Abstract

The creative economy is a new era of economic concepts that prioritizes information and creativity and relies on human resources' ideas as the primary production factor in economic activities. Pariaman City's traditional embroidered cloth business is one of the creative industries of the fashion sub-sector. The Embroidery Naras fabric business in Kota Pariaman has seen a drastic decrease in sales turnover since the Covid-19 pandemic, so entrepreneurs are looking for alternative solutions to increase their sales again. There are two types of data used: primary data and secondary data. Data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions are the data analysis techniques used in this study. Abstract

Batik is one of the handicrafts that has high artistic value which has been passed down from generation to generation by the ancestors of the Indonesian nation since the Majapahit Kingdom and continues to be preserved today. However, we have discovered the reality that currently there are still many people who do not fully understand the meaning or philosophy behind batik motifs. Through this, it is necessary to have an educational process for the community, one of which can be carried out by the batik industry. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview regarding how the educational process carried out by Kampung Batik Kauman, especially Batik Gunawan Setiawan, is to provide a comprehensive understanding of batik to the public. This research was conducted in Surakarta, namely in Kauman Batik Village, precisely in Gunawan Setiawan Batik. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The results showed that there were several educational processes carried out by Batik Gunawan Setiawan, such as creating a batik gallery, conducting batik exhibitions and holding batik training. Furthermore, the process of batik education in the community is analyzed using Structural-Functional Theory - Radcliffe Brown as a countermeasure to tensions. As he stated that culture is not to satisfy individuals but to fulfill the social structure of society and emerge to overcome tensions such as theft of cultural identity due to the lack of public concern regarding local culture.

Abstract

Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta is one of Indonesia's most meaningful and historic cultural heritages. One of the most impressive elements of the temple is the Kresnayana Relief, which depicts the epic story of Lord Vishnu transforming into Kresna. This relief has high artistic and historical value, but understanding and appreciation of the story is often limited. This research aims to design an interactive media that combines visual language with modern technology, focusing on the Kresnayana Relief. Through literature studies, surveys, interviews, and visual art analysis, we understand the story of the Kresnayana Relief and the interest of visitors to Prambanan Temple in interactive media. The result of this research is an interactive media prototype designed to provide an immersive experience in understanding the Kresnayana Relief story. The prototype includes a user-friendly interface, visual animation, narration, and audio elements that aim to enhance visitors' understanding and appreciation of this relief.

Abstract

Ketoprak is a traditional Javanese performing art that incorporates elements of karawitan, dance, comedy, song, acting, and artistic arrangements. Traditional art is divided into two types, such as folk art and classical art, or palace art. Ketoprak is a folk art that has its origins among the people who live outside the palace. As a folk art, ketoprak is also used to communicate to the authorities issues that the people are concerned about. Criticizing through the performing arts is a powerful way to express criticism without taking offense. Ketoprak is usually performed by a group of artists on stage. However, in recent years, ketoprak performances have been performed not only by community performer groups but also by state officials taking the cast of characters on stage. The involvement of state officials at all levels, from regional to ministerial, as well as guest stars and main characters. Including those carried out under the RRI Yogyakarta ketoprak program. The descriptive qualitative research method was used to figure out how the implementation of the ketoprak program at RRI can preserve ketoprak's dignity as a folk theater, despite the fact that it is represented by state officials, by conducting interviews with program producers and respected ketoprak performers from Yogyakarta. The study's findings show that in its development, ketoprak was divided into two forms, conventional ketoprak which was standard with rules or pakem that were still preserved by RRI Yogyakarta and ketoprak garapan which is open to be interpreted in various ways and is free to be casted by anyone, including officials who are performed in the live version of the RRI Ketoprak Program.

Abstract

Public order is an ideal that can create calm, comfort and tranquility in people's lives. However, this is still far from being felt by the people of Jantho City, Aceh Besar Regency. This is due to the large number of livestock roaming around in public places such as residential areas, offices, parks, roads, etc. The rise in cases such as accidents, crop destruction and environmental pollution caused by animal waste needs to be a cause for concern. The regional government through Aceh Besar Regent Regulation No.5/2021 concerning Procedures for Controlling Livestock in Aceh Besar Regency has made efforts to prevent and resolve the above problems. In fact, until now the government seems to have turned a blind eye to what is happening in public. This needs to be a common concern in order to create order in livestock that is oriented towards orderly community life. This phenomenon is interesting to actualize in the form of a dance work entitled "Leumo Lon Sayang, Sayang Na Leumo". The aim of this research is to create a dance as criticism regarding Aceh Besar Regent Regulation No.5/2021. The method used in this research is Alma Hawkins method which consists of exploration, improvisation and forming. <w
