Abstract

Communication skills and moral education are key in social interaction with others. Mentally retarded students experience a disruption in developing communication and the need to provide moral education to retarded mental students. This study aims to analyze the communication skills and moral education of mental retardation students in elementary schools. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. This study used three types of data collection techniques, including observation, documentation, and interviews. The technique used to analyze data in this study is interactive data analysis consisting of the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the implementation of the study in addition to experiencing learning difficulties, mental retardation students also experience a disruption in communication. Retarded mental students have difficulty communicating with their friends and also with their teachers. The mentally retarded Shiva also has not received the maximum moral education.

Abstract

The Character Guidebook is a reference book for elementary school age children that aims to foster a sense of tolerance and love for the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to implement a character manual developed by the research team. The study involved 25 and accompanying teachers at SDN Taman 4 Madiun. Data validation or data validity refers to data triangulation methods including source triangulation, methods and researchers. Data analysis techniques in this study refer to the interactive models of Miles and Hubermen which include: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) conclusion drawing. The results of implementation with the role of the character manual, character building to foster a sense of tolerance have a positive impact. Through the use of the character manual, it is hoped that it can become a guideline for teachers and students to apply the character, especially the sense of tolerance that is applied as a support for learning in school.

Abstract

Curriculum as one of the important components in achieving educational goals in school. No exception in the Muhammadiyah school, which has a curriculum from the primary and secondary education board of the Muhammadiyah central leadership, must also be adapted to the government in Kulon Progo district. Therefore SD Muhammadiyah Kalisoka developed the ISMUBA curriculum but also implemented regulations to strengthen character education.Objective: To know the implementation of regulations on strengthening character education in Muhammadiyah KalisokaMethod: Field research at SD Muhammadiyah Kalisoka, Tuksono, Sentolo, Kulon ProgoResults: The regulation on strengthening character education has been inputted in developing the Islamic curriculum at Muhammadiyah Elementary School KalisokaConclusion: From the results of the study it was found that Muhammadiyah Kalisoka Elementary School had succeeded in developing regional regulations to strengthen character education in its ISMUBA curriculum and had met the achievement indicators.

Abstract

The curriculum is a reference component for each education unit and directs all forms of educational activities to achieve educational goals. The curriculum becomes an absolute requirement of education and becomes an integral part of education and teaching.Muhammadiyah Jogokariyan Elementary School Yogyakarta is one of Muhammadiyah's Business Charities under the Regional Education Council of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Regional Leaders also uses 2 curricula (government curriculum and Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Regional Leadership curriculum).One of the curriculums developed at Muhammadiyah Jogokariyan Elementary School in Yogyakarta is about memorizing the Qur'an, thank God that with Tahfidz every year his students always increase and gain the trust of the community.

Abstract

Tauhid is the main core and the main foundation of Islamic teachings that need to be reflected in the world of education. Therefore, monotheism-based education into all activities includes coaching, fostering and developing students' self-potential that comes from God. So this research is focused on the discussion of the construction of a monotheism-based education curriculum applied by Ar-Rohmah Putri Middle School Malang Boarding School along with its management (management). This research uses a qualitative approach that is a type of case study with in-depth interviews and participant observation as data collection techniques. While analyzing data, researchers used the interactive models of Miles and Hubermann. This research concludes, curriculum construction in the institution refers to the systematic revelation as the basis of tauhid-based education. The foundation is seen from the typology of the philosophy of Islamic education including the category of Tawhid-based Social Reconstruction. Curriculum management includes the planning process by formulating a mission and goal vision; organizing is focused on the integration of religion and science; its application includes the values of monotheism and the views of Islam into subjects; and evaluating using adab evaluation.

Abstract

The existence of a holy man, a lover of God, the doctrine of Islam called Wali Allah. Activity pilgrimage to the tomb not only pray, but also to gain supernatural powers of spirits who are in sacred locations. The supernatural aspect is often called barkah and Karmah. This study focuses on the tomb of Mbah Priok, Koja, North Jakarta. Tomb became the object of pilgrimage because they have the blessings and miracles. This study uses an interpretive ethnography, how pilgrims give meaning to the tomb. Results of the study note that the pilgrims who visit the tomb of Mbah Priok, Koja, North Jakarta generally have confidence that Mbah Priok has a big name in the field of religion and meritorious. In addition to the belief in the ability or strength possessed mystical Mbah Priok during his lifetime. In general, the pilgrims visited tomb in an attempt to establish communication with Allah. In addition to efforts to denounce the problems of life, which is dominated by economic issues. There are several pilgrim deliberately pilgrimage to tomb to reach certain spiritual stages. In thiscase the shrine of the tomb, Koja, North Jakarta involves the conception of the trustees as an essential part of determining the blessings and miracles.

Abstract

Child is a gift from Allah SWT that we must guard. Giving an Islamic education since childhood in the family environment is a mandatory task for both parent. Building an  Islamic educational values can be done by telling the story through a letter of the Quran, one of which is the Luqman letter. Islamic education values contained in the Luqman letter are considered capable in forming an Islamic character, especially for children. Telling the story of  a letter of Luqman is one choice to guard children as early as possible, from negative environmental influences in this globalization era filled with sophistication and easiness in accessing all forms of information. The concept of Islamic education for children in the family was done by involving aspects of worship, Muslim beliefs and morals as well as children intellectual. Guiding an Islamic Education is the essential foundation for his own survival in the future. It was hoped to increase the sense of belief in Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study entitled Analysis of Reading Difficulties in Mental Retardation Students In Primary School (Case Study In SDN Kedungputri 2). The background of this research is the emergence of learning problems in mentally retarded children attending regular elementary school (not designated as inclusive primary). This study aims to find out the learning process, especially learning to read mental retardation children in SDN Kedungputri 2, Paron, Ngawi and to find out the steps taken in overcoming the difficulties of reading children mental retardation in SDN Kedungputri 2, Paron, Ngawi. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collected in this research are facts and information on the implementation of character education of discipline in elementary school. In this study the data source is teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this study consist of (a) observation, (b) interview, and (c) test. In this study the validity of the data using data triangulation. Data analysis technique is done by using interactive data model analysis technique. Based on the data collected can be seen that students who experience mental retardation initials AS and the students have difficulty reading. Teachers continue to pay attention to the difficulties of learning to read the beginning to the AS.

Abstract

The development of the madrasa in the context of modern it is quite interesting if it is linked with the phenomenon of globalization which brings significant changes to systems and madrasah curriculum which previously was the result of the development of the educational system individually and pretty loaded with Islamic education. Recent development shows that the madrasa has been doing adaptations with the demands of globalization, which became a milestone for the formation of "modern" madrasah with an image in contrast to the madrasa. In this context, the madrasa seems to not see globalization as a thing to be feared but should be faced.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah is one of non-formal Islamic religious education institutions organized in a structured and tiered as a complement to the implementation of the religious educations, whose the students come from the learners of formal educations (SD/MI, SMP/MTs and SMA/MK) with the aim to increase and enrich the religious knowledge. This research was written in the quantitative descriptive and the data were collected by interview and documentations. In Ponorogo district, there were 523 Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah educational institutions, 49.364 students and 4812 teachers spreading over 280 villages, 21 sub-districts, and 102 boarding schools in 18 sub-districts. The educational curriculum system used a unified principle for its policy and diversity in the implementation. Most of the teachers (2995 - 69,8%) were still graduated of senior high school, some of them had been using scholarship program given by East Java governor. The scholarship had been given since 2012 – 2013, 2013 – 2014, 2014 – 2015 and 2015 – 2016, working together with Islamic State/Private University in East Java. One of university was Islamic Religious Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. The data above showed that the attention of Ponorogonese people towards Islamic education was very high, for those, Ponorogo is called Kota Santri.
