Abstract

This study aimed to describe these things. (1) Figures and characterizations in Sang Pemimpi Novel. (2) The flow of Sang Pemimpi Novel. (3) Structure of Sang Pemimpi Novel. (4) Environmental issues in Sang Pemimpi Novel. 5) The problem of poverty Sang Pemimpi Novel. (6) The issue of social inequality in Sang Pemimpi Novel. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Data used in the form paragraphs which contain units of events regarding the social aspects related to social issues. Sources of data in the form of Sang Pemimpi Novel. The instrument of this study is the researchers themselves armed with a set of science concepts related to the problem under study. The data collection technique using the technique to read and record the techniques. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative focus on character and characterization, plot, setting, and social aspects related to social issues that include environmental concerns, problems of poverty and social imbalances in Sang Pemimpi Novel by Andrea Hirata. The results of this study as follows. (1) Figures and characterizations. The main character is a character that has the curls of hard work, religious, and ambitious. Additional characters are a) Arai who had unyielding and steadfast character, b) Jimbron who has a good-natured and reserved character, c) Mr. Balia who has a smart and thoughtful character, d) Mr. Mustar who has the character of discipline and care. (2) The flow of Sang Pemimpi Novelis the flow of the mixture. (3) Structure of Sang Pemimpi Novelis follows: (a) setting the place on Belitong island which include; Magai cities and buildings Theaters and in Bogor which include; Bogor terminal, copy center, post office, (b) setting a time around the 1980s and 1990s, (c) social background that lower class people's lives. (4) Environmental issues in Sang Pemimpi Novelis the exploitation PN Timah which cause environmental damage. (5) The problem of poverty in Sang Pemimpi Novel is when figures curls, Arai and Jimbron who could not sustain daily life. The problem of poverty is also experienced by prominent Mahander, Mak Cik Maryamah, Bang Zaitun and Laksmi. (6) The issue of social inequality in the novel The Dreamer is an imbalance in the lives of indigenous peoples of Belitong with the elite in the PN Timah.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the phonological differences of Standard Indonesian with Sambas Malay language and (2) to describe the differences of Indonesian Standard vocabulary with Sambas Malay. This type of research is a qualitative research that focuses on the designation of meaning, description, clarity, data placement in context. The data of this research are 200 basic vocabulary of Sambas language of West Kalimantan based on Swadesh List which is translated in Indonesian language. Data collection using the method refer, see libat ably, and record technique and recording techniques. The data analysis used in this research is the method of translational and articulatory phonetic, and using the law of appeal technique. The method of presentation of the results of this study was conducted by informal methods. The results of this study are (1) Differences in Indonesian phonology Standards with Sambas Malay Language (a) Corresponding differences include [a] - [e], [Ø] - [k], [n] - [ŋ], [h] - [k], [r] - [k], [t] - [k]. (b) irregular differences include [b] - [g], [o] - [u], [l] - [k]. (2) Differences in Indonesian vocabulary Standard with Sambas Malay language there are 18 vocabulary differences.

Abstract

Metacognitive strategies are the needs of today's students, for example, information processing processes. This is inseparable from the design of the steps of listening, listening, and post-listening learning. An essay test is used to analyze, evaluate, and create. In general, this study aims to develop learning media to listen to fairy tales based on Metacognitive strategies. Therefore, the research model of the development of Borg and Gall was used. Product trials involving learning media experts produced a product average of 75%, experts listened to 87%, 90% expert practitioners, and 91% field test students. Based on the test results from instructional media experts, learning media products are classified as feasible and ready to be implemented, but there are several aspects that need to be revised.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) describe the layout variations sound/dialect pronunciation Banyumas in the begalan art at Cilacap, (2) describe the dialect lexical variation Banyumas in the begalan art at Cilacap, and (3) describe the grammatical variations of dialect Banyumas in the begalan art at Cilacap. This research was done in three stages, namely stages of data collection, data analysts, as well as exposure data analysis. Collection/provision carried out by methods refer to and capable, is a sequel technique refer to techniques involved free conversation and record. In this study the data from the oral form of the language used by the player dialog begalan art in the village of Jepara Kulon Binangun District of Cilacap in which there are words in the form of dialect Banyumas. Source of data derived from the use of the language spoken by the player begalan art. Information obtained in the form of dialogue sound used by players begalan art. After that, the data is classified and analyzed using the methods of unified referential. Afterwards, the data was analyzed qualitatively in terms of interpretation and inference. Results of this study are as follows. (1) Variation of the sound system / dialect pronunciation Banyumas contained in begalan in Cilacap art can be classified into two, namely vocal variety, ie the phoneme / i / is pronounced [i], the phoneme / u / pronounced [u], the phoneme / a / is pronounced [a] and the variation of the consonants, the phoneme / b / is pronounced [B], the phoneme / g / is pronounced [g], the phoneme / k / is pronounced [k], and the phoneme / w / is pronounced [w]. (2) Variation lexical dialect Banyumas in the art begalan in Cilacap variations lexical innovation, substitution, addition, and subtraction. (3) The variation of grammatical Banyumas dialect different from other dialects, including the standard dialect (Yogyakarta and Solo).Variasi Banyumas dialect grammatical form variations and variations affix reduplication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows. (1) describe novel structural Upacara in the view of Levi-Strauss. (2) Describe the conflict contained in the novel Upacara. (3) Describe the role of shaman that exist in the novel Upacara. This type of qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study is mitem-mitem that describes the structure of the novel, the conflict and the role of shaman figures. Source of data used is primary data source in the form of a novel Upacara by Korrie Layun Rampan. Instruments in this study are the researchers themselves who are already equipped with the concepts, theories of myth, ritual and structuralism Levi-Strauss and other supporting theory. Data collection methods used in this study is a formal method. The data collection technique used is the technique of reading and quotation. Data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive qualitative technique that exposes and describes the data that has been obtained is clear and rests on a structural view of Levi-Strauss. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The structure of the novel Upacara was divided into 18 episodes. Each episode that illustrates the relationships and opposition antarmitem showing the overall meaning of the conflicts in a society of Dayak Benuaq, and the role of balian in leading the ceremonies. (2) Conflicts are contained in the novel Upacara by Korrie Layun Rampan happened between communities of Dayak Benuaq and strangers. Community Dayak Benuaq trying to protect the natural and their trust. The foreigners trying to destroy the nature that has been preserved and introduce God or religion to tribal communities of Dayak Benuaq. (3) The role of leaders healers are contained in the novel Upacara is as traditional elders, as leader of traditional ceremonies, as interpreter recovered, and as a judge fairly.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the use / application of Jigsaw II cooperative learning in enhancing the ability of quantitative data analysis courses students of educational research 5th semester,  Indonesian Language and Literature Teaching, FKIP, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Data action type of cooperative learning of Jigsaw II is collected by observation. Data on the student's ability quantitative analysis of the data collected by the testing techniques. Student response data on cooperative learning of Jigsaw II is collected by interview. The analyzed data is qualitative data is data from the learning process of planning, action, reflection to assign actions I. Based on the results of research and discussion since the first cycle to cycle dengan III can be concluded that cooperative learning of Jigsaw model II (1) improve the ability to apply the formula of quantitative analysis in the course of educational research. Increased ability  proved that (a) the competence of the central tendency meenerapkan formula of 60%, 75% to 90%; (B) the competence to apply the formula of correlation analysis with a standard deviation of 72%, 84%, to 84%; (C) the competence to apply the formula of correlation analysis with a deviation of 40%, 66%, to 85%; (D) the competence to apply the formula of correlation analysis with the original data of 40%, 68%, to 88%; € competencies and comparative analysis with t test of 56%, 64% to 80%. (2) can improve the quality of learning characterized by increasingly effective student learning time with the group and the more effective in assessing the quality of the students themselves

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and explain (1) plot, (2) figure and character, (3) setting, (4) reality of life from boarding school, (5) religiosity A. Mustofa Bisri, and (6) creative process A. Mustofa Bisri in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this research area. (1) Plot used is a progress manner and flashback. (2) ) Figure and character is Gus Jakfar: always curious, figure ‘aku’: wise, Ustadz Bachri: not easily hopeless, humble, Kang Amin: not easily give up. Meanwhile is available figure additional that is Kiai Tawakkal, Nabi Khidir, Hardi, Kiai Nur, Samsuddin. (3) geographical settings in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi: Sabilul Muttaqin Boarding School, Pesantren Bambu, house of figure ‘aku’, house of Ustadz Bachri, the warehouse of Ustadz Bachri, and exhibition location, Tanwirul ‘Uquul Boarding School, city of recitation location. The social setting is muslim society in rural and life of santri. Time setting is night and daytime. (4) the reality of life from boarding school in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi seen from the interaction which becomes aware antartokoh and between relation kiai, santri, and family ndalem boarding school in layer santri society. (5) Religiosity A. Mustofa Bisri relevance in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi seen from activities religious, as recitation or dakwah with all his experience which pictured all short story. (6) Creative process A. Mustofa Bisri in anthology short story Lukisan Kaligrafi be born and processed from the life of A. Mustofa Bisri which not far dakwah world.

Abstract

This study examines Fawaizul Umam’s Lelaki yang Kembali Menemui Iblis short story by applying Derrida's deconstruction theory. This study will try to answer whether the novel deconstructs binary opposition between goods and evils or establish the opposition in hierarchy. The result shows that there are pairs of oppositions created in the novel abort themselves and postpone the meaning structures they have.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the type of Language style and (2) the function of the artist language style used in social media. This type of this study is qualitative descriptive. The data is a sentence in the artist status in social media that contains the type of language style and function language style. Data obtained from the language that used an artist in social media. The technique of collecting data is method refer by using the free conversation and note techniques. Methods of data analysis are a unified orthographic method, whereas basic methods such as the method of sorting technique and match certain elements.  The presentation method of the data is informal techniques. The study result on artist status in social media is as follows. 1 the type of  language style that used the artist in social media is as following: (a) the language style affirmation consisting  of:  (1)  aferesis  (2)  alonim  (3)  simploke  (4)  bombastis  (5)  esklamasio  (6) invocation (7 ) anaphora, (b) the comparisons language style which consists of: (1) allusion (2) antonomasia (3) hyperbole (4) litotes (5) personification (6) simile, (c) the opposition language style consisting of: (1) paradox (2) kontradiksio, (d) the satire language style satire consisting of: (1) irony (2) wordplay (3) sarcasm (4) cynicism, 2 the language function style that used the artist in social media include the following: ( a) the language style used to create a state of inner feelings, such as happy, sad and angry (b) the language style is used as a tool to influence and convince the reader or listener (c) the language style serves as a tool to reinforce the effect of the ideas presented.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) the increase in student activity, and (2) an increase in the ability to listen to the news information using audiovisual media in class X B SMA PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This study is a collaborative action research. The research subjects were 24 students, learning research object listen to audiovisual media. The method used in this research is observation, testing, and interview validity of the data with content validity and students’ interaction with students, students, and teachers, as well as the score. The results showed (1) students activity increased, their mean on prusiks 54,16%, 70,83% the first cycle and the second cycle to 83,33%. (2) the ability to listen to the new information that students increase their mean prasiklus 12,5%, 66,66% the first cycle, and became 91,66% in the second cycle.
