Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe simple flat building media that can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of first grade students of Negeri 21 Rantau Sibaju Bengkayang Elementary School. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and measurement techniques with data collection instruments namely observation and test sheets. The results of the study of the implementation of learning design (RPP) from cycle I to cycle III get an average score of 3.67 in the excellent category. The results of the study of the implementation of learning from the first cycle average score of 2.81, cycle II an average score of 3.51 and the third cycle average score of 3.94, always experiencing an increase due to the implementation of learning using the media to build flat teachers always do improvements in each cycle. The results of student learning from the first cycle average value of 55.09, cycle II an average value of 71.76 and cycle III an average value of 81.94. Based on the data obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in each cycle Thus the research using simple flat-build media on learning to know class I flat build can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Flat Build Media, learning outcomes, mathematics.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesiapan dan kendala guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran online pada semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 di 34 SDN Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru kelas VI dari kelas A, B, E dan F. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan protokol wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua guru siap melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model daring. Kesiapan guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring didukung oleh ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai seperti handphone dan laptop, kuota internet dan aplikasi. Kesiapan perangkat pembelajaran yang mendukung meliputi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, langkah-langkah pembelajaran, tujuan pembelajaran, dan penilaian. Selain itu, kesiapan sumber daya manusia meliputi pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran daring, kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi dan kapasitas guru dalam memadukan pembelajaran daring dengan pembelajaran di kelas. Kesiapan guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran online juga menemui beberapa kendala, khususnya kurangnya perangkat mobile, mahalnya kuota internet, ketidakstabilan jaringan internet dan keterbatasan kapasitas platform/aplikasi. Kendala yang berkaitan dengan manajemen dalam melakukan pembelajaran daring yang dihadapi oleh para guru antara lain kesulitan dalam memilih dan menentukan materi pembelajaran, dan kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menggunakan aplikasi untuk penyampaian instruksional.

Abstract

Abstract At this time the 21st century is known by all audiences as the era of knowledge which is used as a foundation in various aspects of the wheel of life with the characteristic of providing information anywhere and anytime and increasing the interaction of world citizens either directly or indirectly. Talking about 21st century skills, education today should not only be about knowledge of the subjects being taught but also lead to leadership, responsibility, problem solving, analytical thinking, adaptability, communication, initiative, self-direction, creativity, cross-cultural skills, and work. same. Through this PKM activity bridges teachers to have 21st century skills in the form of (1) Critical Thinking Skills; (2) Ability to Solve Problems; (3) Communication and Collaboration; (4) Creativity and Innovation; (5) Information, Communication, and Technology Media Literacy. Teachers as people who daily wrestle with the world of education and have direct contact with students in schools must be able to change their teaching style according to the needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce RPP models that integrate 4C, literacy, PPK and HOTS capabilities, which have been validated. The method used was the development research method Borg & Gall, from the introduction, development, and testing stages. In the first year, it has produced high-grade elementary school Thematic RPP that integrate 21st century competency (4C), literacy skills, reinforced Character Education (PPK) and validated HOTS so that they are suitable to be used as RPP models to strengthen these abilities.

Abstract

This workshop provides training, manufacture and implementation of thematic lessons for teachers of group I Sungai Ambawang, Kubu Raya Regency conducted with the aim to improve understanding of thematic learning concepts, improve professionalism and ability of teachers in designing learning by using thematic learning as well as improve student learning activities through the implementation of learning by using thematic learning. The results obtained from the workshop activities are enthusiastic participants in following the activities on thematic learning, improving teachers' understanding in designing thematic learning and teacher skills in implementing thematic learning. This is supported by several factors, including the willingness and ability of elementary school teachers group I Sungai Ambawang, Kubu Raya Regency to get thematic lessons, resource persons with professional and experienced skills, and enthusiasm of elementary school teachers in group I Sungai Ambawang, Kubu Raya Regency In the preparation of the implementation plan of learning.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia had a direct impact on learning activities in elementary schools, including science learning, so that face-to-face learning was shifted to online learning. This study aims to analyze online learning activities, supporting factors, obstacles faced, and the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency, Pontianak City from March to April 2021. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to provide an overview of online learning an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency. This study uses data from semi-structured interviews given to classroom teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis used the analysis technique of Miles & Huberman through four stages, namely data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on learning activities. Online learning is carried out using Google Meet and WhatsApp media. Supporting factors and obstacles in online learning, namely communication tools, internet networks, student motivation, and support from parents. Online learning is felt to be less effective because the material is not fully conveyed to students. Most of the activities are carried out only by giving material briefly and assigning assignments and collecting assignments. Thus, there is a need for breakthrough steps that teachers need to take so that learning is not monotonous and can be meaningful for students even in a state of online learning. Abstrak Adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia secara langsung sangat berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, termasuk pembelajaran IPA sehingga pembelajaran tatapp muka dialihkan ke pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara daring kegiatan pembelajaran, faktor pendukung, kendala yang dihadapi, dan keefektifan pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dari bulan Maret sampai April 2021. Ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran pembelajaran online di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari wawancara semi terstruktur yang diberikan kepada guru kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis Miles & Huberman melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran secara daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan media Google Meet dan WhatsApp. Factor pendukung dan yang menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran online, yaitu alat komunikasi, jaringan internet, motivasi siswa, dan dukungan dari orang tua. Pembelajaran daring dirasakan kurang efektif karena materi tidak tersampaikan seluruhnya kepada siswa. Sebagian besar kegiatan dilakukan hanya dengan memberikan materi secara singkat dan pemberian tugas serta mengumpulkan tugas. Dengan demikian perlu adanya langkah terobosan yang perlu dilakukan guru agar pembelajaran tidak monoton dan bisa bermakna bagi siswa meskipun dalam keadaan pembelajaran daring. Abstract

The geographical condition of Pontianak City, which is located in West Kalimantan Province, includes disaster-prone areas, especially floods, fires, droughts, smog, hurricanes, disease outbreaks and social conflicts that can cause environmental damage, property losses, psychological impacts, and victims. Therefore, it is necessary to take various anticipatory and countermeasures efforts. So that the community must have the knowledge, understanding, preparedness and skills to detect and anticipate early various kinds of disasters or better known as disaster mitigation. Therefore, disaster mitigation education in schools needs to be carried out from an early age in order to provide deepening of knowledge and readiness for actions or activities that need to be carried out before or during an unexpected natural disaster. In this regard, researchers conducted research on the development of disaster mitigation ebooks as a means of disaster awareness education for elementary school students. The research approach used to develop this e-book of disaster mitigation materials is a mixed method approach because the research conducted is classified as research and development or R&D research. In the process of developing a disaster mitigation ebook, researchers carried out a process of validating the language feasibility aspect in order to obtain quality book products. The value of the validation of the feasibility aspect of the disaster mitigation e-book prototype language carried out by experts in the Indonesian language field is 3.6 with a very good interpretation. Meanwhile, the average percentage gain from all component indicators is 91.66% with a very decent category. Abstrak Kondisi geografis Kota Pontianak yang terletak pada Provinsi Kalimantan Barat termasuk daerah rawan bencana, terutama bencana banjir, kebakaran, kekeringan, kabut asap, angin putting beliung, wabah penyakit dan konflik sosial yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dampak psikologis, dan korban jiwa sehingga perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya antisipasi dan penanggulangan. Sehingga masyarakat harus memiliki pengetahuan, pemahaman, kesiapsiagaan dan keterampilan untuk mendeteksi serta mengantisipasi secara lebih dini berbagai macam bencana atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah mitigasi bencana. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan mitigasi bencana di sekolah perlu dilakukan sejak dini guna memberikan pendalaman pengetahuan serta kesiapan terhadap tindakan-tindakan atau aktivitas yang perlu dilakukan sebelum atau pada saat terjadinya bencana alam yang tidak terduga. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan e book mitigasi bencana sebagai sarana edukasi sadar bencana untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan e-book materi mitigasi bencana ini adalah pendekatan mixed method dikarenakan penelitian yang dilakukan tergolong penelitian research and development atau R&D. Pada proses pengembangan e book mitigasi bencana, peneliti melakukan proses validasi aspek kelayakan Bahasa agar diperoleh hasil produk buku yang berkualitas. Adapun nilai validasi aspek kelayakan Bahasa prototipe e book mitigasi bencana yang dilakukan oleh ahli di bidang Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu sebesar 3,6 dengan intepretasi sangat baik. Sedangkan pemerolehan rata-rata persentase dari semua indicator komponen adalah 91,66% dengan kategori sangat layak. Kata Kunci: Kelayakan Aspek Bahasa, E book, Mitigasi Bencana

Abstract

In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 21st century digital era, it is very necessary to have questions that can be used online that are validated and ready to be used to assess the learning process that has been carried out, so online question development research is carried out using google form in learning Theme 3 Class V Elementary Schools as an implementation of Learning from Home (BDR) to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The research approach used to develop online questions using google form is a mixed method approach because the research carried out is classified as research and development or R&D research. The data collection technique is to answer the sub-problem formulation regarding the response of the teacher in using the results of the trial for developing online learning questions Theme 3 Class V Elementary Schools which are distributed via google form and student responses when working on the results of developing online learning questions Theme 3 Class V Elementary Schools in google form is an open interview with the teacher and provides a closed questionnaire to students. The results obtained were that the teacher gave a positive response regarding the use of the results of developing online learning questions for Theme 3 Class V Elementary Schools which were distributed through Google Form and students gave very good responses when working on the results of developing online learning questions Theme 3 Class V Elementary School on google form. Abstrak Pada era pandemi COVID-19 dan era digital abad 21 sangat diperlukan ketersediaan soal yang dapat digunakan secara online yang tervalidasi dan siap digunakan untuk menilai proses pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan, maka dilakukan penelitian pengembangan soal online menggunakan google form pada pembelajaran Tema 3 Kelas V Sekolah Dasar sebagai implementasi Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) untuk memutus penyebaran COVID-19. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan soal online menggunakan google form ini adalah pendekatan mixed method dikarenakan penelitian yang dilakukan tergolong penelitian research and development atau R&D. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data untuk menjawab sub rumusan masalah mengenai respon guru dalam menggunakan hasil uji coba pengembangan soal online pembelajaran Tema 3 Kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang di sebarkan melalui google form dan respon siswa ketika mengerjakan hasil pengembangan soal online pembelajaran Tema 3 Kelas V Sekolah Dasar di google form adalah wawancara terbuka kepada guru dan memberikan angket tertutup kepada siswa. Adapun hasil yang di peroleh yaitu guru memberikan respon yang positif mengenai penggunaan hasil pengembangan soal online pembelajaran Tema 3 Kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang di sebarkan melalui google form serta siswa memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik ketika mengerjakan hasil pengembangan soal online pembelajaran Tema 3 Kelas V Sekolah Dasar di google form.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of early reading difficulties, the causes of early reading difficulties, and explain how teachers overcome early reading difficulties in second grade students. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used is the Creswell model which includes four stages, namely preparing data, coding, using code to build descriptions and themes, and showing how these descriptions and themes will be written in a qualitative narrative or report. The results of this study indicate that the types of early reading difficulties in students are not able to recognize and pronounce the letters of the alphabet, difficulty distinguishing the same letters, difficulty reading one consonant letter and one vowel letter, difficulty reading open syllables, difficulty reading syllables into words, and reading is still stuttering. The causes of early reading difficulties are interest factors, motivational factors, parental factors, and teacher factors. The teacher's way of overcoming the difficulty of early reading is by training and familiarizing students to read in their spare time or at school hours in approximately 10 minutes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop instructional video media as a complement to teaching materials on how to maintain the health of the human circulatory organs, Theme 4, Sub-theme 3, Learning 1. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE method. model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Quantitative data in this study were obtained from product assessments by validation experts and also from the results of filling out questionnaires from the teacher and student respondents. Qualitative data were obtained from suggestions and notes by validators, teachers and students. The research instruments in this study were interview guidelines and questionnaires. The level of validity of learning video media as a complement to teaching materials is based on the results of media experts and material experts' assessments, while the level of product feasibility is assessed from responses to the use of instructional video media as a complement to teaching materials based on the assessment results of teachers and fifth grade students at SDN 03 Pontianak City. The validation results by media experts obtained an average value of 2.93 in the "valid" category. The validation results by material experts obtained an average value of 3.49 in the "very valid" category. The results of the feasibility of instructional video media as a complement to teaching materials by small groups obtained an average value of 3.08 in the "decent" category. The results of the feasibility of learning video media by large groups obtained an average value of 3.05 in the "decent" category. The feasibility results of instructional video media as a complement to teaching materials by class teachers obtain an average score of 3.46 in the "very feasible" category
