Abstract

Development of unlimited information resulting in the loss of the diversity of architectural identity of place. Contemporary architecture develops without control and without clear concept seeds. Craftsmanship is always attached to art because in the final result there is a content of art, even though the meaning of art is always being discussed and always developing. Javanese house architecture has three important things, namely the relationship of Jiwa Cipta / wastu, resources / kalang and form / wewangunan, which are the totality of architecture. The purpose of this research is to describe the understanding of "Javanese architecture" by taking a broader perspective that will be used in this study. This relationship will be traced through the craftsmanship inherent in Javanese architectural works. The method used is field research which is a qualitative research with problems in a natural setting to interpret and interpret the observed phenomena. Craftsmanship of Javanese architectural will complement the knowledge of Javanese architecture which will enrich the identity of Indonesian architecture in accordance with the place and time travel which will always change according to human civilization. Craftsmanship in Javanese architecture produce Javanese architecture consisting of constructive and non-constructive percussion crafts that are able to provide articulation of the manufacturing process, articulation of talent / character of materials, articulation of expression of load joints articulation of material processing.

Abstract

Pekanbaru is a developing capital city that can be seen from the density of community activities in their daily lives. This requires having a fit and healthy body. A fit and healthy lifestyle is also an important requirement for the body. Fitness and good body beauty is the dream of every human being. Lack of fitness in the body will make you weak and less enthusiastic in carrying out your daily routine. From this problem, we need a place that accommodates fitness activities and physical and spiritual health of the body. Generally, Fitness and Wellness facilities in Pekanbaru are still located in shophouses, residences, shopping centers and part of the supporting facilities for star-rated hotels. Therefore a Fitness and Wellness Center is needed that expresses fitness and health by supporting various physical and physical and spiritual activities that have never existed before by presenting aesthetics, technology and building a supporting structure. For that, we need a high-tech architectural principles approach that exposes a structure that is not only load-bearing but also aesthetically pleasing to this building.

Abstract

Bali is a gathering of tourist who come from all over the country. Because of this, a mixture of cultures emerged on the island ranging from lifestyles such as clothing, language, food to architecture, so that over time Balinese architecture became faded. To prevent this, it is necessary to preserve traditional Balinese architecture by applying traditional forms of architecture to new buildings, especially the theater (as buildings that become icons of Balinese culture). The theory chosen was traditional Balinese architecture, contemporary theater provisions and neo-vernacular architecture. The method used to trace the case is descriptive qualitative by taking important aspects in neo-vernacular architecture as a meeting point between traditional Balinese architecture and neo-vernacular, then these aspects are used as a benchmark in the design transformation from what was originally a small span building to a wide span with a theater function. The study results obtained are guidelines and examples of the application of Asta Kosala-kosali in contemporary theater on spatial, roof, body and foot structures of Balinese architecture and the combination of Balinese architectural tectonics in contemporary art theater. This journal has a high urgency because at present there are many functions that require wide-span buildings, so that Balinese architecture can be applied to buildings without eliminating the culture or noble values in it.

Abstract

Sea turtle is classified into endangered animal. One of the areas which is designated as sea turtle conservation area in Indonesia is located at Trisik Beach, Kulonprogo. The government’s sea turtle conservation effort is supported by the Penyu Abadi Conservation Group, that has been carrying out sea turtle conservation activities since 2004. By the development of this conservation activities, in 2018, Dinas Pariwisata Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta finally planned a development program for the attractiveness of sea turtle conservation areas on the southern coast of Yogyakarta, including Trisik Beach. One form of developing the attraction of conservation areas is sea turtle educational tourism object. The development of a sea turtle conservation area into a tourist attraction for sea turtle education should not disturb the balance of the natural ecosystem of Trisik Beach sea turtle nesting.  Therefore, the problem formulated in this research is what aspects must be fulfilled to realize the recreational sea turtle educational tourism, by paying attention to its main function as a supporter of regional marine conservation activities. The problem solving is done by applying the applied research methods, namely the type of research that aims to provide practical solutions for the problem. This research produced some guidelines that can be implemented in the development of Trisik Beach sea turtle conservation area, to be the basis for future development planning.
