Abstract

CV. Mulyo Tani Makmur is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of fertilizers. As a company engaged in manufacturing, then the main thing process is the production process. The production process has a major effect on the resulting production. All processes must be done correctly. However, in reality, not all processes are performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). So that various things or situations can hamper the way the company to achieve targets and at risk of losses to be generated for the company. Based on the indications of emerging problems, this study evaluates the ongoing business process by adapting the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method. The QEF method assists in knowing the non-conformity between the target and the calculated result. The first thing to do is to determine the non-functional requirements and core processes that are modeled using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) version 2.0. Then perform the calculations according to the equations in QEF based on predetermined quality factors. The result of the calculation shows whether the quality factors are appropriate or not. The inconsistencies are analyzed using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method to find the root cause of the problem. The results of the RCA is expected to assist the company in minimizing the problems in the running business process.

Abstract

Information technology began to be used to build an E-Government based government by applying information technology in its work system to facilitate the work process and service to the community. With the development of information technology in the Government is expected the State Civil Apparatus performance will be faster and efficient. In the work unit of Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Labor, incoming mail that has not been documented electronically and activities of disposition of incoming mail which has been by using manual book led to the process of searching document letters constrained when the archive of incoming mail so much and excessive use of paper very wasted state budget from various ministries/ government agencies. To facilitate the process of searching and tracking the incoming mail flow until the mail is completed, it is necessary to develop mail documentation application at Inspectorate General Ministry of Labor. In this case, the mail documentation application is built using the CodeIgniter framework with the application of semantic web in hopes to simplify the process of searching document letters.

Abstract

Access log record all requests that processed by the web server. Access log is a file that contains an important line about website visitors. However, access log data is still in the form of raw data so it is difficult to read and analyzed to get activity information of website visitors on a website. In this research, the solution offered is to make a web-based application that can be used as a tool for knowing visitors' activity information on a website using access log data from an apache server. The data of access log will be parsed and the result data of the parsed access log will be saved into the MySQL database. Then this data is filtered by using a specific query in MySQL for later visualized by the application to the form of graphics or tables for further analysis. Based on the results of this study, Access Log Visualizer has been able to parse access logs by using regex and retrieve the access log data from the database by using MySQL query and display the visualization of the data access log, so that this system can process access log data for knowing activity information of website visitors on a website.

Abstract

At this time with the growing amount of information, the concept of data mining getting known as an important tool in the management information. Refers to the concept of data mining, the most popular concept in data mining is a clustering technique. One well known clustering method is k-means traditional. But in its application, k-means method has some problems such as determining the value of K cluster and determining the initial cluster centers were done randomly making process was inconsistent and the results of the cluster becomes worse. Therefore, there is a method to overcome these problems are improved semi-supervised k-means clustering. With improved semi-supervised method that combines the supervised and unsupervised method, users only need to label a bit of data that has not been labeled, then the labeled data is used to find the optimal value of initial cluster center and K cluster that will optimizes the process and result of clustering process. On implementation, this research combine k-means algorithm and improved semi-supervised k-means to clustering human development index (HDI) data. HDI data chosen because it has the right characteristics for clustering such amounts of data and the data is divided into several clusters. On the testing improved semi-supervised k-means method giving out the average accuracy of 90.3%, better than k-means clustering that giving 73.7% accuracy. In the second testing, improved semi-supervised k-means method produces an average time for one convergent 1222.9959 seconds, better than k-means with 1504.75 seconds. The third testing, improved semi-supervised k-means generates an average number of iterations for one convergent more efficient than k-means with the number of iterations of 7.11 compared 9.72. Last, on the cluster quality testing using silhouette coefficient, improved semi-supervised k-means method giving average value 0.69880, better than the traditional k-means with an average value of 0.62734.

Abstract

The Internet of Things(IoT) development have been improved very well, the integration of device in various field become the prove. The IoT device number of use also increase, from this fact, IoT devices management become the challenge to solve. The solution of this challenge is network monitoring system that run effectively. The system must handle the constraint of IoT device power and computational performance too. The implementation of monitoring using SNMP is not effective, because the size of paket for transmission is big and not all component of SNMP protocol being used. The monitoring system that being developed use UDP protocol because of its simplicity and light-weight to IoT devices. The selection of data structure and database also give contribution to effectiveness of this system. The IoT devices that used for the development is Raspberry Pi, this device has been selected because of the good integration with the other sensors, so it will make the development of this system in future become possible. This system monitors the device resource and network activity, then the result will be displayed on a graph, so the user can get the information of the result. The network monitoring system that being developed is effective, because the use of device's resource is small. In one transaction, the data paket size which transmitted is 309 bytes, this is smaller than SNMP-based monitoring system.

Abstract

Botanical gardens is an institution that keeps documentation about living plants collection Purwodadi Botanical Gardens located on Surabaya Malang Km. 65 Highway, Purwodadi Village, Purwodadi District, Pasuruan Regency. Purwodadi Botanical Garden has an area of ​​85 hectares. Purwodadi Botanical Garden has plants collection of 2.002 species, 178 family, 962 genus and 11.669 specimens. With abundance of plants, an application is required that can lead the way from user's location to intended plant's location. In developing the application, it takes a method/algorithm to perform calculations to get the closest distance. The algorithm used in this study is dijkstra algorithm. The dijkstra algorithm is chosen because it has faster running time than the Bellman-Ford algorithm. To design the required applications, functional requirements identification stage is performed based on visitors' needs. As for non-functional requirements, it is about usability and compatibility. Implementation was created based on the design that has been made before. Web server was built using PHP language, while the android app uses Java language with tools Android Studio. The test was performed in black-box to test the functionality of the application and every results showed valid. While white-box testing was performed to test the dijkstra algorithm. In addition, usability testing was performed and showed satisfactory results with a percentage of 70.916% by 30 respondents.

Abstract

In recent years, football has turned out to be the one of the most favorite sport in world-wide and turn into a business of football transfer in continental Europe (Baihaqi, 2014). Football transfer is a critical process due to To increase the performance in the next season or replace player which is move to another club. However, by using manual method, it becomes time-consuming since a scout has to look the player weekly or yearly. Morever if the decision is bad, then a club may encounter losses which is from the transfer cost and player salaries. In order to solve this issues, decision support system for football transfer has been developed by employing Analytical Hirarcy Process (AHP). From the obtained result, the accuracy by using this system is 80% of six data testing. Therefore, AHP is an effective method in order to support the decision for football transfer.

Abstract

Scheduling in the world of education is important due to the presence of a schedule so lessons can be run well. One example is the scheduling moving class, where it is a scheduling system for teaching and learning is characterized by students who came to guru processed. Process for preparing the schedule moving class is applied in SMA Negeri 1 Turatea that are still in the process of scheduling with the manual way which causes a lot of obstacles because of the scheduling process takes a long time and the results have not been definitely accurate. One of the optimization method that is suitable for this problem is through genetic algorithm approach. With the application of genetic algorithm to be performed the best solutions by using search operators (crossover (one-cut-point), mutations (reciprocal exchange mutation), selection (elitism) and evaluation). The best solution will be measured from the value of fitnessnya. In this study, there are 35 teachers who taught in 18 subjects in 12 classrooms. From these data will be made of chromosomes based on code teacher. From the test results that obtained the best results with the highest fitness value on the amount of population 100, crossover rate 0.4, mutation rate of 0.4, and the number of generations of 80. The end result of that is the best chromosome that produces the highest fitness value of scheduling. By applying genetic algorithms are expected to generate an optimized scheduling solution. Abstract

Children are part of a group of human age classification which are 0 - 12 years old. Fulfilling the nutrition requirement for the children is really important for their healthy life. One of the best way to fulfilling the nutrition requirement is by fulfilling the requirement of macronutrients. However, the ability of fulfilling the nutrition requirement is depending on how much they should spend their money on. Therefore, the optimization is needed to determine the best combination of food which can fulfil the nutrition requirement for the children and have a minimum cost. Simplex two-phase is one of optimization method from linear programming study. Simplex two-phase will minimize the cost to fulfil the nutrition requirement for the children. The outcome of this method calculation will be the quantity of food and the cost of it. The result show that the existence of feasible solution is determined by the selected foods and their cost which build the constraint function. Then, 0.1(or 1.5 gram) is the value of amount of food variable which has the minimum cost.

Abstract

One of the advantages of investing in stocks is capital gains, which is the benefits from stock trading. The use of stock price forecasting will increase profits from stock sale and purchase transactions because shareholders can know when the right time to sell or buy a particular stock. Support Vector Regression (SVR) is one of the methods used for forecasting, it can recognize patterns of time series data and can provide good forecasting results when the parameters of importance can be determined well as well. So we need an optimization method to determine SVR parameters so that SVR can be optimally applied in stock price forecasting. One of the optimization algorithms that can be used is Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Stock price forecasting using SVR with PSO optimization uses MAPE method to evaluate forecasting results. Based on the test that has been done, the value of MAPE obtained is 0.8195% with fitness of 0.5496 with the optimal parameters obtained is the number of particles 40, iteration PSO 40, iteration SVR 1000, parameter range of C 100 - 500, the parameter range of ɛ 0, 0001 - 0,001, parameter range of σ 0,001 - 2, parameter range of γ 0,00001 - 0,001, parameter range of λ 0,001 - 0,1, and comparison of training data and test data from 2016 BCA Bank share data is 90%: 10%.
