Abstract

The development of internet technology in the form of social media is a social network which is an online community that can allow users to be connected to each other. Traditionally, a community is a social group consisting of organisms that share the same environment and have the same attraction. The problem examined in this study is that members in the community have not yet established a closeness that encourages members to meet directly. In the study using Self Disclosure Theory to help answer the formulation of the problem. The purpose of the study was to determine the closeness of members to encourage face-to-face meetings and to know the role of technology. Data was collected qualitatively to members of the online community using the interview method. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the coding analysis method which is included in the thematic analysis. The result of the research is the closeness of the members taken from the trust and intimacy factor according to the Self Disclosure theory. And the ease of the role of technology that creates the closeness of members. So that it can encourage members to meet in person.

Abstract

PSLD UB has Enablink service application which supports students with disabilities to get assistance during lecture activities at Brawijaya University. Currently, Enablink application has not separated lecture support schedule to exam support schedule, it leaves difficulties for the administrator to arrange the scheduling of both academic and exam supports. Some ineffective features, such as unclear licensing flows, mentoring scheduling only based on an empty companion schedule, searching for replacement supporter is done manually, and there is no notification feature so that information is often obtained through Whatsapp group. Therefore, this study aims to carry out further development of the Enablink application which can provide an exam support scheduling system and improve existing features. The system development is carried out using the rapid application development method with two iterations. The result of this research is a scheduling system for exam assistance. This study tested using a black box testing approach with validation testing and usability testing. The results of the validation test from 33 test scenarios show that the system runs as expected and functionally with 100% valid results, while the usability test gets a usability value of 78.33 (adjective rating good) using a usability scale system.

Abstract

The development of telecommunications towers every year experiences rapid development. One of them is the construction of towers in the Bondowoso area, according to data from the KOMINFO Service of Bondowoso Regency, there are 148 towers with 11 providers who have construction permits. This can increase the source of Regional Original Income (PAD) through tower levies. The local government wants the producing agency to be able to accelerate the digitization of transactions within the Bondowoso Regency Government as a form of expanding the implementation of the Regional Government Transaction Electronification (ETP) in 2021. So the purpose of this research is to provide a solution design in the form of designing a mobile-based tower levy payment application user experience so that can improve the tower levy management system. The application of the method in this study uses the Design Thinking method because it can solve quite complex problems and focuses on understanding user problems so that it can produce various solutive innovations. At the usability testing stage, 3 evaluators used the Heuristic Evaluation method. It was found that 17 usability problems were agreed upon with the most results being on the principle of heuristic number H2 (Match between system and the real world) and H6 (Recognition rather than recall), namely 5 problems with a percentage of 19.23%. While the average value of the highest severity rating is found on the principle of heuristic number H3 (User control and freedom) with a value of 3 and is included in the major category.

Abstract

Regional General Hospital is a health service institution owned by the local government. The services provided by hospitals are required to always make changes, so that the services can be in accordance with the expectations and needs of the community. Hospitals as one of the institutions that have the function of providing health services must of course be in accordance with predetermined standards. Regarding improving the quality of hospital services, the government as the main actor who plays a direct role both to be responsible and to plan, regulate, organize, foster, and supervise the implementation of improving the quality of health in this case through several public policy products has explicitly discussed and regulated everything related to achieving this. Based on the needs of hospitals in assessing public sentiment as an important point in the accreditation process of hospitals, it is necessary to analyze the sentiments of public opinion towards hospitals. To perform sentiment analysis, the method used in this research is Support Vector Machine and word weighting uses Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency. Testing using Cross Validation with 132 training data and 33 test data resulted in an accuracy value of 88% and recall of 87.5%, precision of 90% and f-measure of 87.5%. This value is obtained when using the parameters C=1 and Itermax=1000.

Abstract

The increase in the number of E-commerce retail users is currently growing very rapidly coupled with the effects of the covid-19 outbreak which has made the number of users increase. Therefore, an automation system is needed to help support the improvement of the E-commerce business that can perform tasks efficiently without the need to increase production costs. This system will use the camera to identify objects with images but this image will have noise that affects the identification process. The results of taking pictures of the object will be processed by the Raspberry Pi4 with an Unsharp filter to eliminate noise, then the process of identifying information data from the QR code on the object and determining the initial coordinates of the object will be carried out. The results of this data will later be forwarded to OpenCM to move the manipulator robot using the Inverse Kinematics function. In addition, this system will also send information data to the database for data storage. The use of the Unsharp Filter and QR Code methods in this system produces an accuracy value of 100% with a computation time of 801 ms in 40 times of object reading testing. As for the inverse method, this system has an error of 9.12% to reach the coordinates in 10 times of testing. And to move an object the system requires a computation time of 11 seconds for each type of object for scanning, moving, and storing information from the object.

Abstract

Toko Indah Elektronik is a store that runs a business in the electronics sector, domiciled in Medan, North Sumatra. Not only selling electronic goods, this shop also provides repair services for electronic goods such as washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, and others. Currently, Indah Elektronik store wants to improve service and work efficiency in terms of time and energy. This is done because as the store develops, the current business processes cause problems such as a lack of work efficiency in terms of time and effort. This happens because of the management and archiving of sales transaction data, the management of goods is not good. On the other hand, archiving sales data that is not good causes problems with financial records, sometimes there are some sales that are not recorded, so it is not known exactly how much income and expenses each month from the existing archives. Therefore, to improve the services in the store and efforts to solve existing problems, a web-based electronic store management information system was created by applying the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern with the main feature being to facilitate the sales transaction process, management goods, recording sales and financial transactions. The system development process uses the waterfall development model. Implementation of the system developed using the Laravel framework. The developed system has been tested using unit testing, integration, validation and compatibility strategies to produce values with valid status.

Abstract

The presence of the COVID-19 pandemic has recently changed the way humans work in various fields of work, especially for office workers. This phenomenon makes many companies take full advantage of information technology and the internet in their work environment. This provides comfort for humans to cause various problems, one of which is cyberloafing behavior. In this case, company managers need to consider the impact received from cyberloafing behavior in the work environment. This study aims to investigate more deeply the cyberloafing behavior of workers' use of information technology and the internet. This research hopes that it can contribute to the risk of adopting information technology and the internet into the process of designing a work environment in the field of Information Systems. The results of the study prove that the occurrence of cyberloafing activities is determined by the desire and need for rest at work and the occurrence of this behavior can be influenced by rules and reactions from the company. Then, cyberloafing behavior is also carried out at the same time and is carried out repeatedly, or under certain conditions if the conditions experienced by employees are met. In addition, the employee's view of cyberloafing behavior also has positive or negative values ​​depending on whether it is carried out according to the portion or not, if this behavior is carried out excessively it can have a negative impact on employees and the company.

Abstract

PKL (Field Work Practice) is an activity to provide work experience to students. In its implementation there are three stages, namely registration, placement, and reporting. At the registration stage, the time spent is relatively long. This is due to the large number of students. At the placement stage, the head of the department must collect student data and place students according to the city allowed by each student's parents, this also takes quite a long time. In addition, at the reporting stage, the reporting document has a risk if at any time the document is lost or damaged. Therefore, this research offers a solution to these problems. The development of the Vocational High School Field Work Practice Management System is based on a case study at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. System development begins with the requirements engineering stage to testing and implementing an object-oriented approach. In this development there is one non-functional requirement and 46 functional requirements in requirements engineering. Implementation of the system using the help of the Laravel framework. The unit test got an average V(G) result of 2 paths, and the validation test got 100% valid results, and the system Compatibility test managed to run the system smoothly on Firefox, Opera, safari, chrome, iOS, android, IE, and browsers. Edge. In the next research, it is recommended to implement it in the form of a Mobile App and improve system security.

Abstract

Big Pandemic Covid-19, In ​​Indonesia Deaths due to the Covid-19 virus up to 144,000 thousand people. One of the causes of the high number of deaths due to Covid-19 cases is the lack of prompt treatment for patients affected by Covid-19 in the cytokine storm phase. Cytokine Storm is a condition in which the release of mal-adaptive cytokines is “out of control” in response to infection and stimuli. Cytokine storms attack lung tissue and blood vessels. In this study, a system consisting of several components was used, namely, Arduino Mega 2560 Rev 3 as a microcontroller board, NTC Thermistor Sensor as a breathing signal generator mounted on an oxygen mask and an OLED display to display the output in the form of "Normal" or "Abnormal". This system uses the Min, Max, Amplitude, Interval and Breath Rate features per 4 cycles of 4 cycles which are then classified using the Support Vector Machine. In system testing related to testing the accuracy of the classification results using the Support Vector Machine, it was carried out 12 times to find the class of the test data obtained and the accuracy level of the classification results with SVM was 91.66. In the computational testing of the system, the classification was carried out 12 times to get the class classification results from the test data and the average computation time was 29.29 ms.

Abstract

In this study, the aim of this research is to design the adaptation of the movement of the wheeled robot using the fuzzy method. In this wheeled robot, there are 3 ultrasonic sensors input and 2 DC motor output. These inputs and outputs will be used as variables for the fuzzy method. This input variable consists of sensor (left), sensor (front) and sensor (right), each of which has 2 sets of membership functions, namely near and far. This output variable consists of a DC motor (right) and a DC motor (left), each of which has 2 sets of membership functions, namely slow and fast. The number of if-then rules in the fuzzy method used is 8 rules. The test was carried out as many as 3 experiments on the movement of the wheeled robot, namely moving straight, moving to turn right and moving to turn left. This test succeeded in proving that the fuzzy method can control the movement of the wheeled robot.
