Abstract

Peningkatan akses pendidikan dasar di Indonesia belum selalu diikuti dengan pemerataan mutu pendidikan yang holistik. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen sekolah dasar dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan aspek akademik, karakter, sosial-emosional, dan pemerataan akses bagi semua peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review terhadap penelitian yang diterbitkan pada periode 2022–2026, terkait manajemen sekolah, pendidikan holistik, pendidikan karakter, inklusivitas, dan kesejahteraan siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sekolah yang efektif, termasuk kepemimpinan transformasional, perencanaan strategis, tata kelola partisipatif, evaluasi berkelanjutan, serta kolaborasi dengan komunitas, menjadi fondasi utama pendidikan holistik. Integrasi pendidikan karakter dan sosial-emosional melalui pendekatan whole-school, budaya sekolah positif, dan kurikulum yang adaptif terbukti meningkatkan perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh, baik akademik maupun psikososial. Meskipun demikian, tantangan implementasi masih muncul, seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru, inkonsistensi kebijakan, ketidakmerataan sumber daya, dan hambatan sistemik, terutama di daerah terpencil. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan pendidikan holistik menuntut manajemen sekolah yang sistematis, inklusif, dan kolaboratif, serta komitmen kolektif antara kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, masyarakat, dan pemerintah untuk memastikan pemerataan, keberlanjutan, dan mutu pendidikan yang utuh di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses pelaksanaan kegiatan batik ciprat sebagai media pengembangan ekspresi seni bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SLB Beranda Istimewa Ngawi, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perkembangan motorik, sensori, kreativitas, kepercayaan diri, dan interaksi sosial siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan enam siswa tunagrahita dan autisme usia 10–14 tahun. Proses pembelajaran meliputi tahapan menciprat lilin, pewarnaan bertahap, penguncian warna, melorot, dan penjemuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa batik ciprat merupakan media seni yang efektif dan inklusif bagi siswa ABK karena tekniknya yang sederhana, bersifat eksploratif, dan melibatkan rangsangan multisensori. Data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus melalui gerakan menciprat dan mewarnai, peningkatan integrasi sensori, serta berkembangnya kreativitas melalui kebebasan memilih warna dan pola. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pengalaman menghasilkan karya nyata serta mendorong interaksi sosial seperti kerja sama saat menjemur kain dan menunggu giliran. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada pemanfaatan teknik batik ciprat sebagai pendekatan seni berbasis budaya lokal yang berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai pembelajaran vokasional, tetapi juga sebagai sarana terapi sensorimotor bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran seni berbasis eksplorasi dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna di lingkungan SLB.

Abstract

Early childhood learning should be grounded in the principle of learning through play, which emphasizes active engagement and direct experience. However, learning practices in early childhood education institutions are still dominated by conventional, teacher-centered approaches, resulting in low levels of children’s interest, motivation, and learning engagement.  This study aims to develop a gamification-based project learning model incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) and to test its effectiveness in increasing children's motivation and engagement in learning.. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE procedure, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were Group B children at TK PKK 4, Pasuruan Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The feasibility of the learning model was evaluated through validation by subject matter experts, instructional design experts, and media experts. The effectiveness of the model was tested using a pre-experimental design by analyzing the improvement scores through N-Gain based on pretest and posttest results of children’s motivation and learning engagement. The results showed that the gamification-based STEAM learning model was valid and feasible for use, with subject matter expert validation reaching 79.4% (valid) and instructional design expert validation reaching 96.6% (very valid), along with media design revisions based on expert feedback. The implementation of gamification elements such as missions, points, challenges, and badges effectively increased children’s interest and active participation in learning activities. The N-Gain score of 0.5 indicated a moderate improvement in children’s motivation and learning engagement. Therefore, the gamification-based STEAM learning model is effective in enhancing motivation and learning engagement in early childhood education.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a very important stage in developing children's full potential without neglecting their physical and psychological conditions.  This research uses a classroom action research method with observation and documentation data collection techniques. However, initial observations at RA Al Munawarah show that the letter recognition skills of children in group B are still in the early stages of development, with children finding it difficult to distinguish between letters that are similar in shape and sound. This condition is influenced by teaching methods that are still conventional and do not utilize innovative learning media that are appropriate for early childhood characteristics. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the application of interactive multimedia learning media can improve the ability to recognize letters in group B children at RA Al Munawarah. Based on the research results, there was an increase in the ability to recognize letters in children from the pre-cycle with an average percentage result of 44.10%, then after the action was carried out in cycle I with an average percentage result of 71.96%, after being carried out in cycle II with an average percentage result of 94.46%.  Therefore, the application of interactive multimedia learning media can improve children's ability to recognize letters because it integrates elements of text, images, sound, animation, and interaction which can create an interesting, fun, and meaningful learning atmosphere for children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of character development from an early age and the need for synergy between home and school to support positive behavioral habits in children. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the 7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children through a partnership between parents and teachers at RA Miftahul Huda Sukorejo–Pasuruan. A qualitative case study approach was used, involving the principal, teachers, and parents of students as research subjects. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. They were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure data trustworthiness. The results indicate that the partnership between parents and teachers was fostered through the Daily Contact Book, WhatsApp Group, and Parenting Class, resulting in effective two-way communication. This creates a strong mesosystem between home and school, enabling the 7 Habits to be implemented harmoniously in both environments. Research findings demonstrate positive impacts in the form of improved moral behavior, social character, learning motivation, and emotional and spiritual development in children, coupled with integrated home and school habits. Therefore, early childhood character development will be optimal if home and school work synergistically, consistently, and mutually reinforcingly within an integrated educational ecosystem.
