Abstract

Ar-Raniry State Islamic University management information system has been implemented based on technology. It becomes vulnerable to attacks brought on by weaknesses (vulnerabilities). The degree to which institutions are able to improve their access to authority inside the system is gauged by this research. To evaluate the server's dependability based on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, penetration testing is necessary. The NIST SP 800-115 approach, which comprises of four testing stages—planning, discovery, attack, and reporting—is used to conduct the server security assessment. The findings demonstrate the Security Management Information System contains nine vulnerabilities in various ways with varying improvements. Two of these vulnerabilities are classified as high threat: DNS Server Spoofed Request Amplification DDoS by blocking access from the public network or rejecting the query; and Interception Attack by enhancing the SSL/TLS protocol through a stunnel. The remaining seven vulnerabilities are classified as medium threat. However, Ar-Raniry's campus server vulnerability level is categorized as medium threat

Abstract

Coconut and pineapple dregs contain ions that can be effectively used as energy sources. This study aims to evaluate the electricity generated from varying compositions of coconut dregs and pineapple juice in bio-batteries. The bio-battery paste is created using different ratios of coconut dregs and pineapple juice, along with electrodes (aluminum and graphite). An experimental method was employed. The results indicated that the highest voltage of 0.54 V and a current of 0.71 mA were achieved with 40 ml of pineapple juice added to the coconut dregs, whereas the lowest voltage of 0.40 V and a current of 0.01 mA were observed without adding pineapple juice. For the pineapple juice concentration, the highest voltage of 0.51 V and a current of 0.91 mA were obtained with 10 grams of coconut dregs, while the lowest voltage of 0.44 V and a current of 0.31 mA occurred with 40 grams of coconut dregs. The concentration of coconut dregs and pineapple juice significantly affects the voltage produced, while the current is significantly influenced by the concentration of coconut dregs but not by the concentration of pineapple juice.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks second in Asia Pacific in the list of the highest number of deaths due to natural disasters. In a year, more than 300 flood events occur, resulting in large losses, environmental damage and even loss of life. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to design a tool for monitoring water levels and rainfall. This research aims to design a flood detection system using the fuzzy method and using a float switch water level sensor. The results of the research show that this system can monitor water levels and rainfall using a web server. In the first test, it produces a fuzzy warning level in a safe condition. In the second test, the water level reached 51 cm with rainfall of 0.47 mm, and the fuzzy warning level was in a safe condition. Finally, in the third test, the average water level reached 99 cm with rainfall of 0.69 mm, resulting in a fuzzy warning level in an alert state. It can be concluded that this system needs to be improved in quality by adding items to the system.
