Abstract

Scheduling is one thing that very important to create regularity organizational activities in the company, especially about the scheduling employee service. In this study data schedule employee PT Kereta Api Indonesia Kediri Besar Station in 2017, for optimal scheduling result use genetic algorithm method base on company regulation. In the genetic algorithm process initial population process is done by chromosome representation using permutation number with length of gene 98 representing 14 employees in 7 days. The reproduction process is divided into crossover and mutation, the crossover method use one cut point, and the mutation method use reciprocal exchange mutation. The selection process is done by elitism selection with selecting the fitness value based on the best result to be the parents in the next generation. Based on the test results are obtained the optimal parameters of cr value 0,1 mr value 0,9 in the 50 th generation and population 50 with average fitness value 0,093.

Abstract

Currently, criminal rate in the world is increasing because the difficulty of getting work. One of the highest criminal case which we often heard is the case of people abduction or the case of missing people. To reduce this problem, I created a low power location tracking in wearable device for people, location tracking system is designed as small as possible so this device could be carried by the person while they're going. This system used U-Blox Neo 6M, SIM 800L, Arduino NANO, and a power bank. U-Blox Neo 6M used for the location tracking with GPS network, SIM 800L used to deliver coordinates to the tracker via SMS with GPRS network, Arduino Nano used to configure input process and output process from the system, and power bank as the primary resource which the system used. This system is filled with sleep power mode feature that became the method for the system manufacture which functioned to save the usage of the power when the system is working. Tracker could know the position of the user by writing down a predetermined keyword via SMS to the number that used by system. With this sleep power method expected to be capable of having a longer power usage and capable of reducing the case of missing people.

Abstract

The shooting competition is one of the sport to practice concentration. In a shooting race with an animal-shaped sillhouette target, the use of the Automatic Countdown Tool (PSO) is still rarely used. In this study will make automatic score counters in the shooting race with animal sillhouette targets using fuzzy logic in determining the type of sillhouette target and the value of scores issued on the system. Fuzzy logic is used in the sillhouette type classification process to influence the score on the competition. This prototype is built using several modules that are Load Cell, Vibration Sensor, Limit Switch, Module HX711, and use Arduino UNO and Arduino Mega 2560 as its processor. Based on the results of shooting with an animal-shaped sillhouette, compared to the manual performed by officers, the scoring system provides good results. The accuracy of this system is 94.97% on the accuracy of sensor data. The system can also classify the type of sillhouette using fuzzy logic with an accuracy rate of 100%.

Abstract

Tourism has become commodity that can't be separated from human's life. There are some areas in Indonesia make tourism into the specific characteristics of their region which one is Malang Raya. The form of attention in the tourism sector is activated the building of new tourism objects. There was more tourism object than before will be more coddling for the tourists and also give a new problem. The tourist have knapsack problem which the tourist must decided all of tourism objects list that visited with the limited time. The optimization of knapsack problem can be resolved by using genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm will make a formation of chromosome as representation of solution. The structures of genetic algorithm consist of initialization, reproduction, evaluation, and selection. The process of genetic algorithm did in the 50 generations with 100 populations whereas the pc value is 0, 7 and the value of pm is 0, 8. Result of processing genetic algorithm towards case study that has been tested gave the solution resemble to nearby tourism areas list and grouping in the certain areas.

Abstract

Victoria University Lecturers have problem regarding overseeing their students' final year project progress. Because of their tight schedule, lecturers tend to have some difficulties to monitor and review students' progress work. Students are also being bothered by the difficulties to dividing their final project tasks, which is being done in a team. Also, students need some kind of means to collect their progress work to be reviewed by the lecturers. After conducting interviews, the author suggesting a prototype for a final project management system. The “Final Year Project” management system are designed to tackle those conditions. Some features in the management system are Attendance Record to record student attendance. Task management to help students allocating their tasks and Create New Project to help lecturers create their students' worksheet and allocating them. “Final Year Project” system are built using Content Management Service (CMS) Platform WordPress. To test the system, the author using both white box testing and black box testing. Although the system works as intended, there is a room for improvement as reducing the dependency of using plugins because they tend to increase Coupling level and make it harder to documenting the system.

Abstract

The information on water conditions in the aquatic field can be beneficial to maintain a good water quality. It can provide benefits especially in fish cultivation water. There are several parameters that affect water quality in freshwater fish culture where one of the parameters is pH or acidity level in water. One study explains that living freshwater organisms can only live at a pH between 6.8 to 8.0 and pH changes can occur at any time. At this time, a device that can measure the pH value or water acidity is a colorimeter, pH indicator and pH meter. The pH observations on these three devices can only perform one time data retrieval so that when used for continuous observations it is less efficient. Realtime monitoring systems can be built by implementing monitoring functions on the Internet of Things where they use sensors and actuators. In this study the authors use Probe Sensor SEN1069 as part of the system that performs data retrieval and Arduino microcontroller as part of the system that controls the sensor. Sensors and microcontrollers take pH data and then process pH data and send it to a server using Websocket communication mechanism. From the test results, the performance of system computing time is 2.505 seconds for computing 1000 data of acid solution or alkaline solution, 16 seconds to observe the change from pH 7.00 to acid solution and 8 seconds from pH 7.00 to alkaline solution.

Abstract

Learn the Al-Quran (reciting Al-Quran) is the obligation of every Moslem. To be able to reciting Al-Quran properly begins with getting to know about hijaiyah letters (the arabic letters) using Iqro' methods. Iqro is a method of learning to know about hijaiyah letter developed by H. As'ad. This method is very popular among Indonesian community. In order to make the learning process isn't boring is required a learning media that can be used anytime, one of them are using a mobile device application that can be used via smartphone. This research describes how to build a media applications to learning Iqro' based on android and integrate it with google speech so that applications built more interesting and interactive with users. Google speech be integrated on a test feature, users are asked to answer each question using their speech then google speech function to convert their voice to text. Text results obtained then matched with answer keys, by involving the user in question features, make this applications more interactive. Results of testing the accuracy of google speech's implementation of the question features stated that on the final test showed 100%, that means it's been as expected.

Abstract

Blood donation is a process of taking blood from a person voluntarily to blood transfusions for patients in need. Blood from donors can't be used after 42 days. The only way to meet the demand for blood bags are having regular blood donations from a healthy donor. In Indonesia 2013, there is 2,476,389cc shortage of blood bags, where the ideal blood availability is 2.5% of the population. These problems required a system that can predict the behavior of donors in order to anticipate the shortage of blood bags. Regency, Frequency, Monetary, Time, Churn Probability (RFMTC) is a modification of the RFM method modified that used to predict the blood donor behavior to donate or not to donate bloods. The method for classifying the behavior of donors in this research are Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. Data that was used in this research is 748 which is divided into training data and test data. The accuracy result got best accuracy based on 50%: 50% data ratio, using linear kernel and parameter value λ (lambda) = 2, Gamma (γ), = 0.5, Epsilon (ε) = 0.005, and C (complexity) = 20. The result of SVM method accuracy on blood donor classification is 72.64%.

Abstract

MQTT is a communication protocol that requires a small resource and bandwidth. MQTT uses a broker in charge of connecting publishers and subscribers. MQTT brokers, especially Mosquitto, do not have mechanisms to overcome failures caused by CPU overload or device damage when only one broker is used. Thus, it takes load balancer and some brokers. In this research, a load balancer performance analysis using round robin algorithm is used to distribute MQTT brokers workload. The study was conducted on a single host using virtualization. There are 4 virtual devices, namely 3 brokers and 1 load balancer. Subscriber subscribes to the topic by accessing the load balancer address. Testing is done by using load balancer as differentiator variable to know impact given load balancer to broker. The result shows that load balancer with round robin algorithm is able to distribute the load evenly with the condition of all connected clients without any interruption with 13.56%, 13.68% and 15.12% CPU load for each broker with request of 400 that receive 10 publish message for each client. Then the system is able to reconnect to other brokers with a speed of 1.007 seconds when traffic is low and 1.005, 2.791, 4.593, and 2.005 seconds when traffic is high. Finally, the broker's message distribution takes about 0.362, 0.687, 0.891, 1.199, and 1.622 seconds for the number of publish messages of 25, 50, 75, 100, and 125.

Abstract

The application of mobile ticketing is a breakthrough from the transport and e-commerce agencies to facilitate the access of transportation users who want to make transactions without having to come to the ticket service. In the use of mobile-ticketing applications, some applications do not use the appropriate tools, such as the features offered are not functioning properly, additional information such as airport taxes, and goods information is not present in some mobile-ticketing applications, it is a consideration for users. On subjective evaluation, the value of usefulness, usability, and desireability parameters is accumulated, from the accumulated result Mobile-Ticketing Traveloka has the highest value compared to Tiket.com. Based on the objective evaluation result of the parameters of task completed and error during task performance, it can be concluded that both applications have been effective application mobile-ticketing, all tasks run well. For an efficient level, the global value of geo mean parameters of time per completed task and number of clicks during task completion is accumulated. Based on the evaluation result, Traveloka mobile-ticketing application has the shortest time and sufficient number of clicks, so it can be concluded that Traveloka mobile ticketing application is more efficient to use compared to ticket.com application.
