Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts to produce fiqh experts through the development of the yellow book at Ma'had Aly at Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Situbondo. This research uses a qualitative approach, it is used to find more in-depth information about the efforts to produce fiqh experts through the development of the yellow book, while the type of research used is a case study that is focused on a particular case to be carefully observed and analyzed to completion. The results showed that: the efforts made by Ma'had Aly were using varied methods and models by combining (classical) Islamic boarding school learning methods such as sorogan, bandongan, wetonan, etc. and learning models in higher education (modern) such as active learning, demonstrations, CTL, Problem Based Intruction, etc. The supporting factors are the support of caregivers, lecturers of Ma'had Aly consisting of masyaikhs and a conducive environment, and the inhibiting factors are inadequate infrastructure and funds and the lack of focus of lecturers and supervisors in teaching at Ma'had Aly, Implications of developing the yellow book done by Ma'had Aly, it is possible that contemporary fiqh experts will be the successors of classical fuqaha.

Abstract

This article aims to elaborate the thoughts of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari about Islamic boarding school education as well as revealing aspects of modernity that are relevant to current educational conditions. The significance value of this research lies in the greatness of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari in changing the pesantren education system, starting from the intake of character that is moralistic in principle to the plains of institutionalization and curriculum. A major breakthrough that is impressive and remains relevant to the existence of education today. By referring to some of his literature and works, this paper combines theory of thought with policy action in the field through the existence of Pesantren Tebuireng, Jombang. The method used is a literature study (literature approach) with the type of qualitative research. The data is taken from articles, books and other documents. The data were analyzed using philological content analysis, in which the reading of KH's educational thoughts. Hasyim Asy'ari is associated with his current development. From the results of the study resulted in conclusions, 1) the source of educational thinking goals according to KH. Hasyim Asy'ari is to humanize in his position as a creation that gives birth to awareness to carry out his rights and obligations to God the creator of man, this is the embryo of the birth of character education; 2) Islamic education is not only religious knowledge in material terms, but also general knowledge. So the opening of the curriculum by accepting general material (non-religious) is needed by pesantren; 3) Islamic boarding schools must be responsive to the times, follow the flow of change without letting go of the dignity of the pesantren.

Abstract

Strengthening capacity is a demand for policies that will be taken in the process of improvement or change for individuals or institutions in achieving predetermined goals. Strengthening the capacity in the business will have a significant impact on the sustainability of the business being carried out. Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school is one of the Islamic boarding schools which has significant influence on many aspects of community life. The existence of a pesantren business, namely EN-JE mart, is one of the income-generating business units for the pesantren. The results of the study obtained from this study include the strategies used by EN-JE mart to attract consumers, both in terms of improving the organizational structure, budget capacity, facilities and infrastructure, and services. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, the description obtained from the results of this study aims to provide insight and further assess the positive performance of EN-JE mart.

Abstract

The implementation of the pilgrimage in the mid-19th century experienced a significant increase. Various purposes and activities they do while in the holy land. Hajj is a means of communication between a servant and his Creator. This worship was first prescribed in the sixth year of the Hijrah. The word al-Hajj according to language means intentional. Therefore, according to the term Islamic shari'a, it means deliberately visiting the Ka'bah in Mecca to perform several series of acts of worship according to the pillars and conditions that have been determined by syara'. Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and the fourth point of worship, which is ordered after the three previous points of worship are prescribed, namely: prayer, fasting in Ramadan, and zakat. Hajj has many roles and many benefits. This study is examined by looking at the contribution of the Hajj in various social fields that occur after performing the worship for the people in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the era of modernization today, shaping society depends on social media. Not except for generation Z in their teens before adulthood, a period where this generation has a process searching for identity, including in the process of religion, the phenomenon of generation Z's present migration in Kediri viewed from the perspective of the Rational Choice Theory. In this study, researchers used qualitative research with a phenomenological approach by observing and interviewing the Z generation who following the present hijrah as many as 19 people, consisting of 6 men and 13 women. The result of research on the phenomenon of generation Z contemporary hijrah in Kediri City is behavioral and cultural changes without any influence of ideology as the examples of transnational ideology. It is popular that Generation Z has done since following the hijrah process follows the hijrah in the path of self-awareness. It changes the habitual attributes used in everyday life, such as how to wear clothes in stars. The hijrah carried out by Generation Z has nothing to do with things that lead to an interest in joining or choices in politics or political activities.

Abstract

There is no denying that what the hadith says is absolutely true. However, not all agree that the interpretation and meaning of a hadith is absolutely correct. One of the hadiths that is not denied the truth and not all agree on the interpretation of its meaning is the hadith about women's leadership. In this study, researchers will discuss the contextualization of the use of hadith about female leaders. By contextualizing what was the reason the Prophet issued a hadith statement forbidding women to become leaders. This study uses a library research method with a normative descriptive approach, describes the asababul wurud hadith and contextualizes the leadership and role of women in past and current government, then the legal conclusions are drawn. It is hoped that this research can contribute to strengthening the discourse on women's leadership, and at that time women are seen as having the same opportunities as men in terms of being elected as executive or legislative members.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Spiritual Educational learning model to jump-start children's spiritual intelligence. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with case study type. The research site is located in Sinar Harapan Kindergarten, Probolinggo City. Data collection techniques by means of interviews and in-depth observation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the Spiritual Educational learning model applies several Islamic learning activities on a regular and structured basis to boost children's spiritual intelligence. The implication is that it takes a variety of activities and a fun approach to be able to jump-start children's spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the role of parents in responding to the development of technology for children. This research method uses a case study approach in Pakuniran Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency. Collecting data used by means of surveys, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques were carried out using data collection, data editing, data presentation and conclusion of research results. The results of this study state that the role of parents in dealing with increasingly sophisticated technological developments is by: understanding all applications on gadgets, providing educational rewards, and providing intensive supervision and assistance. It was found that there is a need for intensive supervision and assistance from parents to reduce and prevent the negative impact of gadgets on children.

Abstract

Abstract: As the month of Ramadan approaches, one of the discussions that will almost certainly become the subject of public discussion is about when to start the fasting month of Ramadan. Muslims seem to be divided in the discourse of the difference between reckoning and rukyah. The Imkanurrukyah method or the visibility of the hilal which is considered capable of being a mediating bridge between the two methods turns out to only apply in a few countries, not all countries are willing to accept these criteria. Countries that use the Maliki School as a reference for Islamic law in the North African region are one of the groups that are quite difficult to accept the criteria for the visibility of the new moon. This paper discusses the legal basis for the use of the rukyah method by the Maliki school and what its implications are for determining the beginning of the lunar month in people who follow this school. After conducting a study of various existing literatures, the argument that was built from the writing of this paper is that the Maliki School does not recognize the reckoning method as one of the methods in determining the beginning of the Hijri month. Furthermore, the monarchical political system adopted by most countries in the region is the reason why in the region there has never been a difference in determining the beginning and end of fasting even though globally their decisions are different from those of other countries and schools. Kata Kunci: Kalender Hijriah, Mazhab Maliki, Rukyah, Hilal.
