Abstract

Fenomena sharenting menjadi tren di kalangan orang tua milenial yang ditandai dengan seringnya membagikan momen anak di media sosial. Kegiatan ini telah menjadi bagian dari pola pengasuhan digital, namun menimbulkan risiko terhadap privasi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motif dan pertimbangan orang tua milenial dalam melakukan sharenting pada anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian adalah 15 orang tua dari anak usia dini, sampel dikumpulkan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan kriterian orang tua rentang usia 20-35 tahun (milenial). Data dianalisis model analisis miles dan huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik untuk memastikan kredibilitas dan konsistensi temuan. menggunakan triangulasi data dengan penyajian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas sharenting dilakukan dalam berbagai bentuk, seperti membagikan foto anak saat kegiatan sekolah, aktivitas di rumah, pencapaian, dan rutinitas harian. Terdapat lima motif utama orang tua dalam melakukan sharenting: (1) motif intrinsik, berupa keinginan menyimpan kenangan dan mengekspresikan kebahagiaan; (2) motif sosial, yaitu untuk membangun koneksi sosial; (3) motif penghargaan, yakni mengharapkan pengakuan dari lingkungan sekitar; (4) motif aktualisasi diri sebagai bentuk kebanggaan; dan (5) motif teogenetis, sebagai bagian dari menanamkan nilai moral dan religius (6) motif keuntungan seperti monitesasi dalam unggahan sharenting. Meskipun terdapat kekhawatiran akan dampak negatif sharenting, sebagian besar orang tua masih melakukan kegiatan tersebut karena berbagai alasan personal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang alasan di balik praktik sharenting dan implikasinya terhadap pengasuhan anak usia dini di era digital.

Abstract

Religious and moral values (RMV) education in early childhood is a fundamental component in shaping Islamic character and holistic child development. This study aims to analyze the objectives, curriculum, methods, media, and evaluation of RMV learning from an Islamic perspective. The research employed a qualitative library research method, involving systematic collection, classification, and analysis of classical Islamic texts, national curriculum documents, and international journal articles. Data were collected from indexed databases (Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar) using keywords related to Islamic early childhood education and moral development, while analysis was conducted through content analysis focusing on thematic categorization and interpretation. Sources examined originate from various educational contexts, including Indonesian early childhood education settings and broader international perspectives. The results of the study show that RMV learning emphasizes the internalization of monotheism, worship practices, noble character, and social responsibility. Curriculum implementation requires integration between national PAUD standards and Islamic values, while effective learning methods include habituation, role modeling, storytelling, dialogical interaction, and play-based approaches. Appropriate media include visual, audio, audiovisual, and digital tools designed to suit the developmental stage of early childhood. Evaluation prioritizes observation of children's daily attitudes and behaviors, supported by portfolios and home–school collaboration. The findings provide practical implications for educators and PAUD institutions.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that Indonesia's literacy rate remains low, primarily due to a lack of reading interest. Experts in linguistics and early childhood education attribute this to the absence of pre-reading activities such as read-aloud sessions, despite recommendations from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Research on the implementation of read-aloud activities in non-formal educational institutions is still limited, even though many young children spend their early years in daycare due to their parents' work commitments. One such case is the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Daycare at UIN Walisongo Semarang, which, despite being under a state Islamic higher education institution, had not implemented read-aloud activities. Over a two-month period, the researchers optimized read-aloud sessions at the daycare. The results read-aloud activities can increase children’s reading interest, as evidenced by the fulfillment of five out of six indicators of reading enjoyment. Those indicators are: (1) the need for reading materials; (2) the initiative to seek out reading materials; (3) enjoyment of reading; (4) the desire to read continuously; and (5) interest in reading materials. To sustain and further improve this interest, daily read-aloud activities should be consistently carried out by caregivers following the optimization period.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has expanded young children’s access to information while simultaneously increasing the risk of exposure to inappropriate online content, as illustrated by the viral “Incest Fantasy” case. This study aims to measure parents’ awareness of the case, explore their emotional and psychological responses, analyze changes in protective behavior, and identify additional preventive actions in the context of child protection in the digital era. Employing a descriptive quantitative design, the study involved 37 parents of kindergarten children (n=37) selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring parental awareness, emotional and psychological responses, protective behavior changes, and preventive actions, and analyzed through descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. The findings indicate that although parents demonstrated relatively high levels of awareness, awareness was not significantly associated with changes in protective behavior or preventive actions. In contrast, emotional and psychological responses exhibited a very strong positive correlation with changes in protective behavior (r = 0.814, p 0.01) and a moderate, significant correlation with additional preventive actions (r = 0.542, p 0.01). These results suggest that emotional engagement plays a more decisive role than cognitive awareness in shaping parents’ protective behaviors toward their children. This study underscores the importance of integrating cognitive, affective, and humanistic dimensions in the design of digital child protection programs to strengthen parental involvement and responsiveness.

Abstract

Maritime education holds significant potential in shaping the character of young children, particularly in coastal areas. This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic maritime-based learning at TK Cerdas Banyuwangi and to analyze its contribution to enhancing children’s cultural literacy. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the school has integrated maritime values through various contextual activities such as turtle releases, mangrove planting, beach exploration, and the preservation of local traditions like Sego Golong. The learning process also involves the use of natural loose parts as educational materials within classroom learning centers. These results show that even in the absence of formal curricular support from the government, school-level initiatives can serve as a key driver in fostering love for the sea, environmental awareness, and maritime cultural identity from an early age. This study recommends the development of supportive policies and teacher training to expand similar practices across early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

Anak usia 5-6 tahun perlu dikenalkan tidak hanya pada bahasa nasional, tetapi juga bahasa daerah sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya dan lingkungan sosialnya. Penelitian ini didasari oleh fenomena bahwa penggunaan  Bahasa Madura pada anak usia 5-6 tahun muncul dalam situasi tertentu sehingga diperlukan kajian mendalam dalam penggunaannya dalam lingkungan pembelajaran.Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pemanfaatan lagu anak Madura dalam menstimulasi kemampuan Bahasa Madura anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi anak kelompok B, guru kelas, dan kepala sekolah di TK Negeri Pembina Bangkalan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu daerah mampu meningkatkan antusiasme anak selama kegiatan menyanyi, mendorong keberanian berbicara, dan memberikan pengalaman budaya yang positif. Akan tetapi, kemampuan anak dalam melafalkan kosakata masih terbatas karena kurangnya paparan bahasa daerah dan keterbatasan media pendukung.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi kemampuan bahasa anak, mulai dari anak yang mampu mengikuti lagu dengan lancar hingga anak yang hanya mengikuti gerakan atau berhenti di tengah lagu karena keterbatasan penguasaan lirik dan pelafalan. Lagu anak Madura mampu meningkatkan antusiasme dan keberanian berbicara anak serta memperkenalkan kosakata secara menyenangkan, meskipun kemampuan pelafalan masih memerlukan penguatan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lagu anak Madura berpotensi sebagai sarana stimulasi kemampuan bahasa sekaligus media pelestarian budaya lokal dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

The development of an inclusive literacy ecosystem from an early age is a strategic effort to foster a sustainable culture of reading and learning in society. The study aims to illustrate the implementation of a literacy program based on storytelling and coloring activities as a means to enhance children’s literacy interest. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving 25 children aged 5–6 years, parents, student volunteers, and community facilitators. Data were collected through observations, brief interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The needs analysis revealed that children had limited exposure to story- and visual-based literacy activities, as well as minimal parental involvement in supporting learning activities at home. The literacy program was implemented in a participatory manner through storytelling and coloring sessions designed to stimulate imagination, improve concentration, and develop children’s expressive abilities. The involvement of student volunteers and community facilitators also strengthened a fun and interactive learning environment. The evaluation results indicate an increase in children’s interest in literacy activities and greater community involvement in supporting child-friendly literacy spaces. These findings suggest that creative, contextual, and collaborative literacy activities can serve as an important foundation for building an inclusive literacy ecosystem within community settings.

Abstract

Jumlah guru laki-laki di PAUD relatif rendah namun mereka memiliki peran sebagai pendidik, sehingga kompetensi pedagogis mereka perlu dikaji secara komprehensif, khususnya dalam implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru laki-laki terhadap penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini ialah guru laki-laki. Teknik sampling yang digunakan non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kesediaan dari populasi 14, didapatka 6 guru laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan pdimensi profil lulusan dan kerangka pembelajaran. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru laki-laki memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap penerapan dimensi profil lulusan dan kerangka pembelajaran. Persepsi positif kerangka pembelajaran khususnya pedogogis dapat mendukung dimensi profil lulusan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan kajian terkait kemampuan pedagogis guru laki-laki yang mendukung pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini. Selain itu peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memperluas subjek penelitian di area lain.
