Focus of Risalah, Jurnal Pendidikan dan Studi Islam is on publishing original empirical research articles and theoretical reviews of Islamic education and Islamic Studies. The empirical research includes studies on the implementation of Islamic education in educational Islamic institution while theoretical study covers historical studies, expert finding and Islamic education content analysis from al-qur’an and hadist.

<![CDATA[This study aims to explore and understand how the role of Islamic religious education in preventing and treating homosexual or gay behavior. Because there are so many homosexual actors who experience a psychological shock caused by their ignorance in dealing with the matter. The results of this study are to find out the extent to which homosexuals view the prohibition of Islam in carrying out such deviant behavior and also to find out how to overcome this deviant behavior with prevention and healing through the teachings of Islamic religious education. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and also a study of religious studies as a solution in overcoming homosexual behavior and using five data sources in the form of five different gay resource persons. Homosexual informants realize that homosexual behavior is something that is prohibited and forbidden by religion and a way to overcome this behavior is as a prepentive effort by realizing the prohibition of this behavior in religion, leaving all associations related to homosexual behavior, realizing the danger posed by behavior homosexuals and provide counseling for Islamic understanding to homosexual actors while curative efforts that can be taken are by doing ruqyah syar'iyyah and also the rituals of the riyadhah of ibadah.]]>

<![CDATA[Fazlur Rahman menawarkan Neo-Modernisme Islam sebagai pendekatan baru terutama pada ranah pendidikan Islam. Neo-Modernisme merupakan suatu sistem penjelasan tentang kondisi umat Islam yang berbeda dengan modernisme, tradisionalisme, salafi, fundamentalisme, dan lain-lain. Bagi Rahman, sistem penjelasan baru sangat diperlukan, mengingat era modernisme, hubungan modernitas dengan Islam serta tradisionalisme dengan fundamentalisme, terdapat krisis. Fazlur Rahman memiliki pandangan bahwa pendidikan tinggi Islam yang disebut dengan intelektualisme Islam. Intelektualisme Islam ini, merupakan penggunaan ‘aql (intelektual, rasio), supaya memperoleh pengetahaun dan pembelajaran dari fenomena alam yang ditemukan dalam kehidupan. Intelektualisme Islam ini juga bisa dipahami bahwa seseorang yang bisa menafsirkan Islam dalam tema-tema rasional dan ilmiah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan suatu masyarakat modern yang progresif. Keutamaan pendidikan Islam mestinya nampak dan mewarnai kehidupan manusia yang segar dan maju. Hal ini bisa terjadi ketika merespon berbagai penemuan dan perkembangan masa kini.]]>

<![CDATA[This article was conducted to see how far the religious formation of the converts was obtained. Because as a muslim who is new to Islam, certainly requires a religious formation to make it easier for him to understand the teachings about Islam. It aims to be able to describe how religious formation is carried out by family converts and how the results o religious formation convert to Islam, which is in accordance with Muslims in general. So that this research can be a role model for the community in carrying out religious guidance on converts. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the method of description analysis to find out more about the implementation of religious coaching for several families of convert families. The results of this study show how the process of fostering Islamic religious education carried out by several convert families in several ways and methods to increase the firmness of their faith in Islam. So as to make their faith strong and make a muslim person intact and to avoid their return to their old beliefs.]]>

<![CDATA[The level of effectiveness of learning in MA AL-Mukhlisin Kampao, Blega District, Bangkalan District is strongly influenced by the behavior of educators and the behavior of students. Effective teaching behaviors include teaching clearly, using a variety of learning methods, using a variety of media or educational aids, enthusiasm, empowering students, and using contextual learning. Whereas student behavior can be viewed in terms of psychology. In the context, it relates to the scope of the learning approach used by the Akidah Akhlak teacher at MA Al-Mukhlisin, using the Psychology of Religion approach. His dentism, the approach of the psychology of religion can be defined as the study of human behavior or the study of the symptoms of the human soul associated with religion as a form of belief. Context as a reference to discuss these problems, using descriptive qualitative methods which are methods of analyzing the data obtained. The results of research conducted by researchers regarding the approach of the Psychology of Religion in the study of the Akidah Akhlak in MA Al-Mukhlisin, the researchers draw the following conclusions. In shaping the character of students in the learning process in terms of psychology by the teacher of the Akidah akhlak, traced the existence of inner pressures that befall on students who are very influential on achieving a goal of learning. Supporting Factors for the Implementation of the Psychological Approach Religion in Learning include; facilities and infrastructure, school culture, parental support, and individual differences.]]>

<![CDATA[Tolerance education needs to be taught at school because it is very important to keep the harmony between the religious people in our country in the plural. Islamic Religious Education teachers play a role in teaching and learning to students about Islam that is tolerant and the rahmatan lil alamin, so as not to be exposed to radical Islam understanding. The research uses the Library Research method, namely: research conducted using literature (libraries), whether in the form of books, records, and reports of research results from previous research. The role of Islamic education teachers to instill a tolerant attitude of religion is to give examples to his children with a disdiscriminatory attitude does not provide a social status of economic, religious, language, skin tone, and other Etc. Always promote cooperation or dialogue when there are problems related to religious tolerance, giving understanding of Islamic teachings that are tolerant, moderate and Rahmatan Lil Alamin.]]>

<![CDATA[Da'wah, Jihad, and Islam are a partial correlation. Da'wah is seen differently by everyone, Similarly, jihad is always synonymous with acts of violence. Jihad is not a taboo in the present because it already existed in the time of Muhammad Saw. Students become resource persons in research. The results of the study revealed that: 1. Da'wah is actually a da'wah that uses ethics of courtesy by ruling out acts of violence. In diversity is primary in preaching, not individuality. 2. Jihad in the teachings of Islam is to sacrifice one's body and soul in fighting for and upholding the teachings of Allah. However, many jihadis are misinterpreted that the act of defending religion with terrorists. 3. The perception that Islam is identical with the violence of views which is not justified in Islam because Islam itself is not a religion of violence but a tolerant religion. The perpetrators of radicalism are themselves individuals or groups not in the name of Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Three are three main problems to focus of this research. First, the form of learning tools for Economics is integrated with Islamic sharia, which includes Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and modules. Second, the use of these two tools in learning. Furthermore, the third evaluation of the results of its use, which is found in students, which includes asking them to learn it and their mastery of teaching material. This research uses the R & D research model, which begins with designing the RPS and Economics Economics modules integrated with Islamic shariah and then implemented in learning. The results of the study illustrate that the RPS (teaching plan) was successfully designed by incorporating it into the integration model of Economics with Shari'ah, which includes three alternatives namely Al-Nushush al-Syar'iyah (Syariah Texts), Al-Tahlil al-Syar`i (Islamic law Analysis), and Al-Naqd al-Syar`i (Islamic law Critics). Likewise, the learning module for Economics is integrated with Islamic sharia, it has also been successfully formulated. In addition to the RPS and modules, the results of the study also showed that the lecturer supporting the course was able to convey Islamic sharia in relation to the material being taught. Likewise, students, they are very enthusiastic about taking Economics lectures that are integrated with Islamic sharia. It can be seen in their very high interest in taking this course, as well as their excellent learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to know the character education in MAN Kota Serang, to know the implementation of character education in Curriculum 2013, and to know the strategy of headmaster of MAN in Serang City in the implementation of character education in the curriculum 2013. The research method used in this research is qualitative method, with descriptive analytic research design. Data collection techniques used are, in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this study states that the implementation of character education in MAN Kota Serang has been well realized. The 2013 curriculum that has been implemented in MAN Kota Serang becomes a reference that makes it easier for all stake holders in applying character education in School. The content of the character values embedded in the students themselves, both at the time of learning activities and during school activities, among others: such as responsibility, courtesy, discipline, and have a high spiritual spirit (religious), honesty, citizenship, confident has become a character that is formed in the students of Madrasah Aliyah in Serang City. Supporting activities or programs for the implementation of character education in schools are well implemented, with several supporting factors ranging from leadership to all stake holders in schools, as well as facilities and infrastructure that support the needs of students to apply life skills in accordance with their potential.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the implementation of moral learning through qur’any songs at MA Al urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. To describe the assessment of moral learning through the qur’any song at MA Al urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. This type of field research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research data collected was then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis and checking the validity of the data using an extension of the researcher's participation and the credibility test. The results of the study stated that MA Al Urwatul Wutsqo implemented a moral learning plan through qur’any songs including objectives, materials, learning methods and media. The implementation is the teacher sounds first by using the qur-any method, which is sound, read and write, then the students imitate without copying, then the assessment by means, students sing while the teacher looks at the writing, then proofs memorization with writing without copying and the teacher gives a mark. oral test results by sounding the Qur'any song.]]>
