Abstract

This research is to produce thematic learning tools based on a contextual approach by integrating the local potential of Jumiang Beach Tourism. This study uses a 4-D development model developed by Thiagarajan. The research subjects were grade 4 students of UPTD SDN Tanjung 3 Pamekasan. The research instruments used included observation sheets, interview guides, and tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the validity of the learning device showed that the score of the design validation results was at 88%, and the material validation was 92.6%. So that the average student validation reaches 90%. The results of the practicality of learning devices are in the attractive category with a score of 86%, and the effectiveness of students reaching 85% is in the effective category. Based on these conclusions, a thematic learning tool based on an integrated contextual approach that is valid, practical and effective for use in elementary schools.

Abstract

The background of this research is that grade VI students still do not understand the material of addition and subtraction of integers. The aim of the research is to produce learning media, to prove the feasibility of learning media in terms of validity, practicality of teacher and student responses, and effectiveness. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, development, Implementation, and Evaluation). There are two instruments used, namely using a questionnaire and a test. The results of the research on the development of poster media based on the QR Code material for addition and subtraction of integers for class VI SDN III Jatikalen, Nganjuk Regency are as follows: (1) The validity results obtained at a percentage of 88% are very valid. (2) The results of the teacher's practicality questionnaire obtained a percentage of 96% which was declared very good and the results of the student's practicality questionnaire obtained a percentage of 96% which was stated to be very good. (3) The results of the validity of the QR Code-based poster media obtained at a percentage of 86% were stated to be very effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of scientific literacy for elementary school students in the context of science learning in fourth-grade classes. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) methods in enhancing the scientific literacy of elementary school students. The selection of this research topic is based on the pressing need to strengthen scientific literacy as an essential skill in facing the advancements in science and technology in the modern era. The research method employed in this study is a quasi-experimental design with both a control group and a treatment group. The research sample consists of randomly selected fourth-grade students from elementary schools. The control group receives conventional learning, while the treatment group undergoes STEAM-based learning through PjBL. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the STEAM approach through PjBL has a significant positive impact on the improvement of students' scientific literacy. Students engaged in STEAM-based learning show enhanced understanding of scientific concepts, observational skills, critical thinking abilities, and superior communication skills compared to their counterparts undergoing conventional learning. In conclusion, the implementation of the STEAM approach through PjBL holds substantial potential for enhancing scientific literacy among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy in combined character education for children with special needs and normal children at Cilegon Civilization Elementary School which includes the cognitive domain or knowledge of morals, the affective domain or moral awareness, and the psychomotor domain or moral action as well as knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in these character education activities. This study uses qualitative research methods that allow researchers to describe the state of character education in schools. Based on the research findings, it is found that the teacher's strategy in the cognitive domain includes planning through lesson plans that are tailored to the needs, implementation through grouping students based on multiple intelligences, adding shadows for children with special needs, and methods used such as storytelling methods, projects, learning outside the classroom, and linking learning materials with verses of the Koran and hadiths, and evaluation using the 2013 curriculum focuses on character education. While the inhibiting factors are divided into 2, namely internal and external. The internal ones are the heterogeneity of students in one class, and the lack of human resources capable of handling students with severe special needs. The external ones are Judgement from the environment and large operational costs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze elementary school students' mathematical problem-solving abilities according to Polya Theory. This research combines the Concurrent Triangulation type, which combines qualitative and quantitative research methods simultaneously, both in data collection and analysis. Data was collected using tests, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were 25 grade IV students at MI Qubbataul Islam. Quantitative data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive, and qualitative data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Test the validity of quantitative data, test students' mathematical problem-solving abilities using the Product Moment Correlation validity test and test reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. Qualitative data validity techniques were tested using triangulation and reference adequacy. The research results show that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still in the medium category, with 8% having mathematical problem-solving skills in the high class, 80% in the medium category, and 12% in the low sort.

Abstract

The development of English vocabulary card learning media is one of the media that can help teachers during the learning process and help increase students' interest in learning. The reality on the ground shows that when learning takes place there is no supporting media, students have difficulty memorizing vocabulary because writing and reading are different, especially students' lack of interest in learning English. The purpose of this development is to produce products in the form of learning media, namely English vocabulary card media that are fun, not boring, interesting and have high interest in learning English. This can make it easier for students to memorize vocabulary with the theme Part Of Body. This type of research uses research and development or what is called Research and Development, which follows the ADDIE research model developed by Dick and Carry. With the results of the material/content expert validation test results of 82%, the media/design validation test results 90%, the linguist validation test results 82%, the results of the learning practitioner experts at 86% and the student respondents' questionnaire results by 91%. From these results it can be stated that it is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Based on the results of the question activity 2 in the LKS, the pre-test got an average score of 46 and the post-test got an average score of 86. This can be concluded by using the English vocabulary card media, students' interest in learning is high and learning outcomes students increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegelisahan akademik peneliti perihal minimnya pembahasan secara intens terkait serat-serat peninggalan para pujangga era terdahulu. Padahal jika kita menengok kebelakang sesungguhnya banyak sekali substansi yang disuguhkan oleh serat-serat tersebut yang senyatanya masih relevan jika dipelajari dewasa ini. Selain itu, dengan mempelajari karya para pujangga pada era silam semakin meneguhkan bahwa para pendahulu bangsa ini bukan saja memiliki pengetahuan yang mumpuni bahkan memiliki peradaban yang sesungguhnya tidak kalah dengan temua-temuan yang ada di negara luar. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menemukan bahwa terdapat interelasi yang nyata antara nilai moral yang ada dalam serat Wedharaga karya Ranggawarsita dengan nilai moral dalam Akidah Akhlak SD/MI. Adapun upaya dalam memadu padankan agar benar-benar sampai pada peserta didik yakni dengan cara. Pertama, mengenalkan nilai moral dari kedua sumber terkait atau yang disebut dengan moral knowing. Langkah kedua adalah moral loving yakni memberikan kebiasaan nilai moral tertentu agar anak menyukainya. Ketiga dengan cara moral doing, membiasakan nilai moral yang baik dalam kehidupan harian.

Abstract

Self-confidence is needed by students to support their success in communicating. Students with high self-confidence will grow confident in themselves, and vice versa. Feelings of fear and inferiority are caused by a lack of self-confidence. One of the Indonesian language subjects at MI is orally retelling fables. This study found a lack of self-confidence in students, so the learning process is not optimal. Therefore, self-confidence is very necessary. This article seeks to reveal the ability to retell fable stories of MIN 6 Ponorogo students based on high, medium, and low self-confidence. To examine this problem, we used a qualitative descriptive method with observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation in order to obtain sufficient data. Data findings were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and inference. The findings show that students with high confidence are successful in retelling fable stories, both in language, content, and non-language. Students with moderate self-confidence have a tendency to be anxious, so the ability to retell fable stories is not achieved as expected. Students with low self-confidence tend to give up easily when retelling fable stories, so that linguistic, content, and non-language factors are not achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa kelas IV MIN 8 Magetan berdasarkan motivasi belajar tinggi, sedang dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan masalah FPB dan KPK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IV berjumlah 22 siswa kemudian di ambil 2 subjek kemampuan berpikir logis dengan motivasi belajar tinggi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes, angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi data ditemukan bahwa (1) siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis berdasarkan motivasi belajar tinggi mereka mampu menjawab semua soal tes dengan benar dan mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator kemampuan berpikir logis, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis berdasarkan motivasi belajar sedang mereka mampu memenuhi indikator kemampuan berpikir logis dan dapat menyelesaikan soal tes namun terdapat beberapa jawaban yang salah, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis berdasarkan motivasi belajar rendah mereka belum mampu memenuhi indikator kemampuan berpikir logis dan belum mampu menjawab soal tes dengan benar, (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir logis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah FPB dan KPK diantaranya: kurangnya motivasi belajar, siswa belum memahami materi, siswa masih kesulitan dalam perhitungan, siswa belum menguasai macam-macam soal yang berkaitan dengan FPB dan KPK sehingga tidak dapat menyelesaian permasalahan dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Ecoliteracy adalah level pemahaman siswa terhadap lingkungan dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku, dan spirit terhadap lingkungan. Dalam implementasi pembelajaran berbasis ecoliteracy,  maka seorang guru perlu mengelola pembelajarannya sesuai dengan muatan materi yang mengintegrasikan  antara materi berbasis ecoliteracy dan materi mata pelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku. Di MIN 2 Madiun, implementasi materi ecoliteracy dilakukan sejalan dengan pelaksanaan pendidikan lingkungan hidup di dalam program adiwiyata.  Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pengintegrasian materi ecoliteracy pada mata pelajaran keagamaan yang dilakukan oleh guru MIN 2 Madiun pada RPP serta menganalisis aspek ecoliteracy yang ada pada RPP. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data adalah dokumentasi  kurikulum serta guru penyusun kurikulum. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara dokumentasi dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini selain peneliti sebagai instrumen utama adalah daftar dokumen serta pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) integrasi materi ecoliteracy yang dilakukan di MIN 2 Madiun pada mata pelajaran keagaman dilakukan pada seluruh mata pelajaran keagamaan, yaitu Akidah Akhlak, Al-Qur’an Hadits, Fiqih, Bahasa Arab, dan SKI. Namun demikian tidak semua materi pada mata Pelajaran keagamaannya terintegrasi dengan muatan ecoliteracy. Materi ecoliteracy yang diintegrasikan meliputi: kebersihan-sanitasi-drainase, penanaman dan pemeliharaan pohon serta tumbuhan, kemudian konservasi air; 2) RPP mata pelajaran keagamaan yang mengintegrasikan materi ecoliteracy, telah mengimplementasikan aspek pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan, dan spirit pada komponen RPP yaitu pada komponen tujuan, materi, metode, langkah/kegiatan, sumber, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.
