Abstract

This research attempts to overcome the obstacle of low learning interest in grade 6 students at SD Negeri 4 Saba in learning science by applying cognitive theory in the learning process. Experimental research with a Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design was conducted on 6th grade elementary school students who were divided into experimental groups and control groups using the Cluster Random Sampling Technique. Data collection was carried out through tests of science students' comprehension abilities and analyzed using the T-Polled Variance test to ensure homogeneity of data variance. The research results showed significant differences in students' interest and abilities in learning science between the group that applied cognitive development theory and the control group. Thus, the application of this theory proves a significant influence on science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the criminal responsibility of political parties for criminal acts of corruption. The research method used is normative juridical. The results of the research reveal that the criminal responsibility of political party individuals for criminal acts of corruption is Article 20 Paragraph (l) and (2) of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes. Penalties that can be imposed on individuals from political parties who are proven to have legally committed criminal acts of corruption, if the political party is considered a corporation and it can be proven that there is a flow of funds into the political party's coffers through the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (FTRAC). Dissolution of political parties as an additional form of punishment can be carried out. Regarding the authority of two judicial institutions to dissolve political parties, the two judicial institutions can do the same thing for different reasons or other options, namely the division of authority where the criminal justice system is only a recommendation considering that the penalty for freezing or dissolving a corporation is only an additional penalty, whereas freezing or dissolving remains the authority of the Constitutional Court.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an inventory information system in the EDP Division of PT. Indomarco Prismatama Bogor Branch 2, which currently uses Excel to manage inventory data. The use of Excel often leads to data input errors and discrepancies between stock data and physical stock, resulting in stock shortages. The inventory information system designed using the SDLC Waterfall method is expected to minimize these errors and improve the efficiency of inventory management. The system is developed using web programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and tested using the Black Box method to ensure its functionality. The results show that the implementation of this system improves the accuracy and consistency of inventory data and provides practicality in checking and counting stock in the warehouse. In addition, this system contributes knowledge in the use of web-based inventory applications and can serve as a reference for the EDP division to develop more advanced systems in the future. Suggestions for further development include expanding system access rights and integrating Android-based technology to facilitate user access.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions at used goods auctions. The method in this research uses quantitative methods with a survey approach as the research design. The research population was all auction participants in Bekasi City, totaling 40 auction participants. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling method so that all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection in this research was carried out through the use of a questionnaire. For data analysis, various tests were carried out, including data quality tests (which include validity and reliability tests), classical assumption tests, and the application of multiple linear regression techniques, including the coefficient of determination test. The research results show that simultaneously and partially there is a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The current reservation process for the Balittro Hall is still done manually through WhatsApp messages, leading to message overload and delays in providing fast and accurate service. This study aims to develop a Web-Based Hall Reservation Information System to transition the reservation process from manual to digital, facilitating managers in handling reservation data, and providing more comprehensive and easily accessible information for customers. The research method used is the waterfall model, which involves the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. The results show that the developed system successfully improves the efficiency of the reservation process and minimizes errors in data management. Customers can also easily access schedule information, hall details, and reservation status online, enhancing their convenience and satisfaction.

Abstract

Soft selling is a promotional technique carried out using soft, friendly and persuasive language, without pressure or coercion on potential consumers. The goal is to build long-term relationships with consumers and create the sales experience that consumers expect. This research uses an approach with a quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental) pre-test and post-test intervention with control group design to determine the effect of treatment in the intervention group by comparing it with the control group. The population in this study were all students majoring in class X for the 2023/2024 academic year at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang, most of whom did not understand soft selling skills. The results of research using the paired t-test showed the effect of applying soft selling techniques to increasing product sales and brand awareness between the intervention group and the control group at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the analysis of factors related to the prevention of anemia in adolescent girls. This research is analytical with a cross sectional research design. The population of this study was all 65 class XI female students at the Saadatul Abadiyah Kuala Tungkal Islamic Boarding School. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, peer influence and the role of health workers with the prevention of anemia in adolescent girls at the Saadatul Abadiyah Kuala Tungkal Islamic Boarding School during 2022.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of human resource competency on the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research method used was a survey by distributing questionnaires to users of the Population and Civil Registration Service. The collected data was analyzed using regression techniques. The results of the research show that human resource competency has a significant positive influence on the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui target dan kebutuhan belajar siswa kelas sebelas dari Jurusan Teknik Program dan Penyiaran Televisi, 2) untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris yang sesuai untuk siswa kelas sebelas dari Jurusan Teknik Program dan Penyiaran Televisi berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Ini adalah studi Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D). Siswa kelas sebelas dari Jurusan Program TV dan Teknik Penyiaran SMK Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi menjadi subjek penelitian. Data untuk evaluasi materi dan analisis kebutuhan dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Guru bahasa Inggris diwawancarai menggunakan panduan wawancara untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan pada data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari evaluasi materi dan analisis kebutuhan. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan pada data kualitatif dari wawancara. Kebutuhan target mencakup tujuan pembelajaran, kebutuhan, keinginan, dan kekurangan siswa. Posisi guru, proses pembelajaran, masukan pembelajaran, dan lingkungan semuanya merupakan bagian dari kebutuhan pembelajaran. Tiga unit bahan pendidikan dalam bahasa Inggris telah dibuat. Tiga komponen dalam desain setiap unit adalah pengantar, pelajaran utama, dan penguatan. Pelajaran utama unit ini menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang dimodifikasi oleh Stoller (2002). Penilaian ahli kemudian digunakan untuk menilai kesesuaian materi yang dibuat dalam hal bahasa, presentasi, tata letak, dan konten. Sumber daya tersebut dikategorikan dengan tepat berdasarkan temuan pendapat ahli karena mereka mencakup komponen pembelajaran dan tema yang relevan dengan program studi siswa. Skor rata-rata untuk ketiga unit yang dikembangkan adalah 3,94, masuk dalam rentang "sangat baik" 3,75 < x ≤ 4.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the representation of emotional violence against women in the film "Story of Kale: When Someone's in Love" by Angga Dwimas Sasongko. The research method used is a qualitative method with a semiotic analysis approach. The research results show that this film effectively depicts the dynamics of emotional violence through various cinematic elements. The female characters in this film often experience manipulation, emotional control and verbal abuse which are interpreted through semiotic signs. This representation provides deep insight into the complexity of emotional violence and its impact on victims. The film "Story of Kale: When Someone's in Love" has succeeded in becoming an example of media that represents emotional violence against women, and plays an important role in increasing public awareness and understanding of this issue.
