Abstract

Regional economic development is a process that aims to increase the yield of existing resources, create new jobs, and advance economic activities. This study is quantitative descriptive, using GDP data based on constant prices and economic growth of NTB province as well as Indonesia's GDP and economic growth during the period 2018-2022. The analysis was carried out using the Location Quotient (LQ) technique. The LQ value for the agricultural sector shows that the food crops sub-sector reached 2.33, horticultural crops 1.20, livestock 1.50, agricultural and hunting services 1.29, and fisheries 1.02. The flagship sector has an LQ value of 1.75, while mining and quarrying reaches 2.16. For the large trade and retail sectors, the LQ value is 1.02, transportation and warehousing 1.40, real estate 1.02, government administration 1.52, education services 1.49, health services 1.68, and other services 1.19. The agricultural sector in West Nusa Tenggara is the base sector, and this increase in income will drive demand for goods in the base sector, thus encouraging investment in the sector. The business sector of West Nusa Tenggara Province is divided into 4 classifications of each of these sectors, including: Superior Sector: There are Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sectors, Mining Sector, Large Trade and Retail Sector; car and motorcycle repair, real estate sector, government administration sector, defense and compulsory social security, education services sector, health services sector and social activities, and other sectors.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the financial performance of PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk uses the concept of economic value added (EVA). The type of descriptive research and quantitative approach used in this research and PT's annual financial reports. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk as a secondary data source. The results of this research found that PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk during the observation period had quite strong financial performance, this is indicated by the EVA value > 0; meaning PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk is able to generate added economic value during the 2019-2023 period.

Abstract

This study analyzes the quality of raw water and production water in refillable drinking water in Geragai District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency to see the feasibility of refillable drinking water in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health. Sampling using total sampling techniques and laboratory analysis of samples measured in terms of physical, chemical and biological parameters in accordance with the Indonesian national standard method (SNI). Based on the results of physical tests, namely Total Dissolve Solid (TDS), it shows that the test results meet quality standards according to applicable regulations. The results of chemical tests show that there are two parameters that do not meet the requirements in raw water, namely Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn). Fe concentrations ranged from 2.71-3.09 mg/L with a quality standard of 0.2 mg/L and Mn concentrations ranged from 0.046-0.108 mg/L with a quality standard of 0.1 mg/L. While other chemical parameters hardness meet the established requirements. The results of microbiology laboratory tests showed that all samples contained coliform bacteria with concentrations between 1.6-7.8 per 100 ml in raw water and 3-15 per 100 ml in production water with the required quality standard of 0 per 100 ml. The results showed that refillable drinking water in Geragai sub-district needs to be monitored by the local health office and regular cleaning for depot owners.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development procedure, level of validity, and level of product practicality for a Quiziz-based summative evaluation of material on changes in the shape of objects in class III of SD Negeri 55/1 Sridadi, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency. This research is research and development (development research) which uses two models in development research, namely 4D and ADDIE. This research concludes that the development of a Quizizz-based summative evaluation on material changing the shape of objects in class III of SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi has had a positive influence on both students and teachers. The Quizizz application can be an effective alternative for summative evaluation in elementary schools, especially at SDN 55/I Sridadi.

Abstract

This research aims to visualize research trends regarding the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the human brain through bibliometric analysis. Data was obtained from the Scopus database of 1424 documents from 1983-2024. The results of this research found that artificial intelligence and the brain have developed increasingly rapidly in recent years along with technological developments. A better understanding of the distribution and trends of this research will hopefully reveal key concepts that support the development of AI and its impact on the human brain.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of social media, product quality and price on purchasing decisions for Somethingnc in Sidoarjo. This research uses quantitative methods, sampling using purposive sampling. Respondents numbered 100 participants and used a questionnaire, then the data was analyzed using SPSS. The results of this research reveal that simultaneously and partially there is a significant influence between social media variables, product quality and price on the decision to purchase Somethingnc in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

In this study, the purpose of this study was to deepen information about sex determination, especially sex determination in humans. The research method used is the literature review method by utilizing several sources, both national and international journals related to relevant research results on "Sex determination". The results of the study showed that the sex determination system in humans depends entirely on the combination of sex chromosomes, without the influence of environmental or epigenetic factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic branding and store displays on purchasing decisions for Muslim clothing at the Mahabatullah Jambi Store. The population used in this research were consumers who had purchased Muslim fashion products at the Mahabatullah Jambi Store. The research method used was quantitative with a sample size of 67 respondents. The data analysis methods used are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that simultaneously and partially there is a positive and significant influence between Islamic branding and store displays on the decision to purchase Muslim clothing at the Mahabatullah Jambi Store.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the condition of the Mata Kucing Tourist Forest as one of the natural tourist attractions in Batam City, Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative analysis approach and a SWOT analysis tool, this research evaluates the internal and external factors that influence the management and development of the Mata Kucing Tourism Forest area. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and observations. The research results show that the area has strengths in its strategic location, adequate facilities and attractive natural environment. However, several weaknesses such as lack of promotion and sufficient supervision are challenges. Opportunities for development include the use of public transport, affordability and animal diversity. The threat is mainly related to the prices of food and drinks in tourist forests. Based on the SWOT analysis, a development strategy is proposed to exploit internal strengths and external opportunities while overcoming internal weaknesses and anticipating external threats.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and prove the influence of leadership style and discipline on work motivation and its influence on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 171 people. Apart from questionnaires, data was also collected through short interviews. This research uses a quantitative approach with the analysis techniques used are multiple regression models and path analysis. The research results show that an effective leadership style has a positive effect on employee work motivation. Likewise, high work discipline significantly increases employee motivation. This research also proves that work motivation can act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between leadership style and work discipline on employee performance. In other words, a good leadership style and high work discipline not only have a direct effect on employee performance, but also indirectly through increasing the work motivation of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees.
