Abstract

There have been many investigations regarding the role of women's boards in firms, especially from an economic point of view, but very rarely from a social perspective. This study provides novelty by raising the topic of the female supervisory board on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility information at the beginning of the recent health crisis period, namely the COVID-19 pandemic. Investigations conducted on 465 non-financial firms in Indonesia show new evidence that female supervisory boards did not focus on corporate social responsibility issues during the pandemic. The results of this robust investigation can be useful for regulators and academics in developing countries at a time of high business uncertainty.

Abstract

Both regional and national growth are aided by culinary tourism. Every region needs to have an appropriate strategy in place to compete with the others in order to maximize development. Creating a supply-demand-driven culinary tourism strategy is the aim of this study. Hybrid technique was employed in this investigation. Participants in this study included chefs, tour operators, owners of agricultural tourism firms, local government representatives in the tourism sector, and operators of restaurants and hotels. SWOT analysis was conducted using the results of visitor surveys, aerial observations, focus group discussion, and secondary data. Suggested course of action: Priority plans are selected by government officials and executives of travel industry associations, and AHP is used to process them. Product, pricing, marketing communication, and collaboration are the recommended areas of concentration. To increase price competitiveness, culinary products from upstream to downstream must work together. Among the goods that must be created are facilities, culinary festivals and events, culinary-related activities, and organizations dedicated to culinary tourism. Collaborative marketing communications are needed to maximize culinary tourism-related media and messaging. There are restrictions on research involving horizontal stakeholders. Future research needs to look at the various ways that stakeholders collaborate.

Questionnaires were administered privately, and respondents were convinced of retaliation, value orientation and whistleblowing intentions for data confidentiality and the anonymity of the respondent's identity. Testing the data in the study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool. The primary research data used in the research were obtained through questionnaires. The results of the study show that: (1) Ethical Leadership has a positive and significant effect on the intention to do whistleblowing; (2) Retaliation or the threat of retaliation has a negative and significant effect on a person's intention to carry out a whistleblowing.

Abstract

Since its establishment in 1969, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has served as a platform for Islamic countries worldwide to cooperate in various sectors, including economic, social, and cultural. One longstanding form of economic cooperation among OIC countries is in the field of trade. Indonesia, as one of the major producers and exporters of coffee, has engaged in coffee trade with OIC countries, and this cooperation has continued to the present day. This research aims to assess the competitiveness and export performance of Indonesian coffee to OIC using the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Constant Market Share (CMS) methods. The results show that Indonesian coffee exports to OIC are competitive but have a declining growth rate. Meanwhile, the export performance of Indonesian coffee to OIC demonstrates good performance in following market distribution trends but shows shortcomings in meeting market preferences. Therefore, enhancing internal trade cooperation within OIC, partnering strategies with competing countries, and measures such as improving technology accessibility and evaluating responsive export policies are necessary.
