This research is aimed to grasp understanding about the improvement of students' courage in speaking through show and tell activity by using media of images for the 4th grader students in Jetis 2 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta. This is an action classroom research, which has been conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The subject of this research is all 4th grader students of Jetis 2 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta, academic year of 2014/2015, which consists of 12 students, 6 male students and 6 female students. The data collecting techniques employed are observation and working performance by using indicator matrix of students' speaking courage, the skill of showing and telling and also the process of show and tell activities in class.In addition, this research also employs documentation technique, in the form of photos during the occurrence of the research process. The analysis technique in this research uses descriptive qualitative technique. The results of the research are presented as follow: show and tell method can improve the students' speaking courage 23,61% (formerly it was 55,38% reaching up to 78,99%), the skill of show and tell of 27,43% (from 56,25% reaching up to 83,68%) and the process show and tell is 9,03% (from 72,91% reaching up to 81,94%).

Internet-based learning or e-learning is one of today's learning, along with technological advances; e-learning is increasingly easy to be applied in the learning process. Teachers or lecturers can use it to support the learning process; in addition, learners also find it easy to access the learning. E-learning can be used as a way of character education implementation. It is because basically the concept of e-learning can build the character of each learner through the features or characteristics of e-learning. Some of the characteristics that are built from the application of e-learning characteristic are responsibility, discipline, self reliance, communicative, peace-loving, honest, democratic, and loving achievement.

The purpose of this research is to determine the enhancement of students’ interest and science learning outcomes of second grade students in SD Negeri Wirosaban Academic Year 2016/2017 through the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). This is a classroom action research (PTK). The students’ interest and science learning outcomes increased in the amount of 14,82%. It can be indicated by the increase of the percentage average of students’ interest based on the questionnaire results for each cycle, for instance in the first cycle, there is an increase from 73,43% to 79,82% in Cycle II. In the pre cycles stage, the percentage of completeness is 35,71% or 10 completed students. Once given a cycle action, the percentage of science mastery increases to 60,71% or 17 completed students. Then in cycle two, there is an increased to 100% or all students experience mastery with an average value of 84,46.

The underlying reason that triggersthe researcher to conduct this study is the lack of facilities and lack of media so that it is initiated to overcome the learning shortagein class to be an interactive learning that is not in the form of paper based learning considered to be not alive and monotonous.The problems that is analysed in this research is how do media development establish interactive learning to overcome the learning shortage by using Macromedia Flash 8 so that it is able to be a media of learning on the social subjects for students of fifth grade in primary school? The purpose of the research is to find out the steps in developing Macromedia Flash 8 to be implemented in learning process to fill out the shortage of learning in SD N 02 Mranggen, Demak. This is a research and development research. The population of the research is all students in SD N 02 Mranggen, Demak academic year of 2017/2018. The sample of the research is 33 students of fifth grade. The technique of data collection uses the scale of Likert and Guttman. The data of the research is obtained through the observation and other economic indicators. The propose future design of this research is the development of the interactive learning by utilizing the advance support of Macromedia Flash 8 that is created. According to the freedom on learning material designing for social subject, it is worthwhile to implement this learning model to fifth grade students in the second semester under the curriculum of school (KTSP Curriculum). The validation process is carried out in two ways, include validation from media experts which shows the result of 90.5% with two categories are considered to be very good and validation from material designer experts showing the result of 85 % with two categories are considered to be very good. According to the research result, it is recommended to develop and implement the interactive media by using Macromedia Flash 8 as one of the alternative media in classroom teaching and learning process.

This study aims to understand the influence of the storytelling method towards the third-grade studentsâ€™ character in doing cooperation in Pujokusuman Yogyakarta Elementary School. The research is research quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent-group pretest-posttest research design. The subject of the study is the students of class III B and III C Pujokusuman Yogyakarta Elementary School consisted of 49 students. Class III B isconsisted of 24 students and it becomes the class control, while class III C is consisted of 25 students and it becomes the class experiment. The researchers utilized observation sheet as the research instrument. The data analyzing technique was conducted through the first independent sample t-test with the significance 5 % (alpha = 0,05). This research result indicates that storytelling method is significant in increasing the third-grade studentsâ€™ character in doing cooperation in Pujokusuman Yogyakarta Elementary School. This is proven by the t-test resulted 0,00 < 0,05; so H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant difference between the average observation result of the studentsâ€™ character in doing cooperation in the two classes: class control and class experiment. From the research result, it can be concluded that storytelling method enhances the third-grade studentsâ€™ character value in doing cooperation in Pujokusuman Yogyakarta Elementary School.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the relationship of emotional intelligence could affect the achievement of the mathematics learning of fourth graders in SD Negeri Kutabumi IV Tangerang District. This research is a type of survey research with correlation technique. Samples studied were 34 respondents who are thestudents of grade IV-C at SD Negeri Kutabumi IV Tangerang District. The data of emotional intelligence (X) was obtained through a questionnaire consisting of 26 items and the data of mathematics learning achievement (Y) collected through the score recorded from the UAS (Final Exam) grades. The results of this study showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the learning achievement of Mathematics with a correlation of 0,580 and with the regression equation Ã = 4,55 + 0,74X and the coefficient of determination of 0,3364 which means that emotional intelligence has a contribution of 33,64% towards the achievement of the mathematics learning.

This research is conducted due to by the ongoing occurrence of the studentsâ€™ low conceptual understanding in the mathematical fraction. The students perceived that mathematical fraction is difficult to understand because the use of learning models is not appropriate in the learning process. This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding of class III students through the application of the Kumon model. The method used in this study is a Class Action Research method by adopting the Kemmis Mc Taggart Model. This research was carried out in three cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 21 students in the third-grade consisting of 17 men and 4women. The researchers employed formative test in each cycle and conducted observation towards the teacher and the students as the data collection technique. The results of the average completeness of student learning through formative tests in cycle I was 69.62 (48%), cycle II was 77.71 (71%), and cycle III was 84.67 (100%). The results of the observation on teacher in each cycle were cycle I was 2.7 (enough), cycle II was 3.2 (good) and cycle III was 4.4 (very good). The results of the observation on students in each cycle were cycle I was 2.6 (enough), cycle II was 3.0 (good) and cycle III was 3.9 (very good). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Kumon model can improve the conceptual understanding of third-grade students of Majalengka Kulon VII Elementary School, academic year of 2016/2017, in Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency.

This study aims at studying the national examination conducted by â€œPhytagorasâ€ Mathematics Course. This research is a descriptive study conducted to test the national examination of elementary school, specifically in its mathematics subject. The data used in this research is the results of Indonesian national exam simulation test conducted by â€œPhytagorasâ€ mathematics course in 2017. The data of this study are obtained from 919 sixth-grade students who had accomplished mathematical tutoring in â€œPhytagorasâ€ mathematics course. The results of the data analysis showed that there are 5 out of 40 mathematical test items that need to be evaluated due to its level of difficulty. Those five items are suggested to be reformatted and revised for the improvements of the next national exam simulation test.

The right view of inclusive education is very influential on the success of the implementation of inclusive education, starting from the policies applied, routines that will bring up a culture of acceptance of diversity and the implementation of classroom learning. The principal becomes the agent of change and as the main key in the development, initiator of innovation and decision making on the implementation of inclusive education until the realization of the success of the implementation practices in school. The purpose of this study is to explain the principal's view of inclusive education in Yogyakarta Elementary School. Questionnaires were distributed to 25 principals in elementary schools in five districts in Yogyakarta Special Region. The results showed that the majority of principals in SD DIY have a narrow view of inclusive education, which is still limited to the acceptance of children with special needs, but the majority of principals agree and are open that children with special needs for school and study together with other children in the classroom regular / general.

This study aims to obtain the learning plan of the physical education in inclusive elementary schools, find out the learning process and identify physical education learning strategies in inclusive elementary schools in Yogyakarta city. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques in this study employed direct field observation techniques during the learning process of Physical Education, direct interview towards theteachers of physical education and mentoring teachers, and documentation by collecting various images or data that support this research. The study was conducted in 3 elementary schools: 1) Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, 2) SD Negeri Baciro and 3) SD Negeri Pakel. Data were collected through the techniques of direct observation, interviews, and documentation so that they can yield overview and conclusion regarding to the learning strategies. The results of the research showed that in the planning of physical learning, there should be more serious and better preparation regarding to the syllabus, lesson plans and assessment. In the process of learning physical education, the research result showed that some students with special needs for athletic sports, especially running subject does not need significant adjustment, however blind students and deaf students felt that they need some adjustment in the running subject. There are a number of physical learning strategies for students with special needs including the use of appropriate language, making task sequences, allocation of time for learning, modification of the games/ sports rules and learning environments.
