Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the movement of people in their daily activities, so it is necessary to make some adaptations, especially in the work system. Besides that, the Covid-19 pandemic also has accelerated digital transformations, especially in the industrial and corporate sectors. Many companies are currently implementing a remote work system or commonly known as Work From Anywhere (WFA). The existence of this remote work system can also increase employee work productivity. There are various factors that affect employee work productivity, especially in the application of the WFA work system. This study aims to determine the role of educational level and the use of communication platforms in supporting employee productivity during the WFA period. This study uses mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) or commonly known as the mix method with an exploratory sequential design approach. Data collection was carried out to WFA employees through semi-structured interviews with 10 informants and a survey by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents. Further analysis was carried out using thematic analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, one-way ANOVA test, and multiple linear regression methods. The results of this study is that the level of education does not directly affect the productivity of WFA employees. However, the knowledge gained at the educational level can support employee work productivity during the WFA period. Meanwhile, the communication platform has proved to be an important role in supporting employee productivity in the WFA work system.

Abstract

Emotions greatly affect individual behavior and stress refer to physiological responses that occur when individuals fail to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats. For this reason, it is important to know a person's mental stress, so that further action can be taken, so as not to have a serious impact on physical and mental health. Using the decision tree method with HR and GSR features to detect stres is useful because this method is able to handle data that is not well structured and provides an easily understood visual representation of the decision making process. In addition, HR and GSR features can provide useful information about a person's physical state that can be used to identify stress levels. From the results of system testing with MAX30102 and GSR sensors The accuracy of reading MAX30102 and GSR sensors is seen from the accuracy of the level stress results displayed and the value of the respondent questionnaire results. Stres detection systems through the heart rate and sweat glands have an accuracy of 98.5% while for the average system computing time needed to detect stress of 36802.83 ms or 36.80 seconds. The accuracy results were obtained by testing 24 respondents.

Abstract

To help develop a business, digital marketing becomes one of the commonly used business strategies. In digital marketing, creativity is an important factor which leads to an increase in demand for creative industry services. However, there are problems faced by service providers (freelancers) and service seekers (business owners) in finding and searching for service providers according to their needs and prices, the lack of available service providers to be partners, the lack of options from service providers, the lack of transparency in the service execution process, the time of execution not in accordance with the agreement, and communication problems that cause results that do not meet expectations. Therefore, the design of a user experience application for a mobile-based creative service marketplace is carried out using the design thinking method to help developers solve these problems. Design thinking is used as a method in this design, consisting of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In the testing stage, for usability testing, task scenarios and Single Ease Question (SEQ) are used to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. With an effectiveness of 94.4%, efficiency of 91.4%, and satisfaction of more than 6.2. User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is used to test interaction with the given solution design.

Abstract

A home is a place to return to, rest, and take shelter. Most people spend a large portion of their time at home. The amount of time we spend in our homes makes it important for us to pay attention to the health conditions of our home. A home that is not well-maintained can become a breeding ground for diseases. The solution that I propose is to create a system that can determine a home's health score and also measure the criteria in each room. The system that I have created uses a Artificial Neural Network algorithm and an ESP-32 microcontroller as the processor unit. The system will take in features captured by each sensor, including light intensity (BH1750), air temperature (DHT11), air humidity (DHT11), and carbon monoxide levels in the air (MQ-7). The results of the algorithm and measurements will be displayed on a 20x4 LCD screen, showing the measured features, the obtained score, and the confidence of the classification. The training data used in this system consists of a total of 345 data from 4 classes, with each class consisting of approximately 80 data. The testing was carried out in rooms in a volunteer's home, with a total of 20 rooms. The results of the testing show that 18 were correct and 2 were incorrect, resulting in a system accuracy of 90% with an average computation time of 0.148 seconds.

Abstract

Student performance in post-pandemic conditions of COVID-19 is certainly different from online conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many factors that can improve student performance. Learning during this transitional period has been implemented by Universitas Brawijaya in the odd semester of 2022 which applies hybrid learning to fully offline learning. With this research aimed at analyzing the direct and indirect effects of learning motivation on student performance in post-pandemic condition of COVID-19 as measured based on comparisons of their experiences with online conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic using quantitative methods. Respondent data received in this study were 122 active students of the Information Systems study program at Brawijaya University starting from the class of 2017 to the class of 2022. The results of the analysis prove that there is no direct effect of learning motivation on student performance in post-pandemic conditions of COVID-19. But there is an indirect effect between learning motivation on student performance through the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework. The Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework consists of Social Presence, Cognitive Presence, and Teaching Presence. This indirect effect analysis give a results that Cognitive Presence and Teaching Presence can mediate the effect of learning motivation on student performance. Meanwhile, Social Presence yielded results that could not mediate the effect of learning motivation on student performance.

Abstract

BudayaKerja is an application from the SmartID company that aims to provide an assessment of the results of the accumulated performance achievements of Regional Apparatuses in the form of rankings or reports which will be competed as a benchmark for the work culture of each Regional Apparatus. The work culture application was developed without any required documents due to the fast and dynamic needs of policy makers. The researcher conducted an analysis and preparation of the Work Culture application requirements document using a reverse engineering approach. Reverse engineering is an approach used to analyze a component in the system to obtain the relationship between systems. This research produces user requirements documents and system requirements documents that will be used for the process of procuring goods or services within the scope of government. Identification was carried out through three stages, namely interviews, observation and literature study. The identification results will be analyzed to obtain the requirements to be used as a reference in preparing user requirements and system requirements. The user requirements document consists of an introduction, an overview and the needs of each user. The system requirements document consists of an introduction, an overview and specifications for each use case. The user and system requirements documents that have been prepared will be evaluated by checking the conformity of the documents using guidelines from the Software Engineering literature by Ian Sommerville and Use case Modeling by Kurt Bittner and Ian Spence, and examining the character of a good requirements specification consisting of validity, consistency , document completeness, realism and verifiability. User and system requirements documents are evaluated to obtain constructive feedback and produce requirements documents that can be used for the process of procuring goods or services in the government sphere.
