Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of customer satisfaction on the loyalty of Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Jombang Cempaka Mas. The subject of this study is the loyalty of Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Jombang Cempaka Mas and the goal is customer satisfaction and trust. The location of this study is Jombang Regency. This positioning is assessed based on the influence of customer satisfaction and trust on bank loyalty. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting further research on the level of customer satisfaction and trust in bank loyalty. The sampling method is non-probability sampling and data collection is carried out by purposive sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires sampled by 100 respondents. The type of research in this study is quantitative descriptive research using multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and subtests (T-test). The results of this study show that several satisfaction variables (X1) and trust variables (X2) partially (T-test) have a positive and significant influence on the loyalty of Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Jombang Cempaka Mas (Y) which shows that there is an Adjusted R-squared produced is 74.9% and the remaining 25.1% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The mosque is the center of Islamic civilization. The role of mosques in the education of the people is very important. Bergama moderation is very important to educate people in religion. Extremism as opposed to moderation endangers people in practicing their religion. The role of mosques is very much needed in educating people about the importance of religious moderation. This research uses a qualitative approach, using interpretive phenomenology methods. Purposive sampling is the method used in this study, with criteria: Baiturrahman mosque congregation, Takmir Masjid, Kyai or Ustadz,using semi-structured interview techniques, it was then analyzed with the Colaizzi model approach. The research produced 4 themes, namely Theme 1: mosques are active in cultivating national commitment Theme 2: Mosques play an active role in instilling tolerance Theme 3: mosques play an active role in instilling non-violence Theme 4: mosques play an active role in instilling adaptive attitudes towards culture.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the weak skills in reading contemporary Arabic texts among students, caused by the lack of references for Arabic language learners regarding modern Arabic. Therefore, this study aims to develop a textbook for contemporary Arabic language, designed with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) approach, with the goal of enhancing the extensive reading skills of learners. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) adopting Prof. Sugiyono's development model. Data collection in this research is carried out using observation, questionnaires, and tests. This research resulted in a textbook for contemporary Arabic language comprising 14 chapters. Each chapter consists of reading texts, a list of difficult vocabulary, text content summaries, and 5 types of exercises organized based on HOTS theory. The developed textbook is categorized as highly appropriate based on expert validation results with a score of 91% from the first validator and 88% from the second validator. Meanwhile, the field trial results state that this textbook is capable of improving student learning outcomes, as indicated by the pre-test score of 60.89% and the post-test score of 87.32%. Thus, there is a difference of 26.43% indicating a significant improvement. Therefore, the textbook is able to enhance the reading skills of Arabic texts for advanced levels, with a high level of text difficulty as well

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of tirakat (spiritual fasting) and wirid (recitation of dhikr) as practices to develop Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ). ESQ combines emotional and spiritual intelligence, aligning with Islamic principles to foster strong moral character and deeper spiritual connections. The research employs a qualitative approach to understand the phenomenon of tirakat and wirid as tools to enhance ESQ. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using Miles and Huberman's model, consisting of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation techniques ensured validity and reliability, including source, method, and time triangulation. The results show that tirakat and wirid significantly contribute to developing emotional and spiritual intelligence. From an emotional perspective, these practices improve self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, and empathy. Participants demonstrated better emotional control, increased patience, and a more thoughtful response to challenges. From a spiritual perspective, tirakat and wirid cultivate sincerity (ikhlas), patience (sabar), and a stronger connection with God. Participants reported greater focus in worship, improved discipline, and a deeper sense of purpose in life. This study highlights the importance of tirakat and wirid as systematic practices for developing ESQ. By integrating these practices, individuals can cultivate emotional maturity, moral character, and spiritual intelligence, which are essential for facing life’s challenges with resilience and ethical awareness.

Abstract

Rice ATMs are a means of facilitating the distribution of zakat without directly involving the brains of mustahiq and muzzaki. The urgency of rice ATMs is to help the poor get their basic needs in the form of rice, without good management this goal will not be achieved. This research aims to determine the implementation of Rice ATM management at BAZNAS Jombang, the problems faced in the Rice ATM program and their implications. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, while data checking is carried out through data triangulation. The research results show that, firstly, the implementation of Rice ATM management at BAZNAS Jombang is good according to George R. Terry's theory. Second, the problems faced are divided into 5 parts, including problems related to rice ATM machines, fundraising strategies, UPZ limitations, Jombang BAZNAS administrators, and mustahiq. Third, the implications of the presence of a rice ATM in the courtyard of the Great Jombang Mosque have a significant impact on mustahiq and muzzaki. These implications include increased accessibility for mustahiq in fulfilling their basic needs, heightened awareness among muzzaki regarding their social responsibilities, and an overall enhancement in the perception of zakat distribution as a transparent and efficient system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the Development, Feasibility, and Effectiveness of Contextual-Based Shorof Textbooks. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The results of the research and development are as follows: (1) The Contextual-Based Shorof Textbook developed has dimensions of 18x25 cm and uses Standard Arabic (Fusha). This teaching material consists of 5 chapters containing detailed and comprehensive Shorof material. Each chapter is equipped with explanations, elaborations of the material, and exercises for students in the first and second semesters. (2) Based on the results of validation tests by material expert lecturers, the textbook achieved a score of 125, categorized as valid in terms of material presentation. Meanwhile, the validation test by design expert lecturers scored 134, categorized as highly valid. The validation test by Shorof subject teachers obtained a score of 89, also categorized as highly valid. The effectiveness of the textbook was evaluated using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores, with the t-test significance value greater than the t-table value. This indicates that the Shorof textbook is effective in meeting the needs of students and teachers in teaching and learning Shorof. The implications of this study are that the Contextual-Based Shorof Textbook can serve as a reference for developing similar teaching materials that align with the learning needs at the Madrasah Aliyah level, as well as promote a deeper and more structured understanding of Shorof among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of the kiai as the leader of Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) in building a pesantren culture that contributes to the formation of institutional character. This institutional character serves as the identity of the organization, reflecting the process of developing institutional excellence through the growth of scholarly traditions and a clear system of educational management. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through organizing and classifying data, as well as verifying its validity using triangulation and referencing scholarly materials. The findings of the study reveal that the kiai plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools through various strategies. These include strengthening an integrated curriculum combining religious and general subjects, enhancing teacher quality through training and recruitment of qualified educators, improving facilities and infrastructure, implementing active learning approaches, conducting continuous evaluation and monitoring, and developing extracurricular activities aligned with students' interests and talents. Furthermore, the kiai fosters collaboration with parents and the community to support educational programs holistically and sustainably. The implications of this research highlight that the responsibilities of the kiai extend beyond administrative tasks to include providing spiritual and moral guidance to students, creating a conducive learning environment, instilling Islamic values, and preparing students to become individuals with noble character who are ready to face life's challenges. Therefore, the role of the kiai is crucial in shaping Islamic boarding schools as excellent and competitive educational institutions.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Denanyar Jombang with the aim of examining the implementation of learning the Book of Ta'lim Muta'alim in shaping student character. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The research results show that learning implementation is carried out through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Learning is carried out using classical methods involving bandongan and sorogan techniques, where students not only receive the material but also actively play a role in explaining and discussing the material. Evaluation is carried out to measure students' understanding and their character development. Apart from that, this research also identifies factors that support and hinder the formation of student character through learning the book. Supporting factors include adequate infrastructure, teacher competency, and book matriculation programs, while inhibiting factors include differences in student backgrounds, limited use of technology, and limited learning time. The positive impacts felt by students include increased respect for teachers, discipline, and mutual respect between friends, which reflects the implementation of character values in everyday life

In the era of rapidly developing information technology, the use of digital media in education is becoming increasingly important. Conventional teaching and learning no longer attracts students because it is boring, including in teaching and learning SKI. Abstract

This study examines the implementation of inclusive Islamic Religious Education (PAI)at SMPIT Al Uswah Bangil, focusing on strategies that integrate students with specialneeds into regular classrooms. The research highlights the school’s adaptive approach,combining modified lesson plans, flexible teaching methods (lectures, Q&A,demonstrations, and technology), and strategic classroom management to ensureequitable learning. Key findings reveal that personalized instruction, peercollaboration, and supportive teacher-student relationships enhance participation andcomprehension for all learners. While assessments follow the standard curriculum,accommodations are made to address diverse abilities. The study also underscores theeffectiveness of faith-based interventions, such as Quranic therapy and reward-penaltysystems, in supporting students with special needs. Ultimately, the findings advocatefor stronger institutional commitment to inclusive education, backed by parentalinvolvement and policy reforms, affirming education as a universal right that mustcater to every learner’s unique potential.
