Abstract

The Pandemic of COVID-19, which is a new type of virus, has brought so many changes in any aspects of people's life. The era of pandemic causes everyone to need the latest information. Various sources of digital media can be accessed by everyone to get information. One of the media to get information is Social Networking Service (SNS). The high flow of information that cannot be controlled in SNS causes Information Overload for the users. Information Overload is a condition where the user cannot process the information contained in the SNS because too much information available. The aim of this study is to determine whether Information Overload has an effect on SNS Exhaustion and whether SNS Exhaustion has a positive effect on Discontinuous Usage Of SNS. The technique of data collection in this study is a survey. Data processing in this study using Structural Equation Modeling Covarianced Based (SEM-CB). The use of SEM is to test the relationship between variables. SEM-CB is used to confirm the existing theory from the references of this study. The sample need for this research is the users of SNS who have read informations about COVID-19. From the survey, the sample data obtained in this study were 332 SNS users. The result of this study indicate that Information Overload has an impact on SNS Exhaustion and SNS Exhaustion has an Impact on Discontinuous Usage Of SNS.

Abstract

Lua Kreatif Teknologi Inc. is a technology company that focuses on software development. Lua Inc. currently requires an independent project management information system that focuses on the needs of project monitoring and helpdesk, which runs during the project executing and monitoring & controlling phases and during after sales. Therefore, this study describes the development of a web-based information system based on the needs of Lua Inc. This information system development model applies the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) waterfall and uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) for its design. The results of the needs analysis for the development of this information system produce a context for using the system which has 47 functional requirements and 5 non-functional requirements. There are adjustments for running business processes (as-is) with those offered (to-be) through an information system that is built and modeled with BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation). The system implementation process implements a single page application architecture that communicates between the client (React.js) and server (Node.js) using the HTTP protocol without any reloading on the client. The testing method uses black-box testing by conducting validation tests on the functional system and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) which will be tested on stakeholders at Lua Kreatif Teknologi Inc.

Abstract

Digital technology that continues to develop has an impact on increasing smartphone users in Indonesia due to the ease of use. Based on the Ministry of Communication and Information data, smartphone users in Indonesia reached 167 million people, or 89% of the total population this year. The development of digital technology coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic is an essential factor that encourages MSME entrepreneurs to make adjustments. When marketing products digitally, photo and video processing is one thing that needs to be considered. The use of smartphones can be an easy and right choice for MSME entrepreneurs in processing photos and videos of their products or services to increase consumer interest. However, it is not uncommon for MSME entrepreneurs to experience difficulties when processing photos and videos of their products. So in this research, user experience design is carried out to help MSME entrepreneurs utilize their smartphones to optimize their products' photo and video quality. The method used in this research is the Human-Centered Design method because this method is generally used to develop interactive systems that suit user needs by considering user conditions. The final result of this research is a high-fidelity prototype used to test usability and user experience. The usability test results obtained are 85.71% on the effectiveness aspect using the completion rate metric, 0.059 goals/sec on the efficiency aspect using the time-based efficiency metric, and 84.5, which includes grade B, adjective rating Excellent, an acceptable category on the satisfaction aspect using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. While the results of user experience testing using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) show a value of 2.09 for the attractiveness aspect, 1.93 for the perspicuity aspect, 1.94 for the efficiency aspect, 1.66 for the dependability aspect, 2.04 for the stimulation aspect, and 1.54 for the novelty aspect.

Abstract

Google Meet and Zoom are video conferencing applications that are widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic as an alternative in conducting online activities. Both have differences in features and appearance which certainly make the user experience different. According to this, a study was conducted to compare the long-term user experience on the Google Meet and Zoom applications using the UX Curve method. There are 10 respondents for each application who are active students in the organization. Respondents describe their experiences in a UX curve template with 5 dimensions or points of view: general UX, attractiveness, ease of use, utility, and degree of use. Based on data collection, 50 curves were obtained for each Google Meet and Zoom application. The number of improving curve tendencies generated against Google Meet is more than Zoom, but on the other hand the curve is deteriorating and stable. This shows that Google Meet users are more satisfied with Google Meet, compared to Zoom users towards Zoom itself. This is supported by the percentage of positive reasons obtained for Google Meet, which is 75.2%, while for Zoom it is 73.6%. In addition, the Zoom application is proven to leave more impressions and experiences for users with a greater number of user reasons than Google Meet.

Abstract

MAN Sidoarjo is the only Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Sidoarjo Regency that utilizes the e-learning website as a medium to support online learning activities for the success of their student learning activities even from home. As the only public madrasah aliyah in Sidoarjo, it is important to maintain the quality of quality education services as a form of supervision of education quality assurance so that evaluation or measurement of services is needed which until now has never been implemented. There were several complaints submitted by students regarding the e-learning website such as an unattractive appearance, providing less up-to-date information, to the layout of information that confuses users. The complaints that have been submitted have encouraged researchers to research the quality of e-learning website services. The quality of e-learning website services is measured using Webqual 4.0 and Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). Webqual 4.0 can be used to determine whether the quality of the current website performance has met the expectations of users based on the three dimensions of Webqual 4.0 including the dimensions of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. Then the Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) method is used to determine the priority of improvement on which attributes and dimensions are the main focus for improvement. The measurement results from 102 respondents found that 5 statement attributes that are included in the priority level for major improvements are clear and easy to understand interactions, easy to navigate, have an attractive and attractive appearance, provide sufficient detailed information, and appropriate layout information. Then 5 statement attributes are included in the low priority level, namely, the information provided can increase knowledge, the layout of the information is arranged correctly, the information is up to date, it is easy to attract the attention of students and communicate with the teacher. For other attributes, they already have a good level of performance to have excessive-quality so that it is sufficient to maintain the quality service provided.

Abstract

Reporting activities are activities that are commonly found in various agencies, both government agencies, and central agencies. The school reports on school data and student data, which is then sent and recapitulated by the Coordinator for Education and Culture of the Bareng sub-district. The reporting process still uses a manual system, there is no overall system integration. We need a system that can facilitate the reporting process and make monthly recordings that can also provide convenience in managing reporting. Therefore, research was conducted on the Development of a Web-Based Reporting Information System at the Education and Culture Coordinator of the Bareng District. The development of this information system is carried out using the waterfall development method which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing and is developed on a web-based basis. The results of this study obtained 2 actors with 14 functional needs and 1 non-functional need. This system has been tested API using postman, validation testing using the black box method and compatibility testing. In this test, validation tests are carried out on all functional requirements that provide valid results and system compatibility testing can be run well on various browsers and platforms.

Abstract

Films were originally live images or moving photos forcing the viewer to see continuous motion between different objects quickly and successively. The world of cinema is currently increasingly being embellished with technological advances, so that public interest in watching films is also increasing. Before launching a new film, the film industry always provides a brief description first in the form of writing how the story of the film is called a synopsis. Searching a synopsis of a film that is done manually takes a long time because of the large amount of data available on social networks. This makes it difficult for users to find the most relevant synopsis to what they are looking for. The information retrieval system for the film synopsis is used to meet the needs of users in searching for information from a document. One of the document ranking methods that can be used for information retrieval is the BM25F method. Testing was performed on BM25F independent parameters. The best value in the precision@k and r-precision tests on 300 film synopsis documents against 6 queries using the free parameter BM25F, the best combination of boost values obtained in the boost variable test is in the title field = 5 and content = 1, the best bc value from bc variable testing is 0.75, and the best k1 value from the results of k1 variable testing is 1.2. The best average value for precision@k is 0.93 and for the best results in the r-precision test, the value is 1.

Abstract

Regulation of calories that enter the body is one way to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, daily calorie regulation is very important to maintain health and lead a healthy life. However, based on the results of the Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) in 2018 it shows that the nutritional status of Indonesian people still does not meet the standards. To avoid diseases that arise due to unbalanced nutrition, it is necessary to adjust a good and correct diet. Automatic calorie regulaton can be implemented in smartphones that make it easier for individuals both in term of practicality and mobility. In this study, the development of a daily calorie control application, namely Foodivore, is an android-based application that can help regulate the amount of daily calorie consumption. Foodivore has several features such as scanning food, managing consumption plans, and getting information about health. Foodivore uses Tensorflow technology which allows applications to identify an object based on an artificial intelligence model. The method used in the development of the Foodivore system is Kanban Agile due to changing needs and speed in delivering applications. The usability test results have a value of 85 which categorizes the application as an application with a good level of use. In addition, unit testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) tests show a 100% success rate of each test which concludes that the application is running well.

He Office of Education and Culture of the City of Pasuruan City is an element of the implementation of the Pasuruan City Regional Government in providing services in the field of Education and Culture of the City of Pasuruan which are required to improve services. So far, manual reporting is time-consuming and labor- intensive. Based on these problems, it is necessary to integrate information system data with web-based population data, as well as the development of this system using the waterfall model method where the system is tested using the Validation Testing method. , design, implementation and testing of systems. Abstract

Watermelon in Latin Citrullus lanatus is a fruit with green skin characteristics with red or yellow arrays and flesh color. Watermelon is a type of fruit favored by the people of Indonesia. The high market demand for watermelon must be balanced with watermelon production. which continues to increase as well. Watermelon that has been harvested needs handling to classify the quality of watermelon on the market, one of which is the classification of watermelon sweetness. Measuring the size of the sweetness of watermelons can be destructively using the Brix refractometer, but this is not practical because you have to split the fruit first. Therefore, an innovation is needed to detect watermelon sweetness with digital image processing. In this study the sweetness of watermelon will be divided into 3 classes, namely low, average and high. This study uses the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix method for feature extraction using 6 features, namely Dissimilarity, Homogeneity, Contrast, Correlation, Energy, and Angular Second Moment (ASM) with values ​​of d= 1, 2, 3 and angle = 0°. , 45°, 90°, and 135°. For sweetness class classification using Backpropagation Neural Network method. In Epoch and learning rate testing, the best training accuracy is 86% at Epoch 12,000 and learning rate is 0.01 with values ​​d=1 and = 0°. Then the best value is used in the system integration test and the highest accuracy is obtained, namely 85.7% at a distance of 15cm and the average computation time required is 10.05997 seconds.
