Abstract

This study aims to analyze in-depth how SD Ma'arif (Small Elementary School) develops its brand image to gain public trust. The research approach is qualitative, employing a phenomenological paradigm, using a case study approach. Data sources include the principal, the vice principal for public relations, and a team of teachers and education staff appointed as the school's development team. Data collection techniques include participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique utilizes the concepts of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The study concluded that SD Ma'arif Ponorogo does not employ a diverse strategy for building its brand image in the eyes of the public. However, it emphasized that it performs all its duties to the fullest extent possible. These include promoting the school during the PPDB (Enrollment Admission) period and proceeding appropriately, maintaining and fostering the school's identity, and consistently upholding the quality of its education

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of digital technology that has shown a positive impact on the academic presentation of students. Chatbot applications is one technology that can be utilized to improve the quality of learning in the classroom.The research method used is Quasi Experimental with pretest-postest control group design. The total population in this study were 128 5th grade students. The samples used were class 5B and Class 5C. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests. The data collection instruments used were question sheets, observation sheets, and documentation guidelines. The analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing.based on data analysis obtained: 1) Control class pretest learning outcomes was 34 while the posttest was 59. 2) Experimental class pretest learning outcomes was 46,77 while the posttest was 80,96. 3) There is a significant effect on the application of the blended learning method assisted by DARA chatbot application. with an effect size test of 9.1935. So it can be concluded that in general the use of blended learning methods assisted by DARA chatbot applications has a high influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ responses to the use of learning media with the Gallery Walk method within the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to support IPAS (Science and Social Studies) learning at the elementary school level. It also seeks to offer an alternative teaching method that can be applied in the classroom. The PjBL model, which often relies solely on presentations, can sometimes lead to student boredom during the learning process. To address this, the study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of the class teacher and fifth-grade students, focusing primarily on the implementation and impact of audiovisual learning media and the Gallery Walk method within the PjBL framework. The results indicate that students responded positively to the implementation, as seen in their enthusiasm and increased participation throughout the learning process. In conclusion, combining the PjBL model with audiovisual learning media and the Gallery Walk method offers a promising teaching strategy that teachers can apply in the classroom

Abstract

The research aimed to portray women's leadership in education in Madura through a case study of Nyai Munawwarah's leadership in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ar-Rasyid, Sumenep. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analysed thematically. The results showed that Nyai Munawwarah utilised social capital such as community networks, norms of reciprocity and trust to sustain the madrasah after the death of the founder. The main challenges include financial limitations, undisciplined management of certified teachers, and value conflicts between generations of teachers. Her leadership strategies include: (1) building teachers' collective awareness to have a sense of responsibility towards the madrasah through motivation, dialog or communication, and exemplification; and (2) improving the quality of education services by enforcing the discipline of certified teachers and regenerating leadership. Nyai Munawwarah's leadership reflects a servant leadership model that prioritises personal sacrifice and a humanist approach, although it depends on individual resilience. The research concludes that while women's leadership can drive community-based education, institutional sustainability requires structural support such as transparent evaluation systems, performance-based incentives and participatory governance. The implication is affirmative policies needed to strengthen the role of women in the leadership of Islamic education while overcoming patriarchal bias.

Abstract

The reason for conducting this research is the problems faced by grade II elementary school students, namely students are less skilled in writing using cursive letters, because there has not been application of special learning media to practice cursive writing and lack of guidance from teachers in practicing writing using cursive letters. This research aims to improve students cursive writing skills through the utilization of LKPD to write upright with friends together. This research applies the research and development method with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used include validation from media and material experts, as well as tests. Instruments used in data collection this research is in the form of a media and material expert validation questionnaire, as well as a cursive writing skills test. And the results of this study were calculated using data analysis techniques in the form of media and material feasibility analysis, as well as the N-Gain test. The results showed that the media used obtained an assessment from the media expert of 93%, while the assessment from the material expert 97%, and the final result of validation is 95% with the criteria "very feasible". The results of cursive writing skills students cursive writing skills have increased after using the LKPD to write upright with friends along with the average pre-test score of 69.09 and the average post-test score of 90.00. It can be concluded from the findings of this study that the worksheet (LKPD) for writing upright cursive letters with friends together successfully improved students cursive writing skills, with results that are classified in the high category.

Abstract

Art is a medium for creativity. One of the most common art activities is expressive drawing. It involves the inner elements of the creator. Expressive drawing has been introduced in elementary school, but it is only explored in grade 5. However, in practice, teachers often adapt the conventional process by observing objects around them. In relation to this, there is one medium that can be used as a source of learning expressive drawing, namely Manga. This is because many elementary school students are familiar with and interested in the world of animanga. The purpose of this study is to describe the aesthetic elements and explain their relevance in Manga Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, with the content of expressive drawing material in the 5th grade Fine Arts book. The research used a qualitative method with literature review. Data were collected using the methods of listening, note-taking, and documentation, which were then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings show the existence of four aesthetic elements in the form of themes, shapes, colors, and motifs based on Herbert Read's aesthetic theory. There is a relevance between the aesthetic elements and the content of expressive drawing submaterial. First, the principle of balance is found with the four aesthetic elements that serve to obtain references. Secondly, the submaterial of analyzing and concluding the principle of balance serves as a maturation of the concept that has been formed in the initial exploration. Third, the practical activities function in realizing the four aesthetic elements in a work of art.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is an important skill in science learning. This study aims to examine the influence of conceptual understanding and creativity on problem-solving ability, both directly and through self-confidence as an intervening variable. The study used an ex post facto quantitative approach with 59 sixth grade students as respondents, and data analysis was conducted using a path model. The results showed that conceptual understanding had a direct effect of 0.440 on problem-solving ability, while creativity had a direct effect of 0.396. When self-confidence was included as an intervening variable, the indirect effect of conceptual understanding was 0.326, while creativity was -0.187. These findings indicate that self-confidence can strengthen or weaken the relationship between conceptual understanding and creativity with problem-solving ability, so that strengthening students' self-confidence is an important aspect in science learning.

Abstract

This study raises a theme that actually has a strong relevance to the psychological development of children. It is gender inclusiveness where the purpose of this material is to provide a basic understanding of the attitudes that children should have in relation to the relationship between men and women. The approach in this study uses discourse analysis which is divided into 3. (1) macro, which studies the global meaning of a text that can be observed. (2) superstructure, which is discourse related to the framework of a text. (3) microstructure, which is the essence of discourse seen from the micro part of a sentence. Furthermore, in general, what can be concluded from this research is the mission that the main subject wants to convey in the storytelling of the novel. First, the resistance to the patriarchal system. Second, the exploration of women's attitudes in carrying out their responsibilities both in the domestic and public sectors, which actually do not need to be positioned as second or third. In addition, this material is also in line with the theory built by Vygotsky, namely the concept of socioculture and scaffolding.
