Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the learning strategy learning starts with a question in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at MI Mambaul Ulum Alassumur. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. There were three informants in this study, namely Lailatul Mukarromah as the principal, Vindi Rif'atus Sholehah as a teacher and homeroom teacher for class V, and Dania as a class V student at MI Mambaul Ulum Alassumur. Data analysis is carried out with data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results obtained are the implementation of the learning strategy learning starts with a question in class V, which is carried out in several stages including choosing teaching sources, dividing students into several groups, choosing teaching materials or materials, starting learning by instructing students to read teaching materials then followed by formulating questions, and evaluating learning with questions and answers.

Abstract

The general public's view of the meaning of intelligence is still narrow. Many think that intelligent children are children who have logical intelligence and those who are lacking in that are considered unintelligent, even though there are many other types of intelligence. Some of these intelligences are linguistic and interpersonal intelligence. One way to hone linguistic and interpersonal intelligence is through a youth trainer program. The purpose of this research is to find out about the youth trainer program, how to hone linguistic and interpersonal intelligence through the youth trainer program, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is a qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. In the interview process, the researchers obtained data from the training division, teachers, administrators and students. Data analysis technique by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data by extending participation and triangulation. The conclusion of the research is that through the young trainer program, the students' linguistic and interpersonal intelligence has been proven to be honed. The supporting factors in this research are: imagination map, peer tutoring, teaching flash students etc. The inhibiting factor: training activities sometimes clash with the formal school schedule, the varying abilities of students and the lack of self-motivation of some students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of early reading difficulties, the causes of early reading difficulties, and explain how teachers overcome early reading difficulties in second grade students. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used is the Creswell model which includes four stages, namely preparing data, coding, using code to build descriptions and themes, and showing how these descriptions and themes will be written in a qualitative narrative or report. The results of this study indicate that the types of early reading difficulties in students are not able to recognize and pronounce the letters of the alphabet, difficulty distinguishing the same letters, difficulty reading one consonant letter and one vowel letter, difficulty reading open syllables, difficulty reading syllables into words, and reading is still stuttering. The causes of early reading difficulties are interest factors, motivational factors, parental factors, and teacher factors. The teacher's way of overcoming the difficulty of early reading is by training and familiarizing students to read in their spare time or at school hours in approximately 10 minutes.

Abstract

Quality education can be implemented if the madrasah applies strategic management and good boarding schools. Moving on from these assumptions and the problem of weak madrasa management today, the authors are interested in conducting research with the aim of describing and analyzing profiles, implementing and evaluating strategic management and boarding schools in improving the quality of education. This research is a descriptive qualitative research method and the type of research is a case study conducted at MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani where the subjects of the research are the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa, treasurer, education staff, madrasa committee and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the profile of MA Sheikh Zainuddin NW Anjani described the vision, mission, goals, objectives and profile of madrasa resources. Strategic management and boarding schools at MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani are carried out through madrasa internal and external environmental activities which are described through the madrasa organizational structure, teamwork and division of madrasa tasks, study days and times, financing assets, curriculum, madrasa promotion, new student admissions, culture madrasas, code of ethics, madrasa policies, geographical, demographic, cultural environment and community appreciation, government regulations, developments in science and technology, involvement of madrasa committees, partner institutions, alumni and strategic management and boarding schools in an effort to meet national education standards. The evaluation at MA Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anajani is carried out continuously involving top management and all madrasa personnel both short, medium and long term through madrasah self-evaluation instruments, teachers and benchmarking to improve madrasa performance and education quality.

Abstract

This study presents the implementation of transformational leadership on the work motivation of educators and education staff at MAN 1 Mataram using a qualitative case study approach. In determining the data source, purposive sampling technique was used and the data collection technique was document analysis and in-depth interviews (indeph interviews). The research subjects are educators and education staff. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification until the data is saturated. The results of this study indicate that the principal is a transformative leader with evidence that has the Idealize Influence dimension the principal has charisma so that he becomes a role model, The principal's inspirational motivation is able to become an inspiration for his followers to achieve school goals, the principal's intellectual stimulation is a visionary figure for ideas and ideas to advance educational institutions, the principal's individualized consideration listens to aspirations and treats educators and education staff humanely for the development of their institutions. Transformational leadership and work motivation are very relevant to develop an organization towards a better direction, because it not only provides organizational development but can also realize a qualified organizational capacity for every situation.

Abstract

This study uses a naturalistic qualitative approach to describe the management of human resources for educators at the Education Office of Central Lombok Regency in a complete, natural and in-depth manner. The Education Office of Central Lombok Regency in planning and recruiting educators by evaluating and analyzing the needs of teacher shortages in each school based on the teacher needs proposed by the school principals. Then coordinate in the form of meetings, meetings and joint deliberation in order to propose planning for educators proposed by the school. Planning for the needs of educators (teachers) at the Education Office of Central Lombok Regency, includes two things: (1) the planning process for teacher needs aims to ensure the fulfillment of needs in organizational units, planning is carried out by analyzing internal and external factors, such as resource and teacher needs . After the planning is done, it is known that the required manpower with a certain level of ability or skill is known; (2) analysis of teacher needs. The planning starts from the analysis of currently available teacher resources. The analysis includes two things, namely; job descriptions and job specifications. A job description describes the tasks or work performed, while a job specification includes the skills and abilities needed to carry out the task. In terms of recruitment of educators, the Education Office of Central Lombok Regency is based on the needs of educators by using academic, administrative, health and qualification selections that have been determined, in its implementation it still depends on the provisions of the Education and Training Personnel Agency (BKPP) of Central Lombok Regency. its nature is only to plan human resources and propose employees who have been previously planned, while the recruitment process is carried out by the regional personnel agency. Thus the Education Office of Central Lombok Regency as one of the organizations or institutions implementing regional autonomy authority in the field of education, has a very strategic function in managing the implementation of the education system.

Abstract

Leadership has a very strong relationship with power. Therefore, power has juridical power and can influence others to act as expected. This paper aims to analyze the strategic role of leadership in developing a religious culture. In addition, this paper seeks to explore how leadership can develop a religious culture in Madrasahs, and furthermore to understand the implementation of leadership as an important part in developing a religious culture in State Madrasah Aliyah throughout the city of Mataram. The method used in this paper is qualitative, this approach emphasizes the quality or the most important of social phenomena, events and phenomena. In this study, researchers analyzed social phenomena, phenomena and events regarding the implementation of leadership as part of developing a religious culture in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Mataram. Data collection in this study was carried out using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation of the data found in the field. The data analysis of this research uses interactive model data analysis techniques that take place continuously until complete. The analysis takes place simultaneously which is carried out simultaneously with the data collection process, with the flow of stages: (1) data collection (data collection), (2) data reduction (data reduction), (3) data presentation (data display) and (4) conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing and verifying. The results of the research are that Madarsah Aliyah Negeri in the city of Mataram, is a leading educational institution at the secondary education level which is slowly but surely developing a religious culture within their respective madrasah. This can be seen from several activities that the researchers found in the field, for example, the development of a religious culture which is heavily influenced by the policies of the madarsah principal, and this can be seen through (1) the many regulations that are religious in nature that are applied, (2) the religious activities that are routinely carried out by the madrasah. students (3) and the discipline and cleanliness of the study program environment is quite well maintained. (4) the growth of order that reflects harmony and order in the association between madrasa residents, (5) exemplary as part of the leadership orientation in the development of religious culture in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Mataram City, and can have implications for instilling students' faith in madrasas. (6) Openness as part of the transparency nature of the school management system and on any issues. The openness of every member of the school is expected to close the existence of mutual suspicion, prejudice, envy, slander and other bad qualities that tend to persecute and damage the rights of others.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems and analyze the needs of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Shaykh Zainuddin Nahdlatul Wathan Anjani after certification. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative data analysis techniques (in the form of descriptive statistics), and qualitative techniques (in the form of descriptions/narratives in the form of words and sentences). Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and open questionnaires. The results show that teacher certification has an impact on increasing teacher competence, where the competence of teachers who have been certified is in a better category than those who have not been certified, although independent efforts are still not maximal for increasing professionalism. In addition, problems were found in terms of the incompatibility of the number of teachers compared to the needs of teachers in certain subjects, so that there were obstacles in fulfilling the minimum 24 hour teaching load, which was one of the conditions for receiving professional allowances.

Abstract

The need for creative, innovative, effective, and fun learning development to make students more active in learning activities, requires teachers to continue to provide learning innovations, especially in science subjects. Thus, the purpose of developing elementary school science teaching materials based on Bruner's learning theory is to find out whether the developed teaching materials are suitable for use in the learning process. This study uses the development of Dick and Carey. Determination of the validator by purposive sampling technique, and data collection techniques using a validator assessment sheet, while the data analysis technique uses quantitative to qualitative descriptive. The results showed that from material experts to the model book the actual score was 54 and was in the range of scores of 44,19 < X 54,58 with a good category, in the teacher's book the actual score was 54 and it was in the range of scores of 44,19 < X 54,58 in the good category, and the student's book with an actual score of 58 and in the range of scores of 47,59 < X 58,79 with a good category. The results of the display expert on the model book, the actual score is 19 and is in the range of scores 16,99 < X 20,99 with good category, the teacher's book is the actual score is 54 and is in the range of scores 44,19 < X 54,58 and the actual score of the student book is 42 and is in the range of scores of 37,39 < X 46,19. While the validation results from practitioners are on average 88 and in the range of scores of X > 79,78 with a very good category. The results of this study indicate that the product is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

An important component in learning is the method. The success or failure of a learning activity depends on the method used. Because it is the method that determines how the learning process is carried out in the classroom. The PAI learning method for ABK is a method used by PAI teachers in SLB so that the material presented is easy to understand and understand, so that SLB students can implement their understanding in everyday life. This study aims to identify and analyze the PAI learning method for children with special needs at SLB Negeri 1 Lombok Barat for the types of disabilities who are blind, deaf, mentally retarded and physically disabled. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research process lasted for almost 4 months with research subjects being PAI teachers, school principals, curriculum assistants, students with special needs and student guardians. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. While the object of research is the learning method of Islamic religious education for Children with Special Needs in the types of disabilities who are Blind, Deaf, Mentally Disabled and Physically Disabled in SLB Negeri 1 West Lombok. The results showed that: the PAI learning method used by PAI teachers for the type of visual impairment is the lecture and question and answer method, the deaf class uses the lecture and demonstration method, the mentally retarded class uses the lecture method and the disabled class uses the lecture and question and answer method.
