Abstract

One of the efforts made to suppress the spread of the corona virus in crowded places such as cafes is by checking body temperature and limiting the number of visitors according to PPKM regulations in the Java-Bali area. However, the body temperature parameter is not accurate enough to detect suspected Covid-19 symptoms and the calculation of visitor capacity is still not effective, which is still done manually. In addition, control over the cafe entrance is also needed considering the number of visitors coming or going. This study aims to develop a Covid-19 symptom measurement system using three parameters, namely body temperature, blood oxygen saturation and respiratory frequency using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method to classify visitors into healthy and symptomatic classes. The system also provides output in the form of sound, information on the number of visitor capacities, and the application of miniature doorstops using a servo motor that moves according to the classification results. Tests of each sensor resulted in a very good average accuracy. The measurement of body temperature with the MLX90614 sensor is 99.26%, the measurement of oxygen saturation with the MAX30100 sensor is 98.95, the breath frequency measurement with the sound sensor reaches 100%, and the visitor capacity counter with the PIR sensor is 100%. Classification using the SVM method produces an average accuracy of 100% with an average computation time of 131.6 s. In addition, the output in the form of sound and movement from the miniature doorstop can work as expected.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, all universities conducted online teaching and learning activities using online communication media. The purpose of this study is to explore in depth what are the uses of online communication media in Brawijaya University students and the influence of using online communication media on group work participation by Brawijaya University students. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods with semi-structured interview data collection techniques and analyzed using thematic analysis methods. In the thematic analysis method, there are six stages, namely (1) Understanding the data, (2) Creating codes, (3) Searching for themes, (4) Reviewing themes, (5) Defining and naming themes, and (6) Making analysis results. . After the researchers got the findings from the results of the analysis that had been done, the researchers conducted a research quality test to determine the quality of the results of the research made. In the research quality test, this study met two parameters, namely the depandability test and the confimability test. Based on interviews conducted by researchers, they found that the use of online communication media by Brawijaya University students was mainly for group work activities as Discussion and Tasks. As for the participation itself, online communication media have an impact on the participation, activeness, and motivation of students in conducting online group work activities.

Abstract

The development of startup-type businesses in Indonesia is currently quite fast, especially since 2018. This type of startup business has begun to grow along with technological advances that have also triggered disruptive technology in the business sector. Currently, we meet many new businesses that utilize technology which is now known as e-business. Like any business in general, there are factors that affect the running of the business or even affect someone entering the business sector. The purpose of this research is to analyzing factors that influence a person's interest in establishing a startup business. The scope of this research includes 200 Brawijaya University students as respondents in data collection, where based on this data will be investigated the influence of Individualism, Perceived Familiarity, and Perceived Social Value factors on Startup Intentions in students. In this study, online questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument, then the PLS-SEM was used as a data analyzing method that had been obtained. Based on this analysis, it is known that majority respondents agree with the statements submitted through the questionnaire, because the average results obtained on a scale of 4 out of 5 for each statement. Furthermore, based on the hypothesis test results, it is known that each of the individualism, perceived familiarity, and perceived social value factors has a significant and positive influence both partially and simultaneously on student startup intentions.

Abstract

In Indonesia, one of the most common health problems is obesity. Obesity is a condition where there is an excess amount of fat in the body. The attempt to do in overcoming obesity is applying a healthy lifestyle (a balanced exercise and diet). However, there is interference in implementing a healthy lifestyle especially in the healthy diet which is the lack of knowledge in measuring the daily nutritional needs. Therefore one of the ways to look for information is surfing internet which is less efficient and has a less attractive display. Therefore, the author made an innovation, EZ-Health application which can be implemented on the android platform with the Model View Presenter (MVP) development architecture. The main features of the EZ-Health application are to calculate daily calorie needs and to detect the type of food and its nutrition by utilizing Object Detection technology. Object Detection is one of Computer Vision technology that allows us to identify and discover objects in images or videos. For testing the EZ-Health application, the results obtained are: all functionality can run normally and comply the health aspect in the validation test. In testing the system accuracy with 10 foods set, the accuracy results obtained is 88%. Then in the Usability test using the SUS (System Usability Scale) method which involved 5 respondents, the EZ-Health application got a score of 76 with a Good, Acceptable, Passive interpretation scale. And lastly, in Compatibility testing carried out on 4 devices with Android api version 26 and above, all functionality in the application can work normally.

Abstract

Sepatu Bersih is a service provider that focuses on shoe washing and treatment has a website platform at www.sepatubersih.com which help their customer check the status of service provided about their shoe's treatment order. The platform itself currently considered less effective and it's hoped that the presence of other platform such as mobile apps can help with the shortcomings that existed in the previous platform. Goal-Directed Design (GDD) it's a method that can provide a solution for this case. In making the application, its necessary to research the users and stakeholder, especially the user interface before the application is made so that later the right application is in accordance within the goals or desires of Sepatu Bersih. Goal-Directed Design has 6 stages in its application, the first one is research to get input from users and stakeholders in the form of problems and expectations. The second one is modeling which provides personas and an overview of user and stakeholders, requirements is the third stage that will describe the needs of users. The fourth stage is a making framework that will provide a blueprint of the interface according to input from both users and stakeholders to be designed. The fifth stage is refinement which will enable to produce a high-fidelity prototype that will be tested and analyzed and later at the last stage which is support. The final evaluation here uses System Usability Scale (SUS) Questionnaire. After the design is done developed using Goal-Directed Design method. The final average value of the System Usability Scale is that the average value of the SUS score is 74, with an Acceptability value above 73 and also gets a Grade Scale in category C category, Adjective Rating is in the Good category.

Abstract

COVID-19 spreads rapidly which affects various sectors and one of them is the education sector, previously people came to campus for offline learning but nowadays it becomes online learning. The Ministry of Education and Culture stated as in the announcement to implement a hybrid learning policy. One of the universities that implement this hybrid learning is Muhammadiyah Gresik University. The research is done by using a qualitative research method to understand the process of hybrid learning and the problems encountered during the hybrid learning from the exploration that has done. The exploration is done by using semi-structured interview data collection techniques. The results of interviews with nine interviewees then transcribed and analyzed with thematic analysis to get the suitable themes and categories. From the research analysis results, the students were found not familiar enough with this hybrid learning because it was online learning before, so needed to do hybrid learning exploration to knowing how hybrid is implemented, what problems they faced, and what solution that they doing. There are many problems faced by the students in carrying out the hybrid learning for the first time, like being late for attendance because there was no notification and feel bored while attending lectures so that make sleepy. There was some solution to deal with it, such as asking friends and lecturers for help to solving the problems.

Abstract

One of the efforts to realize a clean and good government is by reporting the performance accountability of government agencies. The report was also carried out at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. The Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Computer Science has the responsibility for making the report. The quality assurance team had many problems when making the report. At this time for the manufacture of the report is done using Microsoft Excel with more than 40 sheets. It is not surprising that when the data processing is carried out errors occur such as entering the wrong data or accidentally deleting data. In addition, it is necessary to carry out data processing to find out that the data entered has met the achievement target or not. The current data collection is still done manually by taking data from several fields, so if there is a change in the data from these fields, it is necessary to re-collect the data. Therefore, the authors conducted research by developing an application of a government agency performance accountability system at the scope of the computer science faculty to assist the quality assurance group in preparing government agency performance reports. Website-based applications. The application development method used is the waterfall. This method is very suitable to be used when developing applications whose needs are clear. Based on the results of the needs analysis, there are 428 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. This application is developed using Laravel and Bootstrap framework. In the validation test using black box, the test results are 100% valid. In usability testing using the usability scale system, the results obtained an average score of 70.625 so that it is classified as acceptable. In addition, the compatibility test results that the application can be used on a browser that meets non-functional requirements.

Abstract

The transporter robot is one of the uses of wheeled robots to help activities in the industrial world. The use of robots carrying goods in the industrial world, especially in the logistics industry, is very much needed because robots can move and sort goods quickly and accurately and compete in warehouse automation to remain competitive and reduce costs. The design of the cargo carrier robot in this study will be based on a line follower robot that can read a Quick Response (QR) code. This system will be built using an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as the main control with input coming from the gm66 sensor as a QR code reading contained in an object that is useful for determining the path planning chosen by the robot in deciding the direction to achieve the goal and the HYS301 line sensor as line detection on the track. This system uses PID control to stabilize the robot's motion when moving on a line and uses a path planning algorithm to determine the direction to be traversed by the robot. The test results on the gm66 sensor show that the ideal distance of sensor reading is at a minimum distance of 15cm, while the optimal reading distance for the HYS301 line sensor is at a distance of 3mm from the floor surface. The PID parameter values ​​obtained so the robot can move in a straight line are Kp = 3, Kd = 0.5, and Ki = 0.7. The time it takes to reach the rise time is around 0.2 seconds, and the time it takes to reach the settling time is 0.69 seconds. The path planning algorithm used is the same as the direction of the robot's motion when it is run. The accuracy results when using the first, second, and third path planning from the tests carried out have a value of 100% each.

Abstract

Micro Air Vehicle Link or commonly called MAVLink is a communication protocol for UAVs. A document, namely ISO 12100 and ISO 13849 summarized by (Allouch, et al., 2019) states that the MAVLink protocol is a UAV communication protocol that is vulnerable to attacks. The MAVLink protocol vulnerability is known because it does not have a security system support from the confidentiality aspect. To reduce this security risk, it is necessary to make efforts to secure the MAVLink protocol using cryptographic methods to ensure the security of the aspects mentioned above. In this study the Grain-128 cryptographic algorithm was chosen because of its ability to work on low-power devices. In addition to the implementation of the Grain-128 cryptographic algorithm, a security strategy is also implemented, one of which is the IV update system. The purpose of implementing the Grain-128 algorithm and its security strategy is to provide adequate protection for data on the MAVLink protocol. Thus the MAVLink protocol that has been implemented by the security system is resistant to passive attacks and even active attacks.

Abstract

SSS Snack Agent is a small business engaged in the wholesale trade of snacks and beverages. Currently, the recording of inventory and sales transactions is still done manually, resulting in limited access to information and the risk of miscalculation or recording. In addition, checking expired goods is quite difficult for employees because there is no record of the expiration date of goods when received from distributors. In response to these problems, the solution offered is to develop an inventory information system and sales transactions to make it easier for employees to solve problems related to recording inventory and sales transactions, as well as checking expired goods. The system will be developed with a waterfall on a web system with codeigniter framework based on the PHP programming language. The steps taken include needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of the validation test get 100% valid results from 11 test cases. For the results of the user acceptance testing (UAT), the test was carried out on three actors. First, the owner actor with a UAT percentage value of 81%; second, the cashier actor with a UAT percentage value of 82.5%; and finally, the warehouse staff actor with a UAT percentage value of 84%.
