Abstract

The study aims to analyze the budget surplus function using differential equations to evaluate equilibrium values, sensitivity, and stability. To achieve this objective, the study employed various variables representing fiscal and monetary policy tools, as well as mixed policy instruments. Time series data were collected for two distinct periods: the first spanning from 2004 to 2011, and the second covering 2012 to 2021.The results indicate that equilibrium values increased for all variables in the second period compared to the first, with the exception of the exchange rate. Most variables became more influential on the budget surplus in the second period, except for the exchange rate and investment. The stability analysis revealed that the budget surplus function was unstable in both periods, with a slight preference for the first period based on the indicators observed. The study concludes that fiscal policy tools had a relatively stronger impact compared to monetary policy tools in addressing the Egyptian budget surplus during the period from 2004 to 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of green lifestyle and service quality on usage decisions of GoRide Electric with price as the moderating variable. 200 users of GoRide Electric are chosen as a sample of this study with the purposive sampling technique. The data are gathered using the questionnaire in Likert scale form. PLS- SEM is used as the technique of data analysis using Smart PLS. The findings reveal that green lifestyle has a positive significant impact on the usage decisions of GoRide Electric and service quality has a positive significant impact on the usage decisions of GoRide Electric while price moderates negatively the impact of green lifestyle on usage decisions of GoRide Electric and moderates positively the impact of service quality on usage decisions of GoRide Electric.

Abstract

Indonesia boasts numerous tourism destinations, supported by its rich cultural heritage, diverse natural attractions, and one of the world's largest archipelagos. The country's tourism sector is further strengthened by a substantial domestic tourism market driven by its large population. Meanwhile, digital technology has transformed the way tourism services are marketed and consumed. Digital Content Marketing (DCM) has emerged as an effective marketing tool that enables tourism stakeholders to engage consumers, build brand relationships, and influence travel decisions. Despite its growing importance, empirical research examining DCM in Indonesia's tourism context remains limited, particularly studies that extend the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating innovation and trust to explain travelers' behavioral intentions and actual usage. Therefore, this study develops an extended TAM framework to examine the influence of DCM on consumer behavior in Indonesia's tourism industry. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 298 Indonesian respondents, and the proposed model was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that 11 of the 12 proposed hypotheses are supported. Perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and perceived convenience significantly influence attitudes toward using DCM, while attitude, innovation, and trust significantly affect behavioral intention, which subsequently drives the actual usage of DCM. However, the relationship between perceived usefulness and attitude is not statistically significant. These findings extend the application of TAM in the context of digital tourism marketing and provide practical insights for tourism stakeholders in designing innovative, trustworthy, and engaging digital content to encourage consumer travel decisions and support the sustainable growth of Indonesia's tourism industry.

Abstract

This study aims to chart the spread of working poor individuals across Central Java, based on the province's actual conditions, to determine if employment alone can help the population escape poverty, and to identify the factors that enable poor workers in Central Java to lift themselves out of poverty. This study utilizes data from the 2023 National Socio-Economic Survey, specifically for Central Java Province, which includes a sample of 51,881 workers. Data analysis was conducted using logistic regression, the results of which reveal that the districts of Blora and Grobogan exhibit the highest proportions of working poor individuals in the entire province. Having a job is insufficient on its own to avoid poverty; a combination of additional elements and criteria is necessary for an individual to maintain a satisfactory standard of living and avoid financial difficulties. Demographics, employment status, household circumstances, and location all have a statistically significant impact on a worker's prospects of overcoming poverty, with the exception of individuals aged over 60 years. Relevant government authorities and local stakeholders may implement various regulatory measures and policy initiatives, such as worker welfare programs, aligning education with labor market needs, promoting digital infrastructure, offering micro-enterprise incubation services, developing inclusive financial access, expanding social protection to cover informal sector workers, improving rural areas, encouraging diversified economic activities in villages, and enhancing connectivity between rural and urban areas throughout Central Java.

Abstract

This paper aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of financial dimensions on ratings of green sukuk. The variables used in this study include corporate sukuk ratings as the dependent variable, and financial dimensions consisting of profitability, liquidity, and leverage as the independent variables. The population of this study is corporate sukuk rated by PT PEFINDO in the period 2016-2022. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) simultaneously influence corporate sukuk ratings. Further, partial analysis shows that ROE has a positive effect on corporate sukuk ratings, but CR and DER negatively affect corporate sukuk ratings. The implication for issuers is that they must maintain financial performance and debt ratios to achieve optimal rating results. A good rating will make sukuk issuance costs more efficient, thereby reducing the company's ujrah of corporate sukuk.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of agency conflict on risk-taking behavior in the Indonesian banking industry and evaluates the role of the Risk Committee as an internal governance mechanism. Three structural attributes of the Risk Committee—independence, expertise, and meeting frequency—are assessed as moderating variables that may strengthen internal oversight over managerial decision-making. Using panel data from conventional banks in Indonesia for the 2017–2023 period, the results show that agency conflict positively and significantly increases risk-taking behavior, indicating potential managerial opportunism arising from misaligned principal–agent interests. Among the moderating variables, Risk Committee expertise proves the most effective in weakening the influence of agency conflict, while meeting frequency also demonstrates a significant moderating effect. Conversely, committee independence does not exhibit a statistically significant moderating role. Overall, the findings underscore the importance of substantive governance quality—particularly professional competence and supervisory intensity—in mitigating the adverse effects of agency conflicts. These insights offer relevant implications for regulators and stakeholders.
