Abstract

As the digital era develops, large-sized storage media are needed by many groups such as companies, government agencies, and organizations to store data or files. Also, storage media are needed that can facilitate more than one user in accessing data anywhere simultaneously. Cloud storage answers these needs. The stored data will be placed on the server. However, with the convenience provided by cloud storage, some aspects need to be considered by the user, namely the security of user data so that the data can only be accessed by the data owner or the party is given access. By applying encryption, data can only be accessed by the owner of the encryption key. In this study the encryption algorithm used is Salsa20. Salsa20 algorithm is a proven algorithm for its level of security. The Salsa20 algorithm was chosen because it takes up less memory compared to other algorithms. The secured data are the documents and the keywords. The contents of the document and keywords are encrypted into a new form, ciphertext. The ciphertext security level of this research is proven by active attack testing. But before that, the ciphertext is validated first with a test vector. Vector testing is done by matching the input and ciphertext in the journal. Vector testing results produce a valid status for each scenario. With the validation of the ciphertext in this study, data security is further tested using active attack method, the Known Plaintext Attack (KPA). The KPA attack on ciphertext was declared a failure in getting the key. Based on testing the time of encryption and decryption, it can be concluded that the difference in time of encryption and decryption is not large.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is the holy book which is owned by Muslims. This book is the main reference in living life for Muslims throughout the world. In order to become a good Muslim, each person must practice the contents of the Al-Qur'an. Before being able to practice it, of course a Muslim must be able to read and understand the contents of the Al-Quran. The process of learning to read the Al-Qur'an requires a lot of time and also a teacher as a guide. Regular practice is one solution so that the learning process to read the Al-Qur'an can be completed quickly. However, the teacher as a guide cannot always be there to accompany a student in learning to read the Al-Qur'an. From these problems, the author offers a way, namely an error detection application in reading the Al-Qur'an that can be used as a student training medium without time constraints. The writer developed this application using the Jaro Winkler Distance method as a method of comparison and assessing reading errors. This application makes use of Google's Speech Recognition to convert the voice input entered by the user to the depth of Arabic text. The results of the conversion in the form of Arabic text will be compared with the original text from the Qur'an using the Jaro Winkler Distance method. At the testing stage, the authors found that this method was very incompatible with the object of the Qur'an because the results of the accuracy testing carried out were very low.

Abstract

The website of the Department of Library and Archives of East Java Province was developed to be used as a medium for the public to dig up information related to this library. However, it turns out that the website is still not perfect because there are still things that are not going well. This is known when researchers make observations on the website and conduct interviews with the bibliography, that the website is not yet perfect. Usability evaluation needs to be done to find solutions to the problems found. Usability testing is the right method for conducting this evaluation because it involves direct users and takes advantage of the use of the SUS questionnaire (system usability scale). There are five aspects of usability used in this study, namely efficiency, effectiveness, learnability, memorability, and satisfaction. Usability testing will be conducted on five respondents. In addition to testing, the five respondents will also be interviewed in order to explore usability problems that cannot be found if only based on testing. The results of the test found 23 problems. This problem will be analyzed in depth, which aims to determine the usability value on this website. The results of the data analysis also show that the aspects of efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction get a value that is below the standard, while on the aspects of learnability and satisfaction are good. Then from the results of the analysis, recommendations for improvement are made which are also based on the usability guidelines compiled by the U.S dept of health and human services in 2006 so that this website becomes easier and more convenient for users to use.

Abstract

Symptoms of hypoxia are a condition caused by a lack of oxygen in the cells and tissues of the body and this condition can cause damage to the nerves of the brain, liver and other organs which will lead to death. The use of technology in the medical field has created a system to detect hypoxic symptoms using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. The detection system using the K-Nearest Neighbor method can be carried out in knowing the condition of a person's body without injuring the body or it is called non-invasive. Retrieval of heart rate and oxygen saturation data using the MAX30100 sensor by placing the index finger on the red LED component and the IR photodiode component. It takes 20 seconds and the finger must not move during the take to get the optimal value. In taking the volume and rhythm of breathing is done using a Flex sensor. The hardware used is the Arduino Mega, the MAX30100 sensor and the Flex sensor. The level of accuracy on 10 tests on the MAX30100 sensor is 97.07% and the accuracy level obtained on the Flex sensor is 92.77%. In classifying using the K-Nearest Neighbor method, there is a level of accuracy at the k = 3 value of 90% k = 5 by 80% and k = 7 by 70% and there is a computational average of 3.37 ms in 10 tests.

Abstract

Teacher attendance system is a teacher attendance documentation that is useful for monitoring teacher attendance every day. During this time, the teacher attendance system applied at SMPN 8 Malang is only a daily attendance system. Teacher attendance system for each subject still doesn't exist, this results in monitoring staff not easily monitoring teachers who are teaching. From these case, it is necessary to develop a teacher attendance system on Android-based that is equipped with location and photo features for each subject to facilitate the teacher monitoring process. To add authentic evidence class leaders can send photos and review lessons. Photos can only be taken in realtime. The location feature utilizes Location Based Service technology to determine the location of teachers and class leaders who are within the radius of the school in order to make a presence. The system will automatically send alpha status to teachers who are not doing presence using scheduling on cron jobs. The teacher attendance system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle development method using the waterfall model because the manufacturing is done in stages. The test results of the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained 87 which states that the teacher attendance system is included in the category of acceptable with the best imaginable adjective rating, so it can be said that the teacher presence system can be well received by users.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu is a vocational high school that conducts learning at home during the COVID-19 emergency. The delivery of learning material is carried out through school e-learning media and the implementation of video conference on certain learning materials. But on implementation, students still have difficulty understanding the learning material. Therefore, this study aims to develop a COLEARN mobile learning prototype for multimedia majors in vocational high schools. The development of this prototype was carried out using the User Centered Design (UCD) method by adding a profile analysis of students' mental models. UCD involves the end user directly in its development. The analysis stage of the use context carried out the identification of the mental model profile of students as the basis for developing interactions in the prototype. From this process, it is hoped that students will be more familiar with the prototype designs that have been developed. At this stage, a persona, empathy map and a user journey map are also created to identify the user's goals and tasks. In the implementation process of the solution design, a wireframe, mockup and prototype were designed to be evaluated using the usability method and the system usability scale. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that the effectiveness level was 100% with an efficiency of 0.13 tasks per second and a user satisfaction score of 71 with a good category on the SUS assessment criteria.

Abstract

In 2017, the APJII survey results recorded an increase in internet users in Indonesia from 132.7 million people in 2016 to 143.26 million people in 2017. With the development of technology, this also resulted in the growth of startups in Indonesia growing. According to Indonesia's Tech Startup Report 2018, startup companies in Indonesia are becoming more attractive and have a big influence on society. This is what led Digital Innovation Lounge (Dilo) to open a branch in Malang. Dilo is a startup that provides seminar events on current technological developments. The event held by DILo Malang has a special interest in the community. However, with the event, more and more DILo experienced difficulties when making monthly reports from pre-event to post-event regarding the number of participants. In addition, the system for renting a meeting room or lounge is still conventional. Through these problems the authors offer a solution to DILo Malang in the form of a User Experience Design for the Event participant mobile application based on a system with the results of a prototype using the Design Thinking method. The results of testing the mobile application design of the event participants showed the results of testing the efficiency aspects with a value of 95.95%, the results of testing the effectiveness aspects of 97.77% and the results of testing aspects of user satisfaction with the SUS questionnaire got a value of 98.5. The results of the tests carried out get a value above average so that the testing of the mobile application design for the participants of this event shows positive results.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the expectations of the information technology industry as well as the reality of the ability of hard skills and soft skills held by vocational graduates of software engineering, see the gap between expectations and the reality of the ability of hardskills and soft skills graduates and to know the competencies prioritized and need attention in improving the quality of education in vocational schools . This study uses an evaluation research type, with a quantitative approach supported by a qualitative approach and for discrepancies using a discrepancy evaluation model, for the research design used ex post facto design, sampling techniques using purposive sampling, the number of respondents involved is 10 companies, data is collected with interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that there were company expectations of the competencies possessed by vocational school graduates and the reality in the field, graduates had not met industry expectations. Then there is a gap between expectations and reality in the field of graduates' soft skills. With natural science analysis, leadership abilities are highly prioritized and abilities. discipline, critical thinking, creative thinking, database competencies and Mobile Programming Web Programming need to be re-examined by schools.

Abstract

Law is rules in written or unwritten form, which are arraned into a system that determines what can and cannot be done by humans in social life. To protect an prevent misuses of the law, we need someone who understands the problem that exist whithin the scope of the law, namely lawyers. Before determining the suitability of our cases with a lawyer, a consultation is needed about the case we are facing. Today many people need lawyers but to get it is difficult, which one is the mismatch between lawyer and client. To find out whether a lawyer is suitable or not with a client, first the client must consult with the lawyer. To facilitate the search and consultation of lawyers, a system is provided that can be used to consult and search for lawyers. The process for developing this research is using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with an Object-Oriented (OO) approach and website-based. Abstract

The growth of internet encouraged the creation of e-commerce or electronic commerce. E-commerce with the most visitors in Indonesia is Shopee with more than 72 million visitors each month at the end of 2019. Although e-commerce has a lot of good impact, users are still faced with the risks from using e-commerce. Users must be more careful in choosing a store to trust in order to avoid these risks. Users are faced with many choices while looking for products and users must consider which store should they choose. Store clustering on Shopee e-commerce based on store reputation with K-Medoids clustering could solve this problem. The data that used in this study were taken from 100 store in Shopee e-commerce by web scraping. Steps that taken were preprocessing the data, normalization, finding the distance for each data, clustering with K-Medoids, and evaluate using Silhouette Coefficient. In this study, the number of cluster and data were tested. From these tests, it was found that the best Silhouette Coefficient average was 0,317681 while using 2 clusters and 100 data.
