Abstract

Completion of thesis for students is one of the requirements to get a bachelor's degree. But there are still students who have some problems in the thesis process. Therefore, an alternative container is needed to accommodate the additional needs of students in one environment and be able to help facilitate students in completing their thesis activities, namely the application of student thesis assistance. This system is designed using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology so that students and their guardians can use this web application offline, get notification of the latest information and add it to the home screen. The design carried out is the design of architecture, components, data, and interfaces. The design of this application was tested using the Traceability Matrix, (Coupling between Object Classes) CBO, (Response for a Class) RFC, (Lack of cohesion in methods 1) LCOM1 metrics, and (Lack of cohesion in methods 2) LCOM2 metrics. The results of the design are compatible with all artifacts made based on the use case with traceability matrix testing. The design quality test results have a low coupling with an average value at the level of CBO <= 5 and RFC <= 100. Low cohesion in all three classes tested with LCOM1> 1 and fulfills LCOM2 values ​​0 to 1, high understandability due to low coupling, and high adaptability due to average CBO values ​​between 1 to 3. Average RFC values ​​between 1 to 69.

Abstract

Cow's milk is a popular food and beverage consumed by the public. The benefits generated from cow's milk are numerous, because they contain protein, vitamins, and minerals needed in the body. Sales of cow's milk are often found in rural, urban, tourist attractions, roadside, to restaurants. Because there are so many people who need cow's milk, there are often bad sellers or sellers selling impure cow's milk. Because by falsifying cow's milk, naughty sellers benefit very much. From the falsification of the purity of cow's milk, there are a lot of losses felt by consumers, including consumers being a loss, so that the worse is consumers can be hospitalized because falsified milk is included ingredients that are not suitable for food. Therefore, to help the public not to get caught buying cow's milk which has been mixed with water by an individual, tools are needed that are able to test the purity of cow's milk directly and quickly. Because of this problem, a research was carried out to build a tool that could detect cow's milk, mixed milk or pure milk. This research requires a TCS3200 color sensor which is used to detect color in cow's milk, and also a pH sensor to obtain the acidity value in cow's milk. For the classification results using the Naive Bayes method calculation. The choice of using the Naive Bayes classification is because the method can be used to process biased data and accurate calculation results. Based on the test results, obtained an accuracy of Naive Bayes calculation of 90% taken from 20 times the test, and the test there are 2 results that are not appropriate. While the speed of calculating the device starts from the taking of the value by the sensor until the tool can issue an average classification result of 6932 ms.

Abstract

People in this digital era take a picture before eating is one of lifestyle. Then the result of the picture will be uploaded to social media. Traditional food's pictures dissemination still less identified encourages this research about the classification of traditional food's image. Extraction of classification features food image is difficult because of food can vary dramatically in appearances such as shape, texture, color, and other visual properties. Convolution Neural Network (CNN) is a method that can learn its own features on a complex image. Hopefully, CNN evaluation results for the classification image of traditional food can provide a solution to identify the image of traditional food. Result of this research in building the architecture of the Convolutional Neural Network model for classification of the traditional food image required 4 conditional layers, 4 max-pooling layers, and 2 fully connected layers. That architecture obtained because it gets the smallest loss value with 0.000044 value on the 15 epoch during the learning process and gets a 73% precision, 69% recall, and 69% F-score.

Abstract

KPP Pratama Malang Utara published the application of e-TPT KPP Pratama Malang Utara to improve the quality of office services to taxpayers. the e-TPT application was developed to facilitated the services and related to retrieving queue numbers, tracking files, online consultations, and information on requirements and petition. however, this application still had usability related problems reported by users, such as the save button in the settings when it doesn't work, and content that does not match with the title menu. The purpose of this study are evaluate and improve the e-TPT application interface with the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. HCD is an approach to developing interactive systems that aim to make the system useful by focusing users into the development process. hcd has four stages, the first stage are understanding and specifying the context of use, the results obtained at this stage are the characteristics of taxpayers. the second stage is specifying the user requirements, evaluating the application using the usability testing method which aims to identify usability problems in the application. Usability testing uses five aspects of Nielsen, it calls learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and, satisfaction. In the satisfaction aspect, the system usability scale questionnaire was used. The results of the initial evaluation of the learnability aspect had received 51.25%, efficiency aspects 46.22%, aspect errors 30.08%, memorability aspects in terms of time increased by 45% and in terms of number of tapes 39.2% from initial testing, and aspects of satisfaction 40,5%. The initial evaluation found 11 problems from observations, 14 problems from interviews, and combined with 9 problems. the third stage is producing design solutions, the results of this stage are information architecture, low-fidelity, high-fidelity, and prototypes to solve the problems in the previous stage. the last stage evaluating the design usability testing and sus questionnaire, and getting better results from the initial design. the results of the learnability aspects get 100%, efficiency 100%, errors 0%, memorability in terms of time increases 49.05% and the number of tap 20.7%, satisfaction 78%. Comparison of the results of the initial design and solution design is a design solution that has a better impact on the usability aspects of the user.

Abstract

HIPPAM Dharma Tirta Bogorejo Village is one of the Water Distribution Business Entities in Bogorejo Village, Bancar-Tuban District. The village head of Bogorejo explained that the management of HIPPAM's annual recapitulation and customer data is still done manually, which is recorded in a book. Customers also often do not pay attention to the amount of usage, do not remember the payment due and the absence of prior notice of problems related to HIPPAM. The clerk also still records the amount of usage and the amount of the customer's water payment by recording it in a book. This research will discuss the maximum data collection method for monitoring the amount of water use by making a website and android based application. The officer scans the QR Code as the customer id attached to each stand meter to enter customer data and will automatically be stored in the database. Notifications regarding HIPPAM issues are sent via SMS Gateway. The prototyping method is used because it has a development flow to find out the immediate needs of users and meet changing needs. Observations and interviews are used in the data collection process. Tests carried out namely testing functionality including unit testing and validation obtained all valid results. Non-functional testing is usability with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the results of usability testing conducted, a score of 100 was obtained from the admin side, 82.5 from the customer side and 100 from the officer side. These figures prove and can be concluded if the application is acceptable, has good usability, convenience and satisfaction for the user.

Abstract

Mosque is a place for worship activities. Not only a place for prayer, but in the past mosque was as a study center. With the development of mosques in various of campuses in Indonesia, Masjid Raden Patah, which is the main University of Brawijaya mosque, is one of the best in terms of carrying out various types of activities, activities and routine coaching programs. However, in managing various activities at the Masjid Raden Patah, most of them are still managed by one person who is the Managerial in Takmir Masjid Raden Patah. Management activities that include routine activities such as prayer schedules, routine study schedules, routine coaching schedules, and incidental events are required to publish information with several social media including live streaming, generate mosque calendar activities so that they can be easily recognized by all University academics in University of Brawijaya. System for managing activities and publishing information is important even though technically the Masjid Raden Patah already has a website address and various kinds of social media but still needs additional features to help manage all mosque activities, so not only for publication but also manage activities at the same time. Therefore Masjid Raden Patah need a management information system, that is Web-Based Masjid Raden Patah University of Brawijaya Management Information System, built using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in developing software to get 100% when all test scenarios are carried out, and in compatibility testing this system can works without problems in 75% of the 11 browsers tested.

Abstract

Forest fires is a disaster that often occurs in various countries in the world, especially those with many forest areas. In June 2017, Portugal hit by a forest fire with a loss of more than 565 million US Dollars. In this case, meteorological data can affect several fire indices and can be used area forecasting for extra protection to prevent excessive losses and preservation of natural resources. This paper uses the backpropagation method, which begins with the calculation of preprocessing data (min max normalization, and logarithmic normalization). The weight normalization calculation use Nguyen Widrow method, the calculation of the feed forward process to determine the output at each iteration index, the error value is calculated at the iteration index and the weight is corrected using the backpropagation process. Furthermore, the output value is normalized to return the data to the initial range. The test results are calculated using Mean Square Error (MSE) on each parameter test. Test parameters get the best learning rate value that is 0.1 with the results of MSE 6743,716, 3 hidden neurons with MSE 6745,456, 10 epoch with MSE results 6740,684, and the 10% ratio of test 90% ratio of training data which produces MSE 1881,604.

Abstract

The capital city relocation policy of the Republic of Indonesia that was announced by President Joko Widodo last August caused many pros and cons in the community, especially in the social media environment. In this study, sentiment analysis of the policy is done using data obtained from Twitter. The system development process includes data scraping, preprocessing, Raw Term Frequency calculation and classification using the Naive Bayes method. In preprocessing, the filtering process is done using the Term-Based Random Sampling algorithm to create a stoplist. The testing process is done by 2 methods, parameter testing and multiclass confusion matrix testing. Parameter testing is done by changing the percentage of term of the training data used as a stoplist, ranging from 0 percent to 60 percent, while the confusion matrix is ​​used to calculate the value of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure. Based on the confusion matrix test results, the system gets the best macroaverage value in the classification with a stoplist of 20 percent with an accuracy macroaverage value of 0,94, precision macroaverage value of 0,945, recall macroaverage value of 0,94, and f-measure macroaverage value of 0,938.

Abstract

Sport is one of the activities to improve the quality of life and physical and spiritual health. In the present era in doing sport activities can are given various facilities including: imitating tutorials on youtube or hiring a sports instructor. From the results of interviews with 14 sports instructors in the City of Malang, the obstacles to marketing their services were the limited information dissemination and rapid competition and development in the world of sports instructors.And the survey result of respondents in the city of Malang which is divided into 3 circles are public, students and coeds of men and women,83.8% of them like zumba, aerobic, yoga, gym, swimming, muaythai and 60.6% of them need a sports instructor in conducting the sport activities but 63.4% of them encountered problems in the search for sports instructors are difficult to find a profile instructor, lack of reference, difficult to find an instructor who can adapt to our schedule and lack of instructor pricing information per training session. The developed solution is to develop a web-based sports instructor service application with waterfall software development cycle. Applications built using a web-based basis make it easy to access many platforms on the computer. In the process of engineering needs obtained 54 your functionality with 4 actors inside and 1 non functional needs. Test results blackbox testing obtained 100% valid against the functionality of the application. Test results of whitebox testing were obtained low probability levels against the error. And test result non functional testing compability indicates the application does not encounter errors against the browser tested. Based on these results it can be concluded that this application deserves to be the solution of the problems that occur.

Abstract

MANET nodes are dynamic, which means that nodes can freely join and leave the network so that the formation of network topologies is dynamic. Each node can also behave abnormally like a black hole attack that can interfere with the routing process. Black hole attacks work by stating that they have the shortest route to the destination node to the source node. This will be very dangerous if the package sent is a package that contains important information so MANET needs a security mechanism to be able to detect and avoid black hole attacks. The detection system for black hole attacks consists of the process of searching for black holes and avoiding black hole routes. black hole search process is done by sending a RREQ message with a fake destination address. If there is a reply from the fake RREQ message, the RREP message sending node is marked as a black hole. The results of testing with a detection mechanism can find out the location of a black hole, it is proven by a mechanism that can overcome black holes in the scenario of the position of different black holes. In the test results can be seen when there is a black hole detection mechanism, the PDR value in the random walk movement of 94.164% can be greater than 0.00410408% without a detection mechanism. This happens because the data sent from the source node can reach more destination nodes than without the detection mechanism
