Abstract

The DPMPTSP website is a medium for disseminating information related to investment potential and also the regulations used by DPMPTSP Prov. West Sumatra. Since it was first created, namely in 2017 the DPMPTSP website has never been evaluated and when it was evaluated for the first time by researchers using the User experience questionnaire (UEQ) which was distributed to 25 respondents with a purposive sample technique, the DPMPTSP website received an average value of 0.191 where all aspects of the benchmark gets a Bad score. Human centered design (HCD) approach is used in the design process. HCD is used to find out problems in the system and how to overcome these problems which involves a human perspective at each stage by focusing on the user and producing recommendations for design improvements to the user interface design. Wireframe and high-fidelity prototype are designs resulting from this research. After improving the user interface design, the test was carried out again using UEQ with the same number of respondents, namely 25 people and got a good response which got an average score of 1,800 where all aspects of the Benchmark got an Excellent score

Abstract

Tourism is a field that has bright business prospects, this can be seen by the increasing number of foreign and domestic tourists visiting many tourist objects in Indonesia. CV. Maha Cipta Wisata is a company engaged in tour & travel. provides various types of tourism packages, industrial visits, family gatherings, hotels, and buses. However, conventional hotel sales and marketing method is by ordering and paying via whatsapp. The transaction creates a loophole, because it can allow errors in uploading payments and must be checked for validation first by the admin. Based on the existing problems, a dynamic web-based tour package booking information system is needed that has payment gateways. It is hoped that with this integration, consumers can choose many payment method options and can increase consumer confidence because facilitator in making payments. Method of developing an information system using prototype is a development that saves time and costs without compromising product quality. While at the implementation stage using Laravel framework. Results of the development of a web-based travel agency information system using payment gateways and booking tour packages (case : CV. Maha Cipta Wisata) can help manage sales such as hotels and tour packages, in addition to the existence of a payment gateway providing various payment methods so that consumers get freedom in choosing payment methods. And black box testing is 100% valid. while compatibility using the sortsite works well.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the most significant component of waste based on waste sources comes from household waste. Based on the problems that exist in the Juanda Harapan Permai housing, there are still many residents who have difficulty managing waste. In addition, the ease of interface in an application design becomes an important factor for a good user experience. Therefore we need an interface solution for a platform that is flexible and can be accessed anywhere. This study designed an interface for the MyGarbage waste management application using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method. In interface design, research results are obtained through wireframe, high fidelity, and prototype design. The results of the usability testing get results from the effectiveness aspect using the success rate metric of 88.67%, the results from the efficiency aspect using the Overall Relative Efficiency metric of 100%. The results from the satisfaction aspect using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method an average of 72,5 with Good and High Acceptable categories. The results of the evaluation of user experience using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), the attractiveness scale results in the Excellent category, the clarity scale in the Above Average category, the efficiency scale in the good category, the accuracy scale in the excellent category, the stimulation scale in the Excellent category, and the novelty scale in the good category. In the future, for further research, the application interface design is continued into coding stage.

Abstract

The good and efficient learning execution was the challenging for a teacher to do so actually to educating at vocational high school. It is because the student that were on vocational high school was be prepared to be able to work after graduating. And then to facilitate them to having a good learning outcomes and learning experience that they were expected to, so they need any education method or model that will be implemented on the class. This experiment will be more focused on use the resitation education method based on flipped-classroom education model within using Quasy-Experimental on Non-equivalent group kind. The execution of this experiment was to know the impact of using any education method or model on a experiment class compared to the other experiment class. When executing this experiment was found that learning outcomes that student received there is a difference that was showed with implementing t-test and there is an impact about using this education method and model that was showed by using N-Gain test, so the impact of experiment will be shown whether it is good or not to using the resitation education method based on flipped-classroom education model. From the calculation that has been done we can know that implementation of resitation education method based on flipped-classroom model has an impact compared by inquiry education method by 56.07% difference, so we can conclude that using this treatment can be categorized as Sufficiently Effective and can be implemented again by other teacher on the future class.

Abstract

Scientific conference activities are a place for researchers to collect and share their research results. Scientific conference activities are beneficial for the participating participants, where they can get a lot of information about the research methods used to solve a problem. Because there are so many participating writers, reviewers and editors involved, proper management is needed to facilitate all participants in the conference activities. For this reason, it is necessary to design a system that can facilitate the services provided to participants so that they can follow the scientific conference process properly. One of the design methods that can be used is user-centered design. User-centred design is a user-centred design evaluation, focuses on the user and the overall user experience and involves the user throughout the design development process. The results of the design evaluation have been measured using usability testing which focuses on the aspects of effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. The results of the effectiveness evaluation get a percentage of 97.8%. The percentage of efficiency is 97.8% and the user satisfaction aspect score is 72.5 and is included in class C which has a high acceptable level.

Abstract

Lake Toba is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia and is designated as one of the five developments of the National Tourism Strategic Area which is the government's super priority program in tourism development in Indonesia. Therefore, Lake Toba tourism managers need to know the perspective of visitors as evaluation material. Data acquisition of visitor reviews of Lake Toba attractions can be easily obtained through the Tripadvisor website using web scraping techniques. Reviews from Tripadvisor will be categorized into three classes, namely positive, neutral and negative. Before doing the classification, do text preprocessing to process the data into more structured data for research needs and carry out word weighting using the Term Frequency - Inverse Document method. Then the classification is carried out using the Support vector Machine algorithm. The best results in testing using the Support vector Machine algorithm are testing on 2 sentiment classes with a total of 220 data, using a linear kernel and a C value of 100. Accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score values ​​in this machine learning model are successively were 83%, 84%, 83%, and 83%.

Abstract

The Batu City Communication and Information Service is a new agency established in 2017. Currently, the Communication and Information Service has 4 fields, one of which is the field of ICT Infrastructure Network and Application. At a new age, the Communication and Information Service still has to make many improvements. One of them is in terms of business processes. To make improvements, an evaluation must be carried out first to find out the location of the shortcomings. To conduct the evaluation, the methods that the author will use are the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method and 5 Whys Analysis. QEF is a suitable method to evaluate this study. Meanwhile, 5 Whys Analysis is a method introduced and used by toyota corporations to conduct an in-depth analysis of the systems they have. There are 8 business processes evaluated in this study. Of the 8 business processes evaluated, there are 12 quality factors written in Q1 to Q12. Of the 12 quality factors tested, there are 2 quality factors that have values that are not in accordance with the target.

Abstract

Many office employees who live in Cikoko sub-district, Pancoran, stay in boarding rooms. Kos Bu Parjo is one of those that provides boarding rooms. Kos Bu Parjo still does the bookkeeping without a digital backup. The bookkeeping cannot be accessed when the notebook is not within reach, missing, exposed to water, or if a natural disaster occurs. To solve that problem, an Android application using Flutter framework and Firebase with Human-Centered Design method is developed. The main features of the app are occupant management, financial records, building management, room management, business management's account management, and backup and restore. The application went through validation testing with black box, usability testing with system usability scale, compatibility testing, and availability testing. Validation testing reveals that the application successfully fulfilled all 51 specified functional requirements, usability testing from 5 test subjects reveals the application is acceptable with an overall score of 77.75, compatibility testing reveals that the application successfully fulfilled the used Android version requirement, and availability testing reveals that the application's data recording features are operational even while offline.
