Abstract

Health is most important thing for human being, health can cause to daily activity. Health can be measured by measuring one of four vital sign which is heartbeat will be the focus for now. Using wearable device measuring heartbeat can be done easily. In order for the device to support daily activities the device must have a low power mechanism for conserve power consumption to work in long term with battery power. State machine and ATmega328p power down sleep feature is implemented into a prototype system that works as heartbeat monitor for sensing heartbeat, display data, and send data to smartphone device. Test on prototype provide a conclusion that prototype already working properly. Prototype giving 3.79 % error result for pulse sensor reading test at normal condition and 7.91% after sport condition, which means pulse sensing is working properly. Prototype can reduce power consumption by reducing current by 23.78 mA or 75.06 % from 31.68 mA with implementing state machine and power down sleep for it low power mechanism. For it performance prototype can works effectively up to 12-meter range and prototype wake time from sleep until reading sensor and sending data require only 0.0508 second.

Abstract

Abstract Chili is one of holticultura product wich is needed every day by Indonesian people. They use chili for spice in cooking. Chili supply not any time to meet demand. It causes price increases in accordance with the law of demand and supply. The surge in prices because of limited supplies occur every year. One of the problems that cause unavailability of supply throughout of year is chili crop failure cause chili cultivation is not good. pepper cultivation planning must consider the rainfall so that water for plants is available. Chili plants would not grow well if the plants lack of of water or if the water is too much. It will disturb chili growth, fertilization and crop becomes susceptible to pests. The main source off plants irrigation is rain. Knowledge of rainfall in the future will help farmers in cultivating planning. This research will discuss about decision support systems of chilli cultivation based on the rainfall prediction using simple linear regression method. Regression method used to predict the rainfall with modeling rainfall data in previous years. Based on the data the rainfall forecasts, system will recomanded best ways of pepper cultivation. Results of rainfall prediction using simple linear regression method has the accuracy rate of 91.6% which inluantial to the good of chili cultivation. Abstract

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a psychomotor disorder that the patient is difficult to concentrate and do something excessively. Types of ADHD detection can be done by experts such as doctors, nurses and psychologists who has mastered and give solutions for therapy who affected by ADHD. However due to the limited expertise it's quite difficult to consultancy with an experts. Therefore can be made a system for early detection of ADHD. In this research, the implementation of GA-LVQ2 methods for early detection of ADHD types. Stages of implementation are population initialization, crossover, mutation, evaluation, elitism selection, and LVQ2 training. Using real coded genetic algorithm as the representation of solution. Chromosome length in this study was 45, which is a symptom of ADHD. The result of the testing has been done is the highest accuracy reached 95% in the test with 20 data testing with the parameter value of population size 10, crossover rate 0.9, mutation rate 0.1, generations 40, learning rate 0.1, the learning rate reducer 0.1, the constant value ε 0.35. System output is the best LVQ weights that have been tested and have high accuracy.

Abstract

Online Taxi Android (Grab-car and Uber) is an online-based online transportation service controlled with android mobile applications. The rise of the use of online taxi applications proves that consumers are accustomed to using these services everyday. This study provides a comparison of online taxpayer usability using the unifiied theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Comparison will be obtained from four approaches on the UTAUT model. The best performance expectancy based approach is obtained by Grab-car with satisfied value, the best Effort Expectancy approach is obtained by Uber with satisfied value, the best social impact based approach is obtained by Grab-car with satisfied value, and approach based on facilitating conditions. Best earned by Grab-car with very satisfied value.

Abstract

Nowadays, in the current technological development, in education and work required mobility such as calculating. Mathematics is a systematic numerical used the calculation basic. The basic concepts of mathematics are filled with aspects visually. Calculator used as a calculations. The calculator available in the markets with smooth input keys and LCD outputs are useless for them. An optimal solution for them is braille calculator 4x4 membrane keypad with audio output. In this research, Implementation has simplified the existing braille calculator. The Design using 6 point of braille system with 3x2 button combination and backspace feature. User could input numbering from 0 to 9. The process are what is wanted, analysis, design, prototype and implementation/deploy. Implementation of system using 6 buttons is packed in a 7,5cm x 7,3cm x 5cm box. Keypad each other in a 0,6 cm. The distance used button each other to decrease input error. The result of standard testing with 2 visually impaired. This testing showed 100% rate. And average score of likert scale (1-5) has scored 5. So this calculator is very deserving to be used as calculating tool for the blinds.

Abstract

Youth Hostel Griya Brawijaya is a lodging facility managed by a students' cooperative of Brawijaya University. Based on the results of interviews with the manager of Youth Hostel Griya Brawijaya, can be concluded that all transactions to reserve the rooms remains to be received manually till now, including process of management of reservation data, types of room data, rooms data, forfeits data, payment data, and report of reservation recapitulation. It frequently cause some problems such as amount of time is needed to process the reservations, seek, make the notes, and recap the data which cause the process of reservation in Youth Hostel Griya Brawijaya did not run in optimal. The solutions to deal with this problems are by improving a web-based lodging reservation system refer to the necessary by doing some modification to the business process flow. This study begins by analyzing current business processes to find the requirements as needed, then proceed with design and implementation phase. The next phase is do a test for system using validation testing and compatibility testing. The results of validation testing showed that the system could run well in accordance with the functionality. And the result of compatibility testing is a system could run well on some versions of different browsers.

Abstract

Currently quadcopter, one type of UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle), became one of the mobile robot technology that is widely used by humans, it's used for commercial and development of quadcopter purpose. The reason quadcopter is widely used because of its ability to maneuver in all direction and flexibility. One of the interesting thinks to develop is safe landing problem of quadcopter, due a safe landing can reduce the risk of physical damage of the quadcopter. The purpose of this research was to implement LQR, Linear Quadratic Regulator method, for safe landing the quadcopter, this method is an optimal control that produce feedback gains for linear system by minimize quadratic cost function. LQR approach is used to control the attitudes and altitude to perform quadcopter landing that are implemented in ROS, Robot Operating System. The result of this research is to produce quadcopter landing method by knowing the settling time. Landing test was performed with variety of altitude i.e. at 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, and 3m, and based on the result of landing test, the average of settling time for landing safely is 1.75 second for increment one meter of altitude.

Abstract

Fertilization is one way to increase palm oil production. With such a crucial role, then an efficient usage of fertilizer could cut down production cost significantly. In order to ensure an efficient fertilization, a thorough analysis on plant's fertilizer needs along with looking after harvest results. Area analysis is possibly done by utilizing WebGIS-based GIS software which is easy to operate using precision farming approach in order to run in a long term. First step is to visualize palm oil plantation using processed image data in order to supervise, analyze, and plantation and ensure continuous production. Next, determining attribute data to analyze the need of fertilizer and match it with palm oil plant fertilization age table. It is expected that the result of this research could be of help for companies to know plant's exact and proper need of fertilizer in order to save cost and continuous increase in production that will meet harvest dates.

Abstract

Ice Ah is a small business established since 11 April 2016 in Malang City. As a small business it is a very logic thinking that a business want to immediately attract people attention as a customer, because a business is vulnerable in their first year with a limited resource and competition with another business. For that reason the marketing ability become a necessary factor in a business growth, especially with a small business that make use of small scale customer. To improve the marketing ability in a business, a system that can do marketing functionality and targeting an area with a vary scale and also adjusting to customer location is needed. In this research the marketing system made there on application using geofence methodology with the information delivered as notification. Based on the test which have been done, all of the geofence marketing system functionality can work well with corresponding requirement which have been made, and having user experience value based on 6 scale with the value of Attractiveness 1.45, Perspicuity 1.725, Efficiency 1.4, Dependability 1.275, Stimulation 1.4375 and Novelty 1.0125. based on the benchmarking test with 246 other product generated a 6 scale comparison result with value of Attractiveness is above average, Perspicuity is good, Efficiency is above average, Dependability is above average, Stimulation is good and Novelty is above average.

Abstract

Smart home were developed to do some daily activity automatically. To operate or monitor some devices in home wirelessly using smartphone. Nowadays, there's lot of smarthome control application based on smartphone that being developed but without paying attention to the basic principle of design, that's why in this research we will make smart home control application using android smartphone with bluetooth connectivity that could control some devices with basic design principle of human and computer interaction in mind with user friendly feature. Those priciple were designed to increase usability of the application to ease the user in operating smart home. Design process used in this application development is begin with what method that we wanted, and the we analyze the skenario and HTA the implement the interaction design principle. Usability test of the application were done using verification and observation.The result of verification test were work as predicted skenario. While in observation test, user need 43,1 second in average. Analysis of usability test by giving USE questionnaires to 30 respondents with the provision 15 users with basic knowledge of IT and 15 non IT with 5 categories based on the Likert scale ratings. usefulness, ease of use and easy to understand and satisfaction category get 4 (agree). From this research, we can conclude that this application is having high usability and from the observation test, user have agreed that this application would help them in controlling their home.
