Abstract

Oro Oro Dowo Market Malang is one of the traditional markets with various kinds of commodities on sale by traders. Besides sales and purchase transaction services, other operational activities include Market Management services. However, there are problems such as not optimal results of the market retribution because there are traders who have not paid fees according to the nominal provisions in force, implementation of the e-retribution system is constrained by signals, and most of the market management activities are still not utilizing information technology. Therefore, evaluation is needed to find problems and improvements to solve problems. In this study, business processes are modeled by Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN), then business process evaluation with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and 5 Why's Analysis and recommendations for business process improvement using streamlining tools in the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. Improvements were made to activities with the highest RPN value to focus on the urgency of the problem. Furthermore, simulation is carried out between the current business process (as-is) and the recommendation (to-be) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the improvement recommendations. The simulation results on the Market Retribution Withdrawal business process showed an increase in time efficiency of 24.8%. This can occur due to improvements made by changes and additional activities as well as the use of information systems.

Abstract

Prasetya Online UB is a website owned by Brawijaya University which provides information and news about Universitas Brawijaya. Based on the experience of students as website users, students assess the quality of the website is still not good in terms of appearance to the services provided. In addition, there has never been an evaluation regarding the quality of a website based on user perceptions. This study aims to assess the quality of the website according to user perceptions by using the Webqual 4.0 method which has 4 dimensions, namely usability, information quality, service interaction quality, and user interface quality, while the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is used to determine the indicators contained. in Webqual 4.0 Mods that require improvement. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online to 100 Brawijaya University students who have experience using the website. The results showed that the website was of poor quality and did not meet user expectations. There are 4 indicators that are the main priority for improvement, namely appearance, timeliness of information, functioning website links, ease of communication with managers. In addition, there are 2 indicators that are low priority for improvement, namely a display that matches the type of news website and the layout of the information. Other indicators do not have priority improvements because their performance scores are good and sufficient to be maintained. Recommendations for improvement are focused on indicators that are in the top and low priority and refer to WCAG 2.0

Abstract

The use of electricity is a basic requirement for humans today, therefore it is necessary to have savings in its use so that lower costs and the supply of electrical energy in an area can be saved for something unexpected. Internet of Things is a device or system that is connected and communicates in an internet network. By using IoT, we can carry out a long distance communication which makes the performance of a system more effective and efficient. The communication module that is quite popular in IoT is Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), but in BLE there are still drawbacks, namely the inability to connect to the internet so that a gateway is needed to communicate with the cloud server. This study aims to design an electrical energy saving system. The results of this study indicate that the system can work well. The delay obtained from sending data at the gateway to the Blynk Cloud Server has an average delay of 1,930 s with a jitter of 0.754 s, the average delay from the sensor node to the gateway is 0.672 s. The next test used a variation scenario of 1 meter - 11 meter distance with uccess ratio parameter. The highest success ratio is 90% at a distance of 1 meter and the lowest success ratio is 0% at a distance of 11 meters. The saving of electrical energy is up to 59.04%.

Abstract

The task carried out by a Range officer in overseeing the course of a practical shooting match is quite a lot. From supervising participants, recording the results of the stage execution, handling damage to stage equipment if there is damage during the competition. In addition, the longer a competition lasts, the greater the possibility of errors in recording the results of the stage results. This can happen because of lack of energy, weather conditions, location of the match, and so on. To reduce the task load of the range officer, a recording application is needed to assist the range officer in recording the results of each stage carried out by each participant, as well as conducting data collection and recapitulation of the results of the competition, and directly upload data to the database. The recording system for a practical shooting match was developed using a combination of three technologies, namely an android smartphone, an arduino microcontroller, and a structured database. Smartphones are used as a tool to manage competition data and enter values into the database, microcontrollers are used to make stop plates that are used at the match stage, and databases are used for storing match data. In the android application implemented using the Kotlin programming language, the database is implemented using MySQL. After conducting black box testing to ensure the implementation of functional requirements has functioned as required, it was found that all the needs have been successfully implemented. Hit factor calculation test is done by comparing the calculation of the range officer helper application with the WinMSS program. The results of these tests get the difference calculation does not produce a significant difference that can affect the results of the match

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) released Circular Number 15 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Learning from Home in an Emergency for the Spread of COVID-19, which is known as Distance Learning (PJJ). This Circular was issued during the Covid-19 emergency to protect students' rights to receive educational services while simultaneously preventing the spread of Covid-19. Following the publication of this policy, numerous types of responses or opinions from the general public began to be expressed on social media, especially Twitter. This can take the shape of a good or negative opinion, thus a sentiment analysis is required to determine whether this policy has gotten a lot of favorable or negative feedback. Sentiment analysis is a method for determining the sentiments that present in each viewpoint. The K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classification approach is used for sentiment analysis, and it seeks to find the outcomes or values of the closest documents. In addition, the increase ratio will be used to remove irrelevant terms via feature selection. As a result, the gain ratio with the highest f-measure value, namely 0.74 at k = 11 with testing on the second fold and k = 90 with testing on the first fold, is used. In comparison to using the information gain, the outcome of employing the gain ratio for each fold has a steady f-measure value.

Abstract

Batu City has a good geographic condition that is very supportive of dairy farming activities as evidenced by the total cattle population of 12,431. In cases of monitoring government assets, the Agriculture Office of Batu City carries out annual bookkeeping of cattle livestock activities which include recapitulation data of the number of livestock population and the total amount of the milk produced in a year. In addition, to improve the quality of the dairy cows in Batu City, the government implemented a livestock acceptor card which is used to record cows' biodata along with the history of artificial insemination and cow's birth records. The process is done manually which is considered less efficient and effective because in practice it takes a quite long time, they need two to three months to recap all the population data and milk yields to be able to keep in bookkeeping, besides that, it's necessary to record the health history of cows so the data health is stored properly and can be used to improve the quality of maintenance and health of cows. Therefore, changes are needed to make the implementation of recording and bookkeeping activities become more efficient and not wasting time. Based on the problems above, the author proposes a system that can perform the livestock management for breeders and bookkeeping for Batu Agricultural Services. The system to be implemented has functions to record the medical histories and artificial insemination of the cattle, the amount of milk produced, and the QR Code that contains the livestock data used as the identification collar for each cattle. The system implementation will adopt the waterfall SDLC method with PHP programming language on Laravel framework with MySQL database. The system will be tested using the white box testing method, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing.

Abstract

The Communication and Informatics Office of Gresik Regency is the office of the communication and informatics office of Gresik Regency, East Java province. The Office of Communication and Information of Gresik Regency has the task of organizing government affairs in the field of communication and informatics for the Gresik Regency area, East Java. The business process at the Gresik regency communication and information office is supported by a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which must be carried out by certain parties from beginning to end relating to existing work programs. There is a business process at the Gresik Regency Communication and Information Office that has not been going well. In the task "Development and Development of E-Government Applications and Data" which is carried out from the beginning to the end of the limit in a long time, namely for more than ten days. Whereas in the SOP document the process should be shorter, that is, within seven days. The process is not subject to this fee beyond the time specified in the SOP document, so it can hinder other processes that are mutually sustainable. The evaluation process must be carried out using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) and Root Cause Analysis methods. The first step is to identify business processes with problems, then model the business processes using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Next, determine the quality factor along with the calculation target and perform calculations according to the equation in the QEF method. Then perform the ability on quality factors that are not in accordance with the company's targets. After that, analysis is carried out using Root Cause Analysis in order to find out the root of the problems that occur in the business process.

Abstract

Pupuk Kalimantan Timur is a company that meet the needs of fertilizer in Indonesia. PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur has a data center to manage a lot of important and valuable information which confidentiality must be maintained and secured with clear standards. According to Information Technology Decision and Security of PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur Number 357.A/D30000/V.18 2018, will perform an ISO 27001 certification on information security. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the information security of data center using the SSE-CMM assessment index, to get the results of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) to assess the risk using FMEA and provide recommendations based on ISO 27001 standards. The results show the level of maturity of information security data center using SSE-CMM assessment index is at level 3 (define process). While the results of the risk assessment of data center assets using the FMEA method, there are 14 risks in the Very Low category, 2 risks in the Low category, and 2 risks in the High category. Overall PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur is declared feasible enough to conduct ISO 27001 certification. One improvement recommendation is to make WI to update the information security policy regularly and review the informatioisecurity policy.

Abstract

Indonesia's resource wealth is one of the important assets for a developing country. To advance the wheels of the Indonesian economy, trade activities between countries are carried out, namely exports and imports. Resources exported and imported by Indonesia are oil and gas and non-oil and gas resources. Although Indonesia is capable of producing its own oil and gas and non-oil and gas products, Indonesia's imports of oil and gas and non-oil and gas are still higher than Indonesia's total exports of oil and gas and non-oil and gas. To assist Indonesia's economic development strategy, a prediction is needed to estimate the value of Indonesia's oil and gas and non-oil and gas exports and imports. In this study, the algorithm used is Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). Then, the data used are oil and gas and non-oil and gas export data as well as oil and gas and non-oil and gas import data obtained from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) from January 1993 to December 2020. The results obtained from this study are export data with the average mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) value of 6.6742% for the comparison of the number of training : testing, the number of data features, and the number of hidden neurons the best is 70%:30%, 5, and 8. While for import datasets, the comparison of the number of training : testing, the number of data features, and the number of hidden neurons is the best 80%:20%, 4, and 10 with a final MAPE average of 10.0515%.

Abstract

Submitting complaints and aspirations from the community to the city government is one form of community interaction problem with the government. This problem arises because of the high rate of population growth in a city. Apart from social problems and government bureaucracy, 201 natural disasters were recorded as having occurred in 2019 in Malang City. So far, disaster notification and reporting services or systems have not been developed in Malang City. Notifications are still delivered via social media accounts such as government Twitter accounts. Various complaints compliant applications such as Sambat Online have been created to improve the comfort of the people of Malang City, but no application collects complaints and disaster information based on social crowdsourcing. This research will discuss and develop solutions to the problem of centralization of information for the delivery of complaints and disasters from the community. This study uses the Scrum development method. This method was chosen because the system requirements can change over time. The system is developed using the Firebase platform as a data storage area and the Flutter framework with the Dart programming language as its interface. It is hoped that the system can make the community life of Malang City residents more comfortable, with the results of the usability testing score is 85.5 which means it is acceptable, then the validation test results are satisfactory with all valid test results, and compatibility testing with the results of the system can run on Android 5.1 to above and iOS 12.4 and above.
