Abstract

This article is structured to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models on students' critical thinking skills. Data collection is done by collecting books and journals and then reading and reviewing them. After all the data was collected, testing and comparison of the effectiveness of the two learning models were carried out. The data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively by quoting the appropriate opinion. The results showed that the problem-based learning model is a very good model used in physics learning to improve students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the many learning theories that support the Problem Based Learning model and have succeeded in increasing critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, the Problem solving learning model has not been fully implemented optimally, because learning activities are still teacher centered. The successful application of the social system that has been implemented has not accommodated the improvement of critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) student perceptions of the implementation of the MBKM curriculum that has been implemented at the Faculty of Engineering, Islamic University of Bandung, and (2) to determine student perceptions of digital literacy to support the success of MBKM. This research is a case study assisted by an online survey. Researchers collected data through an online survey via google form which was addressed to students of the Faculty of Engineering, Nusantara Islamic University, Bandung, as many as 655 students. The survey contains structured questions and leads to several answers that have been provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture as the compiler of the survey. The results showed that the implementation of MBKM at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Islam Nusantara was good, although the socialization that had been carried out by universities had not obtained maximum results. In addition, with regard to digital literacy, 94% of students stated that digital literacy is very important and strongly supports the MBKM program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design training to improve teacher competence in implementing the CHYBK value education curriculum at YLM for elementary school teachers who teach at several YLM elementary schools in Lampung and Palembang and to review the effectiveness of the training design developed. This type of research uses the method and development (R & D) with the ADDIE development model. The population is all teachers who teach at SD Xaverius 1 Bandar Lampung, SD Xaverius Metro, and SD Xaverius 1 Palembang with a total of 103 teachers and the sample for testing the product of the results of development is 52 teachers. Data was collected using observation, survey, and pretest-posttest techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out by descriptive analysis including product feasibility analysis, product attractiveness analysis and teacher competency level analysis. The results of the study indicate that the product developed is feasible and attractive and can increase teacher competence.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the fine motor skills of students with intellectual disability through mosaic techniques. This study is action research with subjects in the 1st-grade student with intellectual disability in SLB Citra Mulia Mandiri in the 2020/2021 academic year. The action in this research is a cyclical model. The data was collected through observation and documentation. The research instrument employed an observation guide. Data analysis technique was used descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the process of learning the mosaic technique can improve the fine motor skills of students with intellectual disability in the 1st grade. The learning process of the mosaic technique also increases students' concentration, independence, and ability to differentiate shapes (e.g., semi-circle, circle, quadrilateral, and triangle geometric shapes).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of the concepts of class VIII students at MTs Al Irsyad Wonosari on the material of photosynthesis. This study uses a descriptive type of research, namely analyzing by describing. The object of this research is class VIII students at MTs Al Irsyad Wonosari, totaling 39 students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection technique uses essay test questions that contain indicators of concept understanding according to Anderson (2001). The results of the analysis of understanding the concept of class VIII A students obtained the results of understanding the concept of explaining the indicators of 60.7%, exemplifying 65.3%, interpreting 41.3%, classifying 38.7%, comparing 93.3%, summarizing 86.7% , 58% inference indicator and an average concept understanding indicator of 63.4% which is included in the good category. Class VIII B obtained the results of class VIII A the results of understanding the concept of explaining indicators were 48.8%, exemplifying 49.6%, interpreting 20.4%, classifying 17.1%, comparing 75%, summarizing 50%, inference indicators 51 .3% and the average concept understanding indicator is 44.6% which is included in the sufficient category. So it can be concluded that the ability to understand the concepts of class VIII students at MTs Al Irsyad Wonosari on photosynthesis material as a whole falls into the sufficient criteria. Most of the students have been able to solve problems that contain indicators of concept understanding.

Abstract

Mentally retarded children have several limitations, one of which is the ability to brush their teeth. This study aims to improve the skills of brushing teeth in sixth grade mentally retarded children at SLB Negeri 1 Sleman. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using classroom action research design. Classroom action research procedures are carried out through a process consisting of 4 stages, namely: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; 4) reflection. The method of data collection is by testing, observation and documentation. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. From the data analysis, it is known that each cycle there is an increase in learning outcomes. The results showed that learning brushing teeth skills with animated video media can improve teeth brushing skills in mentally retarded children. This is indicated by the results of the post-test cycles 1 and 2 which show the results of mastery of the material above the specified criteria, namely 75%.

Abstract

Children with mental retardation are having limitations in terms of self-development, one of which is the skill of brushing teeth. This study aims to improve the self-development skills of brushing the teeth of moderately mentally retarded children through the drill method on the 3rd grade of Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Wiyata Dharma 3 Ngaglik. With the drill method, children with moderate mental retardation are accustomed to brushing their teeth repeatedly so that children with moderate mental retardation can understand and have skills in brushing their teeth without needing help from others. This research is a classroom action research using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 4 stages including planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The implementation of this research by providing action in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 2 students with moderate mental retardation of the 3rd grade on Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa Wiyata Dharma 3 Ngaglik, who were 10 years old and male. Collecting data using action test and observation techniques. The technique of analyzing the data uses quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the self-development skills of brushing teeth in moderately mentally retarded children could be improved through the drill method. The increase was obtained by (1) habituation and guidance intensely in each activity, (2) utilizing visual media assistance (3) adding students' favorite activities as a reward so that students actively participate in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar Fisika siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Setiap siklus meliputi empat langkah yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil prestasi dalam belajar. Peningkatan kreativitas pada siklus 1 sebesar 78,00, pada siklus 2 sebesar 83,70, dan siklus 3 sebesar 82,34 terjadi peningkatan sebesar 5,7. Pencapaian pra siklus rata-rata 32,00, siklus 1 rata-rata 59,68, pada siklus 2 rata-rata 60,71, siklus 3 rata-rata 71,93, .Penelitian ini 3 siklus, karena pada siklus 3 kreativitas siswa sudah mencapai 80, dan daya serap siswa mencapai 70. Model PBL perlu diterapkan karena peningkatan kreativitas dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The problem encountered in class IX learning science is the low learning outcomes of students, especially on magnetic material. This can be found when looking at the list of values, most of which are under the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), which is 68. The purpose of this study is to find out whether Blended Learning learning is able to improve learning outcomes of students, especially on magnetic material in class IX middle schools first. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK), the sample in this study is class IX.2, amounting to 20 people. Research data in the form of student learning outcomes were taken using test and observation techniques, the test results obtained an average value of 56.80 to 85.60 with SD = 11.35 and 95% of students scored above the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The trend of increasing student activity can be seen from cycle I to cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that Blended Learning can improve student learning outcomes in the discussion of magnets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tuna daksa dengan media MIGUPI (Miniatur Gunung Berapi). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (action research). Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan evaluasi-refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMALB D di SLB BC Wiyata Dharma 3 Ngaglik, Sleman, DI. Yogyakarta. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian adalah ketuntasan klasikal lebih dari 85% dengan persentase ketuntasan individu mencapai lebih dari 75%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Persentase ketuntasan individual pada pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 50% dan meningkat menjadi 100% pada pembelajaran siklus 2; 2) Persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 37,5% meningkat menjadi 100% pada pembelajaran siklus 2.
