Abstract

The hospital patient registration administration system is a system developed to expedite patient registration by minimizing data input errors, both from human error and system error. Agile is a flexible method of working. SCRUM is a framework and method for developing, delivering, and maintaining complex products, with an initial emphasis on software development. SCRUM is a suitable method for developing a system that must have efficiency in carrying out the data recording process. SCRUM incorporates known tools and techniques and can be applied in the best way that a developer can design to build a system. The first process that is carried out is a requirements analysis where functional requirements analysis, use case diagrams, use case scenarios, and non-functional requirements are carried out. After that, the system design is carried out. The contents include sequence diagrams, class diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, data design, and interface design. After the design phase is complete, implementation is carried out. In the process, researchers need to pay attention to the slightest changes that occur either internally or externally with the hospital. Recording is done in the form of iterations. After the implementation is complete, validity and usability testing is carried out. The total SUS score obtained is 1065 and the average value is 81.9231, has a good category and the system has acceptable status.

Abstract

Code Maniac is a gamification-based programming learning platform built by the development team of the Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB), requires interface improvements to find refined design according to user needs and goals. This study aims to evaluate and produce interface design solutions using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method based on the problems obtained. In addition, the usability level of the early design and the repair solution was also carried out. The usability level assessed includes three aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. Initial design testing was carried out on eleven participants to run test scenarios and an emoticon table to find out what users felt. Meanwhile, the solution design test was conducted on eight participants using the USE Questionnaire to measure satisfaction. The design of the solution design improvement is made in the form of an interactive. The final results of this study get improvement design show an increase in all aspects of the test, namely the effectiveness aspect to 100%, the efficiency aspect with a Time-Based Efficiency (TBE) value of 0,064 goals/sec and an Overall Relative Efficiency (ORE) value of 100% which indicates that the solution design improvement the solution design has a better usability rate than the old design. The satisfaction aspect gets an average percentage value of 87,4%, Code Maniac is included in the “Very Eligible” category..

Abstract

PT. Piranha Multi Talenta develops a learning management system Piranha Smart Center as a taxation education course or called website of LMS PSC. Although website LMS PSC has been used by course participants, some issues related to the interface are still found while accessed by smartphone. This study applies Human-Centered Design (HCD) as developing design solutions and using usability testing to find out the interface evaluation value and user experience. User interface evaluation was carried out twice, which are before and after improvement of the user interface LMS PSC. The first evaluation is carried out to understand the context of use and to validate the problems. In the first evaluation which was followed by five participants obtained the average value of effectiveness is 88%, the average value of efficiency is 0,0251 goals/second and 83,19%, and the user satisfaction value based on SEQ is around 3,6 to 5,2 and based on SUS score is 57,00 (level D). Moreover, user interface improvement has been carried out intending to resolve user problems and increase the usability aspects. In the evaluation of user interface improvement that was done as many as two sessions and followed by five previous participants with the same task scenario when the initial evaluation task scenario can improve the value of effectiveness to 100%, the value of efficiency to 0,0574 goals/second and 100%, the increase of user satisfaction value based on SUS score is 94,00 (level A+) and SEQ scores are around 6,4 to 7. While the usability value with task scenario regarding the need for new features that found when understanding the context of using earn effectiveness value about 93%, efficiency value are 0,0771 goals/second and 93,26%, user satisfaction based on SUS score is 90,00 (level A+) and SEQ scores are around 6,6 to 6,8.

Abstract

Milk is a very complex food ingredient, because milk has many ingredients needed by the human body. It is necessary to control the quality of cow's milk in order to produce high quality dairy products. With the development of food technology for cow's milk products, UPT Laboratory of Animal Health Malang by creating an application system that can classify the quality of cow's milk. This cow's milk quality application system uses input in the form of chemical composition where this composition is taken with the Julie C2 Milkscope tool. The chemical composition of milk consists of fat, lean dry matter, viscosity, lactose and protein. There are various methods used. This study uses the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method and the dataset used is 269 cow's milk quality data with 5 parameters and 2 yield classes. Based on several studies, the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method can be used in the classification process and obtain a fairly high level of accuracy. Based on the test results, the average test accuracy value of K value is 91.1%, then the average value of the accuracy of testing the effect of the amount of training data is 88.4%, and the average value of balanced and unbalanced class testing accuracy is 86.12%. It can be concluded that the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method can be implemented and tested into the cow's milk quality classification system.

Abstract

De Tasty is one of the cake shops in Boyolali City that provides various kinds of cake products. In addition, this cake shop also opens a cake ordering service according to customer wishes. But until now cake orders are still done by visiting a cake shop or ordering directly using a cellphone via social media. Ordering cakes through social media is still done conventionally, where customers send photos of payments and store employees will record the transaction data. Ineffective payment and cake ordering mechanisms can cause invalid transaction data, because checking and recording data is done manually. In this study, a cake ordering system that is integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway will be developed to make it easier for store employees to manage orders and record transaction results. In addition, it will also make it easier for customers to pay for orders without having to send photos of proof of payment to store employees. In this research, a cake ordering system will be developed using the Laravel framework and integrated with the Midtrans payment gateway using the concept of Service Oriented Architecture. The test method used is usability testing using the System Usability Scale which obtained a final score of 74.13 which means the cake ordering system on the Acceptability Ranges assessment obtained an acceptable status based on a questionnaire survey of 20 respondents.

Abstract

Exactly on the 17th of November, 2019, a new virus was just revealed in China and then spread to the whole world. Our government imposed a large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) to reduce the spread of the virus. This pandemic is detrimental to all sectors, including MSMEs. According to a Bank Indonesia (BI) survey released in March 2021, around 87.5 percent of MSMEs in Indonesia were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, BI noted that there were 12.5% ​​who were not affected by the COVID-19 pandemic because the MSMEs were transforming with digitalization. Digitization can be started using digital marketing, but there are still many MSMEs who have not done digital marketing because of the lack of knowledge about doing digital marketing using social media, for example, YouTube. This research focuses on designing the user experience (UX) of the YouTube digital marketing learning application so that the system is made according to user needs. The method used is Human-Centered Design (HCD), which is a method of solving problems by involving a human perspective. This research will produce a high-fidelity prototype which will be tested using the heuristic evaluation method. There are 3 evaluators who are experts to conduct the test which resulted in 24 usability problem findings. The usability problem is categorized based on the severity rating and then corrected the problem.

Abstract

UD Sejahtera is an individual trading company that is engaged in the production and distribution of fine sea salt and sea salt. The company gets the supply of sea salt from suppliers, namely salt farmers, then distributes it to sellers. The production of fine sea salt is made from the result of the milling of sea salt. The problem related to salt marketing that occurs at the company is that the information of salt products cannot be accessed directly in the process of buying sea salt by customers. Another problem that the company faced is the ineffective data storage system. Sales reports, supply reports, and stock records are not up to date. If there is an error of data, it is necessary to check repeatedly against the documents that have been stored. Often the reporting is wrong and late, too much time of searching and adjusting the wrong data, as well as errors in recording the amount of remaining stock. This problem has the potential for losses to the company. This web-based system was built to overcome these problems. This system is expected to help the salt marketing process and record sales reports and supply reports. The process of developing this system is done using waterfall model. The stages performed in this research are literature review, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and conclusion. This system has been tested with unit, integration and validation testing.

Abstract

In the trade sector, transaction management is crucial because if transactions are not managed properly, they can cause considerable losses. This risk is also found in a shop called Tini Mart. Transaction management at these stalls is still traditional, such as providing prices by remembering the price of goods and manually calculating the total price and change. This method has many risks such as giving the wrong price, calculating the total price incorrectly, and giving the wrong amount of change. This can cause losses to the shop and decrease the confidence of buyers in the shop. Now there are several transaction management applications on the market that are freely available but are not suitable for use in Tini Mart. This is because there are functional requirements, such as debt management, and non-functional requirements, such as supporting the interface on a large screen and having a simple, easy-to-understand interface and navigation for users, which are still not met. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of developing applications that can meet the requirements that have not been met previously. This application development process model will use the waterfall. The application is built using the Laravel framework with the JavaScript and PHP programming languages. The test results state that all functional requirements of the application have been met because it has a 100% success rate and all non-functional requirements of the application have been met because after observations and interviews there were no obstacles and users can easily use the application.

Abstract

Cokelat Mesuji Batu is a Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the field of chocolate production and marketing located in Batu City, East Java Province. The management of SME needs to be managed with a good and correct system and management, including in the financial. Chocolate orders must use a pre-order system, therefore customers who want to order chocolate, first do the administration process before the production process. The problems with marketing management are promotions that do not reach the wider community by relying on social media such as Instagram and Facebook, the unaffordability of people who do not have an account on the media and the information submitted is not comprehensive. According to the above problems, the solution provided in solving it is the development of web-based management information systems. This web-based information system can reach people who do not use social media such as Facebook or Instagram. The software uses Javascript, NodeJS, ReactJS, MongoDB for its development, and BPMN (business process modelling notation) to describe its business flow. To ensure the system runs properly and correctly in the manufacture is done testing using a black box, white box for function testing, and compatibility to test the system can run in various browsers. The result of the test is that 100% of system functions can run and only on IE browsers that there are few major problems. In this testing phase, developers use several techniques including testing white box that is building a class of drivers to test several methods contained in the system, from the test results of the program code obtained the method of the function is by the expectations made by testers in the test case table. The black box test is to test the overall functional needs and obtained the results of all functions on the system is 100% declared valid according to the output. Compatibility testing is done by running the system in some browsers and there are only problems on the major site of the IE browser.

Abstract

E-commerce has recently been favored by both large and small businesses. This is because promotion through online media or digital marketing is easier to reach consumers in terms of introducing or selling their products so it is very helpful for business people. This study aims to determine the impact of using e-commerce on SMEs. Data collection for this study was carried out using a semi-structured interview method to MSME business actors who have used e-commerce to sell their products. From the interview data that has been carried out, then analyzed using the thematic analysis method, which is a method of analyzing data to identify patterns and find topics based on data collected by researchers (Braun and Clarke, 2006). The result is that several categories explain how MSMEs use e-commerce, namely individual features or individual abilities, reasons for not using other e-commerce than those currently used, several obstacles such as infrastructure, technology, promotion, and unpleasant experiences that experienced by MSME business actors when using e-commerce.
