives information about company and its services must have a good user interface design to improve user experience of website's users. User experience of Ngalup.co Working Space's website assessed by User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) using six scales: Attrativeness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependabilty, Stimulation, and Novelty. The aims of the study were to find out quality level of user experience and redesign website of Ngalup.co Working Space to improve user experience by using User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Evaluating a website for a company is an important thing to meet user needs. The result of UEQ were need to imrpoves on all scale of UEQ especially at perspicuit and dependabilty scale that user understanding of given information. Redesign user interface website of Ngalup.co Working Space improve its user experience at all scales.

Abstract

The Department of Communication and Information of Sidoarjo Regency has the duty as the recipient of the Regent of Sidoarjo with the Regional Organization Unit (ROU) regarding the presentment of the government data of each ROU. To this day, the presentment of government data for the Regent of Sidoarjo still uses the traditional way which consumed more energy and more time-consuming because Diskominfo must process the data that was sent by ROU in the form of excel spreadsheet into a certain diagram first so those data can be easily read by the Regent of Sidoarjo. This caused the decision made by the Regent of Sidoarjo to be delayed. Based on these considerations, an Android-based executive information system e-government dashboard is needed so that the government data needed by the Regent of Sidoarjo can be accessed using a mobile application by retrieving the required data on the available data warehouse with the aid of web services. This system development uses a method called the waterfall model. This research resulted in 4 results which are requirement analysis, system planning, system implementation, and system testing. Validation testing, mobile compatibility testing, and user acceptance testing were used in the testing phase. The results of the tests show how the system run under the requirements defined in the analysis phase and show that this system helps the Regent of Sidoarjo to see the government data easier and make an activity out of it if there's a mistake in the data.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the PDAM Surya Sembada mobile application is to facilitating public in accessing PDAM Surabaya services. However, in reality there are still many users who complained about the ease when accessing various service features in the application. From the findings in PlayStore, it founds any reviews about the navigation of application was not good, and users cant get any successes notifications when the they took an action, which caused the difficulties and confused. These difficulties affect the usability of the application. Testing the usability of an user interface is important to do. The goal is to finding problems taht related to usability, and to measure the extent of the ease of application. There are two stages for testing the usability of PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya user interface . The first stage aims to digging the usability problems and the solutions which to be used as material for design improvement recommendations. The second stage aims to assess the level of usability of the user interface after making improvements, so the results can be compared with the previous value. After doing the improvements, the usability value of the application interface for Low Digital Skills respondents increased to 64.7825% from the previous value of 20.095%. Meanwhile, for Tech Savvy respondents the usability value also increased to 64.7825% from the previous value of 29.2925%.

Abstract

Feeding is one of the important things for fish farming and hobbyist businesses. Currently feeding is generally still dependent on human resources that are manual. Therefore designed tools to feed fish that can work automatically based on the time or schedule of feeding and the amount or amount of feed. Nowadays wireless technology is becoming very popular because of its ability to distribute and disseminate data wirelessly. An important factor in keeping fish in an aquarium is the timeliness of fish feeding. Based on this in this final project project is designed and made a fish feed tool based on the number of fish and water level. Then designed a tool that makes it easy to feed fish based on the number of fish that is automatically in accordance with specified. The components of fish feed scheduling support include making the minimum circuit Arduino Uno system as the brain of this tool which will later be filled with programs using the Java language, RTC (Real Time Clock) as a timer, DC Motor to rotate the spiral wire connected to the place of fish feed . Then the ultrasonic sensor readings are processed using an Arduino uno microcontroller. Tests carried out ultrasonic sensor testing, processing time testing, automatic fish feeding testing and the suitability of the serial data monitor and LCD. In this study it was found that the tool worked well, the functional suitability of the feeding equipment was 90% and the results were successful and smooth.
