Abstract

University of Brawijaya's career development and entrepreneurship unit (UPKK UB) has service facilities provided to UB alumni and other university students. On the implementation, there is a problem in limited amount of the job vacancy information provided by UPKK UB and it is not enough to fill needs of people who use the services of UPKK UB in finding job vacancies. Also, there are problems in the process of campus recruitment which slow down the staff duties in conducting the campus recruitment process. To solve the problem of UPKK UB services, the campus recruitment system is developed, so that the service provided by UPKK UB can run well. In the development of campus recruitment system, there are 78 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements, the system is developed using waterfall system development life cycle. The result of unit test, integration, and validation are 100%, and the result of compatibility are 82%, and performance efficiency in time behavior tests are 0.196 seconds, with resource utilization which are RAM ± 2.337 MB and CPU ± 0.31%, capacity is 146 users.

Abstract

Jasa Raharja data (DASI-JR) is an information system used to help manage service and financial data at PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero). This system is a database-based application that integrates data. The implementation of the Kediri representative, provides ease of payment of traffic accidents so as to facilitate the community in the disbursement of accident compensation funds. Problem instant applied tie-JR is (1) if server down service will cease; (2) Because the service stops, the data input process will be repeated from scratch; (3) In some processes still manual such as Laka data or police accident data; (4) Because Laka data is manual, some service processes do not run (5) The process of service is not running causing decreased operational process performance; (6) The simultaneous use of usernames causes data input errors. Based on the description, this study of the performance analysis of the TIE-JR information System used the methods of analysis of PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Eficiency and Sevice) of the corporate Data Information System Services Raharja (DASI-JR). Data collection techniques with questionnaires and population characteristics in this study as many as 22 respondents then conducted a descriptive statistical analysis. Based on PIECES analysis shows that the overall mean result is 3.92. On the performance mean of 4.01, above the overall mean value. In the information variable mean of 4.11, above the overall mean value. In the economic mean variable of 3.78, it is below the overall mean value. In the variable control mean of 3.88, it is below the overall mean value. At a variable efficiency mean of 3.94, above the overall mean value. In the service mean variable of 3.75, it is below the overall mean value. The economic, control and service variables can be concluded as a top priority for repairs, if viewed from the overall mean.

Abstract

Intermittent credit is one of the problems or risks that are often faced by some auto loan service providers. The problem stems from the debtor's behavior, namely not paying the installments on time. In determining the smoothness of credit payments depends on the analysis of debtor data, but analyzing for large amounts of data can take up more time. This study uses the Information Gain feature selection and the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to overcome the problem of effectiveness and determine the accuracy of the classification level of the smoothness of auto loan payments so as to determine the effect of feature selection. Information Gain feature selection which is used to reduce feature dimensions so that relevant features can be obtained. The selected features are then processed for classification using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Based on testing from this study, the highest accuracy obtained is 94.44% when testing with a balanced class distribution using the number of features 3 and the value of K = 4 while the lowest accuracy is obtained at 33.33% using the number of features 10 with a value of K = 5 when testing with uneven class distribution. Features that produce the highest accuracy are jobs, income and price on the road (OTR). The three features are features with the largest order of gain values and have a gain value of more than 0.1.

Abstract

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) is a natural conservation area manager who has an original ecosystem, being managed with a zoning system and used for research, science, education, cultivation, culture, tourism and recreation purposes. TNBTS Booking system can provide an alternative to access licensing services online and systematic for Entering Conservation Areas (SIMAKSI). there are many complaints and criticisms about the difficulties in registering the system found on Booking Semeru (bromotenggersemeru.bookingsemeru.org) social media. This research aims to find problems experienced by users when interacting with Booking Semeru using Usability testing methods and interviews with an improvement plan as a comparison form. This study uses 8 respondents classified by 2 types of users based on the intensity of the using system. Results of this improvement study found that the increase in usability testing results from 3,21 of the learnability matrix fell to 1,18. 77.6% from the efficiency matrix increase to 100.0%. The memorability matrix on the initial evaluation of the average number of clicks and the average processing time of 25 clicks and 188 seconds to 15 clicks and 45.25 seconds. 2.84% of the error matrix down to 0%. 43.8 of matrix satisfaction at the initial evaluation rise to 81.9. All results of testing on the interface improvement design compared to Booking Semeru increased in value on each usability matrix.

Abstract

Oranges contain vitamin C and a lot of mineral content. The public will definitely choose an orange fruit whose skin color is orange or the condition is ripe. Therefore, farmers must harvest citrus fruit when the conditions are ripe or when the color of the skin turns orange. In the area of ​​agriculture today there are those who implement modern agriculture. The use of technology applied to agriculture is the use of robots. Currently in Indonesia there is no robot that automatically harvests mature oranges in the garden by detecting which ones are already ripe in the garden and then picking them. The harvest process also requires a counter function of ripe oranges in the garden which can be detected to find out the number of ripe oranges found in the garden. From the problems above, the research conducted by this writer will focus on the detection of mature oranges in the garden and the calculation of mature oranges detected using digital image processing. This system will take pictures of oranges found in the garden. The process of detecting ripe oranges uses the Hue, Saturation and Chrominance-Red color space, whereas for the calculation of ripe oranges detected using a watershed algorithm. In testing the system in the process of calculating ripe oranges using watershed algorithm obtained an accuracy rate of 82.14% with an average computing time of 2652 ms for one calculation process.

Abstract

Javanese-Arabic alphabet which is well-known as Pegon is an old code used as main alphabet for writing activities in Indonesia. Currently, the use of pegon is diminishing, it is used only by people in pesantren. In pesantren itself, Pegon is a subject taught in 45 minutes without the help of instructional media The learning of Pegon in a class is less effective although it is taught as a single subject. This case is caused by the lack of learning media in a learning process. In other case, if by chance the learning media is exist, it is limited and is not able to be used widely. By the condition found in the field of research, there is a need to develop an application of pegon with user-centered method. This application is designed to be user-experience oriented, so that it has enough usability value which is friendly to be used by teacher and student, and is able to make the learning of pegon more effective. Moreover, UCD method is iterative. It means UCD are able to dig every end-user need which is changeable directly. Result of this research is the availability of pegon learning application with usability examination using USE questionnaire. The application developed has feasibility average of usefulness criteria 89,14%, ease of use 100%, ease of learning 92,33%, satisfaction 92,33%, and usability using task scenario 95%.

Abstract

In 2016, cardiovascular disease was the number one cause of death in the world. It was happened because cardiovascular disease was often detected late. The application of Internet of Things (IoT) in electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring is considered as a solution to that problem. At this moment, an ECG monitoring system has been developed using IoT architecture. That system consists of ECG sensor nodes that use WiFi to transmit ECG data to the data storage on the cloud. However, WiFi is considered unsuitable to be used in IoT applications because of its large frame overhead and high power consumption. Therefore, a mechanism for transmitting ECG data based on LoRa technology, which is considered suitable because of its small frame overhead and low power consumption, is designed. This research produced a mechanism where sensor nodes are able to record and send ECG data to the LoRa gateway and LoRa gateway is able to forward received ECG data to the application on the cloud. However, the applied ECG data transmission mechanism in this research resulted 25,5 seconds end-to-end delay. So, it didn't fulfill the requirement in ECG data transmission for non-critical monitoring uses, the unfulfilled requirement is 4 seconds maximum delay.

Abstract

Food is one of the needs in primary needs which is very important for humans. These needs must be met every day, but the human tendency for food needs changes with the times. Society in general will choose fast food that is ready to be served rather than choosing traditional food. In this day and age, most people tend to capture the moment when they want to enjoy a food that will be consumed. Taking pictures (photos) is one way, from which the images are obtained an image on food. The image will display several different colors, so the color will be a feature that can be used for extraction. One method used to extract color features in images is Color Moment. This feature will produce three main values namely mean, standard deviation, and skewness. In addition, this feature together with the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm will classify the extracted colors based on training data taken as many as k values. In this study, there are 29 Indonesian traditional cake objects that will be used, where the test scenario is divided into 29 classes, 8 classes, 5 classes, and 3 classes. By using the K-NN method and the Color Moment feature, the highest evaluation value obtained is 60% for the test scenario of 3 classes.

Abstract

In 2017, Tuberculosis sufferers in Malang experienced an increase from 2016 by 2.26% with a success rate of treatment of 66.95%. However, patients who actually completed treatment were only 13.47% of patients who had taken treatment since 2016. The cure rate at Polowijen Health Center based on data released by the Malang City Health Service was 66.67% with the number of patients requiring TB treatment In full, only 12.5%. Therefore in this study the authors developed an application for Tuberculosis treatment assistance. The platform used to develop this application is Android, because 93.22% of the population in Indonesia are Android users and 100% of respondents are Android users. To develop this application in this study using the PXP development method which is a derivative of agile development methods and is intended for autonomous developers. The PXP development method supports rapid development and enhances development planning by improving the evaluation process to determine the inhibiting factors of the development process. There is a problem in conducting unit testing of the Firebase Database Reference class, because the class is final. Usability testing using the SUS method gets results 81.25 for the patient side, 81.25 for the PMO side and 80 for the supervisor side.

Abstract

Changing times are increasingly rapid due to the development of information technology. It is estimated, the development of the use of market places from the Internet of Things will be more widespread. For this reason, the government itself has launched the Making Indonesia 4.0 program, where the component is the Internet of Things. The application of the Internet of Things in Indonesia can be done in aspects of transportation, health, the environment, and others. Not without negative impacts, the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) also brings negative impacts, one of which is huge energy consumption. Xbee is a module that is used as a radio communication media with the zigbee 802.15.4 protocol. Xbee can also be configured with several types of features, one of which is the active period where the device is transmitting and in the active period where all devices and microcontrollers can be turned off. From this problem, the implementation of low power sensor nodes in the zigbee communication protocol is designed.The system design with the xbee-s1 communication module is designed in 1 coordinator node, and 3 end nodes that are connected to the arduino uno microcontroller, the DHT-11 sensor, and the LDR sensor in charge of taking sensor data values ​​both temperature, humidity and light resistance value. After being tested to get the results the system can run as expected, with the result of a decrease in the value of the current of 0.031 A or 11.23%.
