Abstract

Internet-based learning or e-learning is one of today's learning, along with technological advances; e-learning is increasingly easy to be applied in the learning process. Teachers or lecturers can use it to support the learning process; in addition, learners also find it easy to access the learning. E-learning can be used as a way of character education implementation. It is because basically the concept of e-learning can build the character of each learner through the features or characteristics of e-learning. Some of the characteristics that are built from the application of e-learning characteristic are responsibility, discipline, self reliance, communicative, peace-loving, honest, democratic, and loving achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat dan mengetahui kelayakan media digital mainan tradisional untuk pembelajaran seni budaya Sekolah Dasar (SD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RD melalui menganalisis, mendesain, mengembangkan, melaksanakan, dan menilai media digital mainan tradisional. Media digital mainan tradisional bersumber dari beberapa mainan anak tradisional yang ditemukan di Yogyakarta, Magelang, Klaten, Sleman, dan Bantul untuk dikembangkan menjadi media pembelajaran digital untuk anak SD. Mainan anak tradisional tersebut bersumber dari seni budaya tradisi yaitu kesenian wayang kulit purwo sebagai ide penciptaan maianan anak seperti umbul, wayang kertas, hiasan buku, hiasan pensil dan sebagainya sebagai maianan anak yang mengajarkan literasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Penggunaan media ini diharapkan dapat menstimulasi berbagai aspek perkembangan anak pada tahap operasional konkret. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru dan berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi ahli media, ditemukan bahwa media ini layak digunakan untuk mengajarkan literasi budaya tradisi lokal kepada anak SD, literasi matematika seperti pada dakon dan dapat pula sebagai sumber ide anak untuk cerita dan sumber ide menggambar. Kata kunci: mainan anak, media dan seni budaya Development of traditional toy-art media for children's cultural arts learning AbstractThis study aims to create and determine the feasibility of digital media for traditional toys for learning arts and culture in Elementary Schools (SD). The research method used is RD through analysing, designing, developing, implementing, and assessing digital media for traditional toys. Digital media for traditional toys is sourced from several traditional children's toys found in Yogyakarta, Magelang, Klaten, Sleman, and Bantul to be developed into digital learning media for elementary school children. The traditional children's toys are sourced from traditional cultural arts, namely the art of wayang kulit purwo as an idea for creating toys such as banners, paper puppets, book decorations, pencil decorations and so on, as children's toys teach literacy of local cultural values. This media is expected to stimulate various aspects of children's development at the concrete operational stage. Based on the results of interviews with teachers and based on the assessment of material experts media experts, it was found that this media is suitable for teaching local traditional cultural literacy to elementary school children, mathematical literacy as in Dakon and can also be a source of children's ideas for stories and sources of drawing ideas.              Keywords: traditional children's toys, media, and cultural arts

Abstract

Abstract Education has an important role in developing the potential of a student. For this reason, innovation is needed in improving learning. This study aims to find out the steps for applying the demonstration method and student learning outcomes in science learning the material for the water cycle stages of class V SD Negeri Sidarum in 2021/2022. The research was carried out in class V, which consisted of 19 students, consisting of 8 male students and 11 female students. The design used in this study was classroom action research (CAR) using two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Methods of data collection using observation and tests. The instruments used in this study were student activity observation sheets and student learning outcomes assessment sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and descriptive quantitative analysis. The demonstration method can improve science learning outcomes about the water cycle in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Sidarum in the 2021/2022 academic year, this can be proven by research results showing that the passing rate of student learning outcomes has increased from 75% to 89.48%. Based on the analysis and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in science learning about water cycle material in class V SD Negeri Sidarum for the academic year 2021/2022. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and effectiveness of Canva application-based audio-visual learning media in the context of Thematic learning. This research uses the R&D method using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, in this study, only the Development stage is carried out because the goal is only limited to developing and producing learning media that are feasible to be implemented, based on assessments and suggestions from validators. The output of this research is a product in the form of learning media and articles that will be published in accredited national journals. TKT in this study is 1.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah merupakan limbah yang sering dihasilkan dari sisa penggorengan rumah tangga maupun pedagang. Tepatnya di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan, Yogyakarta mayoritas masyarakat yang masih membuang limbah rumah tangga minyak jelantah begitu saja tanpa adanya pengelolaan kembali agar lebih ramah lingkungan. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan minyak jelantah menyebabkan limbah ini sering terbuang begitu saja. Limbah minyak jelantah  yang dibuang begitu saja tanpa diolah kembali akan mencemari lingkungan dan kesehatan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada penulis memiliki tujuan yaitu dengan diberikannya pemahaman dan pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan,Yogyakarta masyarakat dapat lebih menjaga kelestarian lingkungan serta mampu merubah limbah minyak jelantah menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan projek yaitu dengan (1) pelatihan; (2) demonstrasi; (3) pendampingan; (4) evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Mei 2024. Lokasi projek berada di Dusun Pawirodirjan, Gondomanan,Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan Abdimas ini yaitu masyarakat  menjadi  memiliki pengetahuan mengenai bahaya minyak jelantah bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan serta dapat memanfaatkan limbah menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis. Menjadi peluang usaha bagi ibu-ibu PKK untuk menambah pendapatan setiap harinya sehingga mampu menciptakan ruang UMKM bagi ibu-ibu PKK Dusun Pawirodirjan. Kata kunci: Lilin aroma terapi, Minyak jelantah, Pengelolaan limbah, Pelatihan.

Abstract

This paper explains the implementation of environmental literacy in elementary schools and explores strategies to strengthen environmental literacy through school culture. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods, and the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The research was conducted at SD N Keputran 1, and the research courses included one principal, two teachers, and two fourth grade students. This paper highlights the activities that have been pursued in implementing environmental literacy in schools, including routine habituation, example, and learning through positive habits of school culture. This paper also discusses the obstacles faced by schools in implementing environmental literacy and strategies developed by schools to strengthen environmental literacy, such as developing school policies, developing education-based curricula, developing participatory-based activities, and managing or developing school support facilities.

Abstract

Pengenalan pariwisata lokal kepada generasi muda di lingkungan sekolah marjinal memiliki tantangan tersendiri, terutama dalam memanfaatkan metode edukasi yang menarik dan efektif. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pariwisata di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) melalui permainan edukatif MoJoG (Monopoli Wisata Jogja), yang dirancang sebagai alat belajar interaktif berbasis permainan monopoli. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah marjinal di Yogyakarta dengan melibatkan siswa-siswa yang memiliki akses terbatas terhadap informasi pariwisata. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pengenalan permainan, praktik bermain, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa permainan MoJoG berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang berbagai destinasi wisata di DIY dan mendorong minat mereka untuk mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut. Selain itu, pendekatan ini turut membangun keterampilan komunikasi dan kerja sama siswa selama sesi permainan berlangsung. Evaluasi melalui kuesioner dan diskusi kelompok memperlihatkan bahwa siswa merasa lebih tertarik dengan pembelajaran berbasis permainan dibandingkan metode tradisional. Kesimpulan dari program ini menekankan bahwa permainan edukatif seperti MoJoG dapat menjadi media efektif dalam pengenalan budaya dan pariwisata, serta memiliki potensi untuk diadopsi di sekolah-sekolah lain, terutama yang berada di area terpencil. Program ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam mempromosikan kesadaran wisata dan memperkuat identitas lokal di kalangan siswa

Abstract

Critical thinking in Natural Sciences (IPA) learning at the elementary school level is essential to develop students' analytical and evaluative abilities. The research discussed in this paper is a systematic literature review related to blended learning, critical thinking, and science published in the last five years. Using scoping reviews, 41 articles were selected for this systematic literature review based on seven research questions. The implications of this conclusion show that applying a constructivist-based blended learning model can improve students' understanding of concepts and learning motivation. However, its success depends on technological readiness, teacher skills, and infrastructure support. To achieve optimal effectiveness, continuous efforts are needed to improve student access to technology, provide intensive training for teachers, and strengthen cooperation between schools, parents, and the government. Without this support, the full potential of blended learning in science learning in elementary schools may be challenging to achieve.

Abstract

The 2022 Merdeka curriculum for primary schools is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia for implementation for the 2022–2023 school year. This policy analysis aimed to thoroughly criticize the policy aspects of the 2022 Merdeka primary school curriculum for obtaining a prescription for the future. The method of policy analysis in the form of narrative discussion was used to obtain adequate prescriptive results. The results obtained from this policy analysis showed that changes in the Merdeka curriculum in 2022 for primary schools would be incremental. Changing the curriculum followed the innovation process so that innovation attributes were met. The 2022 Merdeka curriculum for primary schools was to restore the regressed learning quality and prepare for the golden generation of 2045. The Character Education Strengthening Program and the Pancasila Student Profile Program demonstrate that ethics education is critical to the golden generation's success.

Abstract

Many implementations of cooperative learning have been carried out, but the selection of cooperative learning models still needs to be investigated. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning models such as the Group Investigation (GI) model, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), and Jigsaw on critical and creative thinking skills in science learning in fourth-grade students in elementary school. The research uses a quantitative research approach. The research sample was randomly selected from 75 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected by using the critical and creative thinking skills test method. The test instrument is structured with indicators of critical and creative thinking variables which are applied in the study of science learning. The research instrument is in the form of a description test that has met the validity and reliability tests. The technique of data analysis was done with a Multivariate Analysis Of Variance. The results show that the critical and creative thinking skills obtained sig. of 0.001 <0.05, which means that the cooperative learning model significantly affects critical and creative thinking skills multivariate. Meanwhile, post hoc testing shows that the GI model is superior for improving critical and creative thinking skills. Keywords:  Cooperative learning model, Critical thinking skills, Creative thinking
