IMPLEMENTATION OF SEA CUCUMBER CULTIVATION IN MADWAER VILLAGE, SOUTHEAST MALUKU. Sea cucumbers or Teripang (Holothuria sp) is a fishery commodity that has economic value. Sea cucumbers are often caught and sold by a group of people in Madwaer village, Southeast Maluku regency. The value of perceived benefits motivates them (partners) to try to cultivate sea cucumbers by utilizing the coastal conditions in their village. Limitations of knowledge about the technique of making cucumber cultivation container, technology of sea cucumber rearing and management of sea cucumber business is a problem faced by partners. This activity aims to help partners solve the problems faced. The method used in this activity is elucidation, training and monitoring. From the results of the activity is known that partners have had the knowledge and skills so that they are able to make a good cultivation cucumber container, able to cultivate sea cucumbers and partners are able to do the management of sea cucumber business well.

SOCIALIZATION OF DRAGON FRUIT CULTURE FOR COASTAL REGION IN CINTARATU VILLAGE, PARIGI, DISTRICT OF PANGANDARAN. Dragon fruit is one type of potential fruits to be developed in the lowlands such as Pangandaran. Knowledge of dragon fruit cultivation in this area. An effort for the process of empowerment and community development for dragon fruit cultivation is with the socialization activities about the technology of dragon fruit cultivation. The purpose of this activity is to introduce dragon fruit plants to be cultivated in coastal areas of Pangandaran as one of the sources of food that rich with nutrition and support the improvement the nutrition of the community and allows to be an additional income for community. This activity was conducted in Cintaratu Village, Parigi, Pangandaran City by seminar and making the demonstration plot. The seminar was introduction of dragon fruit, explanation about the superiority and importance of dragon fruit as a source of nutrition, and also technology of dragon fruit cultivation in coastal area. In addition to making the demonstration plot (demplot) of dragon fruit on farmers' land. The results of this activities showed that there looks enthusiastic society to know more about what is the dragon fruit and how the dragon fruit culture techniques, so the dragon fruit in the area can develop. THE ROLE OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM OF PHYSICAL LABORATORY OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN METRO CITY, LAMPUNG. The Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia no. 19 of 2005 sets eight educational standards. The results survey found every high school in Metro City has been equipped with physics laboratory and has formed an organizational structure. But the physics laboratory to support the learning process, has not been done well. The purpose of this IbM (Ipteks bagi Masyarakat) Program is to apply theory and concept of Laboratory management in order to optimize the role of Physics Laboratory to supporting the learning process. The methods used are: Making of laboratory inventory website, workshop of the standard making of laboratory management, facilitation of website and arrangement of laboratory apparatus, workshop of making work program, workshop of making service, and doing simulation result of the workshop. The results obtained are: 1) Generally the condition of high school physics laboratory in Metro City has exceeded the standard up to 71,9%; 2) Aspects that do not meet government standards are no technicians and less on electric and sink socket facilities of 5,7%; 3) Utilization of high school laboratory inventory website gives a quite effective and significant impact in assisting the administration of laboratory equipment and facilitate access in tracking the existence of physics laboratory equipment and materials.

TRAINING AND MENTORING OF ORGANIC VEGETABLE CULTIVATION IN BAROS VILLAGE, SERANG REGENCY. The increasing number of people and public awareness about the health of the growing demand for organic vegetables is also increasing. This is one of the business opportunities in the field of organic agriculture, especially organic vegetable cultivation. The economic analysis of organic vegetable cultivation shows that organic vegetable cultivation is profitable, so it can be used as an effort to increase people's income. Organic vegetables are vegetables that are processed by environmentally friendly process, using organic materials from agricultural and livestock waste, without using synthetic chemical fertilizers, and synthetic pesticides. Baros Village, Baros District, Serang District is an agricultural area suitable for organic vegetable cultivation, the availability of land for agriculture, good irrigation, organic fertilizer source widely available, and close to the capital of Banten province. Organic vegetable cultivation uses organic ingredients from agricultural and livestock waste that are around the site. Selection of vegetable seeds is done by selecting seeds that are superior and needed by the community. Soil processing is done by plowing the soil, followed by basic fertilization. Organic vegetable preservation is done with advanced organic fertilization, weeding, irrigation, and vegetable pesticide administration. The harvesting process is done by selecting good organic vegetables, washing, and packing vegetables. The most important aspect of community service programs is the potential for sustainability. The sustainability of the Organic Vegetable Cultivation program is able to support the economy and public health.

SUSTAINED SILENT READING (SSR) TRAINING FOR TEACHERS IN SDN MEKARWANGI 1 AND 2 SAKETI DISTRICT PANDEGLANG REGENCY. Staff-training is one of eight principles that influences the success of Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) program. The eight principles of SSR program are access to book, book appeal, encourage to read, conducive environment, time to read, follow-up activity, non-accountability, and staff-training. This training facilitates the teachers in SDN Mekarwangi 1 and 2 to get the staff-training. The purpose of this training is to create an SSR program in those schools as a compulsory activity, read non-textbook reading for 15 minutes before class, which is obligated by government. Training was conducted a day in SDN Mekarwangi 1 and 2 through two steps: theoretical and practical material about SSR program. The result of the training is schools’ commitment and readiness to implement SSR program. SDN Mekarwangi 1 supported by school library is ready to implement SSR program next week after training, while SDN Mekarwangi 2 initiates One Student One Book movement to create class library before implementing SSR program. SSR activity in these two schools is adjusted to students’ condition thus in its implementation is combined with Read Aloud activity for lower class to keep motivation and the engagement of students’ reading activity in this SSR program.

THALASSEMIA SOCIALIZATION TO BIOLOGY TEACHERS IN BANYUMAS: EFFORT OF INTEGRATED PREVENTION THROUGH SCHOOL CURRICULUM. Thalassemia is a hematologic disease that causes hemoglobin blood defects. As a result, red blood cells become fragile and unable to perform their standard functions. Thalassemia in Indonesia is a quite lot. Recorded data, the carrier traits are about 3-10%, spread across all provinces. Currently, no final treatment can cure this disease altogether. Regular transfusion and iron chelating drugs are still survival of thalassemia patients. Prevention program is one of efficient handling. The pattern of thalassemia gene decline follows the laws of the recessive Mendel. Prevention is done by campaigning premarital screening to married couples or further to younger individuals so they can plan marriages wisely. High School Biology teachers are an essential factor in preventing thalassemia. They can deliver prevention programs through lessons at school. They can also be pioneers in an early self-detection carrier to teenagers before they plan a marriage. Because of its strategic role, the socialization of thalassemia in high school teachers becomes very important.

WORKSHOP OF STUDENT WORKSHEET COMPILATION FOR MATHEMATICS TEACHERS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN TELUKJAMBE, KARAWANG. The majority of math teachers use Student Worksheet (LKS) traded by the publisher’s distributor. The contents of LKS are less interesting and innovative. LKS does not help the participants to collect the material and learn their interest in mathematics learning. None or steps in the LKS which allows participants to discuss the concepts they are studying. According to the theory of constructivism a learner in learning must be able to mengkontruksi knowledge to understand a material. On that basis, we prepare training on the preparation of LKS. Activities undertaken through socialization with methods that in this devotion program is a method of lectures and exercises supported by discussion and question and answer. Output target after the implementation of this Program is the increase of the ability of Junior High School teachers who teach in class VII in preparing the LKS as well as the product of LKS.

BIOLOGY LEARNING BY DOING MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. Multiple choice question learning and understanding can help learning process in the classroom. To maximize its use as learning tool, the students can have finish the task in 2 ways: first they will finish the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) task during the class hours and submit it when the class over. Or it can be homework to the students and hand it over at the next meeting session. The research showed that the instructor/teacher prefer on use multiple choice not only due to administration, time saving and simplicity but also objective and consistent. Furthermore, the student based on research result more like Multiple choice question assignments because they can eliminate wrong answers and these questions form more objective than anothers. Beside that with this method the student can participate actively in learning process.

INCREASING LEARNING PRODUCTIVITY FOR STUDY GROUPS OF YOUTH ORGANIZATION IN SURAKARTA. The general conditions of non-formal education such as the current study group, the social activists of this society are certainly experiencing various obstacles, obstacles and problems as well as the ups and downs of its management, but they conclude that this social activity is seen as a challenge that must be addressed wisely so that they hope the existence of this learning group can continue to grow and develop in the future. This can be seen from many of his students in their respective areas who follow the learning group. Non-formal education groups targeted in the implementation of this PKM is the Study Group of “Rumah Anak Pintar” (RAP) in Kampung Sewu Village and Kratonan Learning Group. These two study groups are the guidance of the organization of youth. Identified partner issues are on education and socioeconomic fields. In the field of education, the ability of tutoring teacher is still limited to giving questions and corrections. There is no creative material such as storytelling and playing or the use of multimedia. The socio-economic problems are seen from the supporting infrastructure facilities in inadequate learning. This training activity is divided into two stages: (1) improvement of skills in learning (2) making multimedia-based teaching materials. The outcome of this activity is the making of multimedia-based teaching materials, skill enhancement in the delivery of story material and singing, as well as the provision of learning facilities.

EMPLOYABILITY SKILL TOT FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. The issue of employability is a serious problem in Vocational High School today. The data show that the highest unemployment is dominated by graduate of Vocational High School. Vocational High School graduates who are not ready to work much become unemployed because they can not compete and get a job. In addition, when it was working will be difficult to carry out tasks in the work that eventually turned over. Teachers have difficulty in improving students' readiness because teachers do not have good employability skills so that teachers can not teach their students. TOT Employability is implemented with the aim to train students and teachers to become employability skill trainers. TOT Employability implementation method with lecture, game, role play and discussion methods. Participants in TOT Employability are students and teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan and SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan Sleman. The results of this program are students and teachers have good interpersonal communication skills, adaptability, cooperative ability, self-management ability, high entrepreneurship desire, independence, discipline, responsibility and motivation to learn high. Students and teachers who have good employability skills are expected to apply it to other students so as to have an impact on the overall employability capability.
