Abstract

Assessment on the 2013 Curriculum focuses on performance assessment. Performance assessment as a broad-range assessment of student activity in which students are not only able to complete sentences, write essays but conduct research, investigations, analyze situations and data, to communicate and collaborate. Therefore, the students real performance to build performance naturally and at the same time develop thinking, reasoning, intellectual, and self-mating skills. Assessment of the product as a basis for student assessment because it requires students to apply the initial knowledge to solve problems that are realistic experienced students. Students solve various problems encountered and then expressed through the explanation he made either in the form of writing, pictures, or other products. The development of the century is characterized by increasingly fierce competition in both the business world and the world of work. Appropriate, the process of learning, especially at the elementary school equip students development entrepreneurial spirit and have life skills.

Abstract

This research is conducted due to by the ongoing occurrence of the students’ low conceptual understanding in the mathematical fraction. The students perceived that mathematical fraction is difficult to understand because the use of learning models is not appropriate in the learning process. This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding of class III students through the application of the Kumon model. The method used in this study is a Class Action Research method by adopting the Kemmis Mc Taggart Model. This research was carried out in three cycles including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 21 students in the third-grade consisting of 17 men and 4women. The researchers employed formative test in each cycle and conducted observation towards the teacher and the students as the data collection technique. The results of the average completeness of student learning through formative tests in cycle I was 69.62 (48%), cycle II was 77.71 (71%), and cycle III was 84.67 (100%). The results of the observation on teacher in each cycle were cycle I was 2.7 (enough), cycle II was 3.2 (good) and cycle III was 4.4 (very good). The results of the observation on students in each cycle were cycle I was 2.6 (enough), cycle II was 3.0 (good) and cycle III was 3.9 (very good). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Kumon model can improve the conceptual understanding of third-grade students of Majalengka Kulon VII Elementary School, academic year of 2016/2017, in Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are still low which have not been developed optimally in the learning process. Learning still emphasizes the cognitive realm while the affective and psychomotor domains of students are ruled out. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes including the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of fifth grade students at elementary school of Sukarajakulon IV. This research is a Class Action Research covering the steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used were tests, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. In the initial conditions students' mastery learning only reached 30%, the first cycle of student learning completeness increased to 75%, and the second cycle of student learning completeness reached 95%. The results of the study show that through Inquiry Model Based on Roaming Nature around can significantly improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Emphasis on learning in the 2013 Curriculum puts forward the development of knowledge, attitudes and skills of students. The Scientific Approach is believed to be a gold platform to produce quality human resources because the learning process is scientific.As we know in Elementary School learning emphasizes on memorization alone where students must memorize all the material that has been learned.Rote learning is certainly not meaningful for students because students will easily forget what they have learned.The ability that students must possess is one of them is critical thinking.Scientific based inquiry needs to be applied in improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in elementary school.Inquiry-based scientific learning models cultivate scientific thinking skills,developing sense of inquiry and students' creative thinking skills.Through writing about inquiry-based scientific inquiry empirically it can be used as an effort to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Multimedia merupakan gabungan dari beberapa media untuk menyampaikan informasi. Contoh media yang dimaksud adalah teks, gambar, video, musik, bahkan animasi. Guru dapat memanfaatkan multimedia sebagai media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar melalui pemanfaatan multimedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan beberapa sumber yang terpercaya dan relevan dengan penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify, describe and analyze the results of several primary studies on the effect of the PBL model on the creative thinking skills in science. Systematic literature review (SLR) was used as the method in this study, through searches on the Google Scholar and DOAJ databases from 2018 to 2022, resulting in 15 primary studies that met the specified inclusion criteria. Each article was recorded and then classified based on title, year of study, level of education, and type of research to be analyzed one by one. The results showed that PBL had an influence on the development of students' creative thinking skills science learning, because with the PBL model the learning process applied student-centered problem-based learning activities with the teacher acting as a facilitator, and involving students in independent discovery activities through collaboration between students in small groups to solve problems representatively. So that PBL is suitable to be applied to achieve the goals and urgency of learning, especially in developing students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan media yang kurang menarik membuat siswa kurang berminat dalam belajar, akhirnya menyebabkan siswa sulit dalam memahami materi dan sulit dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Media pembelajaran yang menunjang dalam proses pembelajaran yang menarik adalah media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan media berbasis digital pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literasture Review (SLR). Penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan review dan mengidentifikasi artikel yang sudah dikumpulkan secara terstruktur. Artikel-artikel yang digunakan diperoleh dari Google Scholar, Erik Journal, dan Scopus dengan rentang tahun 2018-2023. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beragam media pembelajaran digital yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah Dasar, seperti flipbook, komik digital, e-scrapbook, ular tangga digital, google sites, ethno-STEM, Quizwhizzer, multimedia interaktif, dan instagram. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran IPA akan menjadikan pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan menarik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi media yang tepat dalam pembelajaran IPA tentang sistem pencernaan manusia sebagai upaya meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan artikel dari Google Scholar dan Scopus periode 2019 hingga 2023 dan menggunakan tinjauan pustaka berupa Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Meskipun banyak media yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia, namun menurut penelitian ini, media pop-up book dan komik merupakan media paling banyak digunakan untuk pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar, khususnya tentang sistem pencernaan manusia. Hal ini dikarenakan komik dan buku bergambar pop-up book menarik dan dapat digunakan secara praktis dalam proses pembelajaran. Media tersebut terbukti dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, yaitu dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, minat belajar, pemahaman konsep, prestasi akademik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of holistic education in global learning using a bibliometric analysis approach. Drawing data from 1,000 articles published between 1970 and 2024, this analysis identifies key themes, influential authors, and collaboration patterns in the field of holistic education. The findings reveal that holistic education research is centered on themes like higher education, sustainability, and transformative learning, reflecting the field's response to global challenges. Collaboration networks show strong international partnerships, with notable contributions from the United States, United Kingdom, and emerging interest in Asian countries. The analysis also highlights the application of holistic education in specialized areas such as medical and nursing education, emphasizing its relevance to fostering well-rounded professionals. However, challenges persist in assessment methods, cultural adaptability, and technological integration, indicating areas for future research. This study provides a comprehensive overview of holistic education, underscoring its potential to address the educational needs of a globalized world while identifying critical directions for further development.

Abstract

Local wisdom can be inherited from generation to generation because it plays an important role in preserving the cultural identity of the community in the midst of the rapid pace of modernization and globalization. Teachers play an important role in integrating learning with local wisdom of the local area through teaching materials. Indonesia has a wealth of important local traditions and wisdom and must be preserved from negative external influences. Local values function to maintain the welfare of the Indonesian people in the current era. Community service activities were carried out for 20 teachers at SD Negeri 1 Sindang Kepeng, Greged District, Cirebon Regency, West Java. Training in making teaching materials based on local wisdom utilizes the use of the canva application. The service method used in this activity consists of 3 stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The training process went well from the beginning to the end of the activity. Training activities include: pretest, material delivery, training, postest, evaluation and reflection. This training can increase teachers' knowledge and competence in designing and producing teaching materials for local wisdom using the Canva application.
