Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the operational system of tour leader services and the quality of services for Umrah pilgrims at PT. Wafdullah Tamu Mulia Bengkulu Branch. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the operational system of tour leader services has been running quite effectively, as seen from the implementation of pre-departure briefings, supported by qualified human resources, the availability of adequate facilities, implementing programs in accordance with established SOPs, and being able to provide comfort to pilgrims. However, there are still obstacles in conveying communication with elderly pilgrims and the limited number of tour leaders and accompanying staff. The quality of services for Umrah pilgrims as a whole is good, this is indicated by the availability of adequate physical facilities, the accuracy of activity schedules, the smooth implementation of worship, the alertness of tour leaders in responding to the needs and emergency conditions of pilgrims, as well as a friendly, patient, and caring attitude, especially to elderly pilgrims. Tour leaders also have competence and professionalism in guiding the implementation of Umrah worship, so as to foster pilgrims' trust in the quality of services provided.

Abstract

The development of the halal culinary sector in Indonesia has shown significant growth along with increasing public awareness of the consumption of halal and environmentally friendly products. However, halal culinary businesses in many regions still face challenges in integrating Islamic economic values with the concept of a green economy oriented towards environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze how halal culinary businesses in Bengkulu City interpret and apply Islamic economic principles such as halal, thayyib, amanah, justice ('adl), and the prohibition of israf in green economy practices. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to explore the subjective experiences of halal culinary businesses. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of six halal culinary businesses and four consumers in Bengkulu City. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that most businesses understand the principles of halal and cleanliness (thayyib) in managing raw materials and production processes. However, the implementation of green economy practices such as food waste management, energy efficiency, and the use of environmentally friendly packaging is still suboptimal. The main challenges faced by businesses include limited knowledge, the cost of implementing environmentally friendly technologies, and a lack of supporting regulations. Nevertheless, businesses that have integrated Islamic economic values with environmentally friendly practices have shown improved business image and consumer trust. This study concludes that integrating Islamic economic principles with the green economy has the potential to support sustainable economic growth in the halal culinary sector in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic business spirituality and its role in supporting the sustainability of Muslim culinary businesses that have survived for more than five years in Bumi Ayu Village, Bengkulu City. This research employed a field research method with a qualitative descriptive case study approach. Informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques involving business owners, employees, and customers from three Muslim culinary businesses. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Islamic business spirituality values such as tauhid (monotheism), tawakal (trust in God), amanah (trustworthiness), ṣidīq (honesty), ihsan (excellence), gratitude, and patience had been implemented in daily business practices. These values were reflected in maintaining product quality and halal standards, transparent transactions, friendly services, and harmonious working relationships. Furthermore, Islamic business spirituality played a significant role in strengthening business sustainability through increasing customer loyalty, operational stability, positive social relationships, and selective business adaptation without losing the business’s core identity. Therefore, Islamic business spirituality not only has a religious dimension but also serves as a strategic foundation for achieving the economic, social, and moral sustainability of Muslim culinary businesses. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of influencers, financial technology, and financial planning on the investment decisions of young investors in the Islamic capital market, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The population of this study consists of sharia stock investors registered with KISI Securities at STIA Bengkulu, with a sample of 50 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 18. The results show that, partially, influencers do not have a positive and significant effect on the investment decisions of young investors in the Islamic capital market. Meanwhile, financial technology and financial planning have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. Simultaneously, influencers, financial technology, and financial planning have a significant effect on investment decisions. This study indicates that the investment decisions of young investors are more influenced by technological factors and financial planning capabilities rather than social influence from influencers. Keywords: Influencers, Financial Technology, Financial Planning, Investment Decisions, Islamic Capital Market.
