Abstract

Based on the preliminary observation to the 5th grade student at SDN Cipanas, a problem that showed up is the low outcome of learning result. There is 22 students but only 6 students who passed with 27,27% and 16 students not passed yet with 72,73%. It caused by the conventional learning method that used by the teacher in the learning process which make the engagement of student lacking. Seeing this condition, the researcher applied problem based learning method to resolve the problem. Method that used in this research is classroom action research and used spiral model Kemmis Taggart. This research is held in three cycle because target is achieved in the 3rd cycle. The target itself is 85%. The learning result of the student, on the cycle I level of mastery is 45,45%, 72,73% on the cycle II, and for the cycle III the result is 90,91%. Based on the data from this research, it’s proved that problem based learning could improve learning result of the 5th grade student at SDN Cipanas.

Abstract

Based on observation of research which conducted on students grade Vb SDN 1 Keraton, Suranenggala Sub-District, Cirebon Regency, 2016/2017  academic year, it can be seen that the activity and student learning outcomes on the subject of economic activity in Indonesia are still below the KKM that has been determined by the school, with 68% percentage. Learning activities students which ineffective,  influenced by the student's lack of discipline while following the lesson and not obeying the rules. The research is using classroom action research (PTK) with research design that refers to Kemmis and Taggart scientists, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflesi. The instruments used are interviews, field notes, student activity observation format, teacher performance, and student learning outcomes.  from the research that has been done, It can be concluded  that the implementation of cooperative learning strategy, type TTW (Think Talk Write) is able to increase activity and student learning outcomes in the material of economic activity in Indonesia. The evident showing that from defined target, 85% student achieve KKM. On social science learning, 94,12% students avowed complete.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student learning result of fifth grade students of  SDN Talun with implementation of PUHI (Pop Up History of Indonesia) with Make a Match method. The form of this research was class action research. The research performed in three cycles, each cycle has four, each cycle cincist planing, implementing, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were  the fifth grade students of SDN Talun which consist of 25 students. The techniques of collecting data in this research are interview, observation, tests, and field notes. Data processing techniques used are data processing techniques and data processing techniques results. The validation of data used is member check, triangulation, and audit trail. The conclusion of this research is implementation of PUHI (Pop Up History of Indonesia) with Make a Match method can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Talun.

Abstract

The low rate of problem solving ability and student learning motivation are the one of background of this research. The purpose of research is to know the influence of open ended approach against that. This is research used experimental method. The sample of this research is the five grade students in Gunungsari I elementary school as the experimental group and Ranjikulon I elementary school as the control group. The result of this research is: (1) open ended approach affect the ability of problem solving and student learning motivation; (2) mathematical learning with open ended approach is better than conventional approach in term of increase the problem solving ability and student learning motivation; (3) there is a positive relationships between problem solving ability and student learning motivation; and (4) the supporting factor of learning using open ended approach is the teacher’s ability in presenting open problem, observation, and interview. Meanwhile the inhibiting factors is that the student not used to the open problem.

Abstract

Due to the problem of the research based on students who still lacking on writing skill esspecially unoccupied poem based on picture. Early data was November 8th 2016 that from 21 students, only 1 students who reached the target or only 4,76%. The purpose of this research to improved learning process and also learning result at 3rd grade Sukakerta Elementary School. The altenatif to solved problem by applying Digital Poem Visual Basis Kinestetic Audio Media. Class action research which has four steps applied were plan, action, observation, and reflection. Due to the result research proved that media affected to improved student result learning about writing poem learning. Writing poem skill also included word structure, verse, line at unoccupied poem. The increased result inclued three cycles were teacher performance about plan at 1st cycles reached 80%, 2nd cycles reached 91% and 3rd cycles reached 100%. Teacher performance about process learning at 1st cycles reached 78%, 2nd cycles reached 90% and 3rd cycles reached 100%.  Student activity at 1st reached 23% with good criteria, 2nd cycles got 47% with excellent criteria, 3dr cycles reached 100% with excellent criteria. Result learning at 1st cycles reached 47,61%, 2nd cycles got 71,42%, and 3rd cycles reached 85,71%. The conlusion of this research that by applying Digital Poem Visual Basis Kinestetic Audio Media improved writing skill of unoccupied poem based on picture.

Abstract

This research is based on the result of the research in PISA 2015 that science literacy on students is still low. Indonesia that ranked 69 from 76 countries with the average score is still 403 and it means in above average of international score that has 493. One of learning that can increase science literacy on students is problem based learning. It uses the learning that base on problem and the differences of the increasing scale of students’ behavior on science. The method and design in this research uses pre-experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research are 4th grade elementary students in Kecamatan Palasah with the subjects are from SDN Waringin II and SDN Palasah I. The result of the research shows that learning that based on problem can advance students’ science literacy on those three groups. However, there are the differences the increasing level on those three groups and also the difference of the increasing scale on those three groups.

Abstract

Skills Process Sciences (KPS) is a process in doing activities related to science. Scientific process skills can be improved through a lesson that can support students to participate more actively during the learning process. One of the ways used to make students more active during the learning process is by applying contextual teaching or learning (CTL). In learning CTL, teacher's role is as facilitator, motivator, and creator to help construct student's knowledge. CTL learning can improve the science process skills of class V students on material changes in the properties of objects. This is evidenced by the research that has been done by using classroom action research methods that have done for three cycles. Based on the research, the application of CTL can improve the science process skills of Cikondang II State Elementary School students

Abstract

Mathematical connection means the important component of the students on learning mathematics. While, adversity quotient, in short AQ shows the ability of someone on facing and solving the difficulties in their life. Contextual approach is used as an alternative way for increasing the students’ ability in mathematical connection and their AQ. Research method on this research is quasi-experiment design nonequivalen pretest-postest control group design with cluster sampling techniques, SDN 1 Cikalahang and SDN 1 Bobos as the research sample. Instruments used in this research are test of mathematical connection which has been validated and questionnaire which measures the students’ AQ. The result finding reports that the contextual approach better than conventional approach which have positive effect to mathematics connection, can be seen from the improvement of mathematical connection capability in class use contextual approach. However, the contextual approach and conventional approach doesn’t positive effect students AQ, there is doesn’t increase the students’ AQ. Then, the result finding shows there are no relationsip between the ability of mathematical connection and AQ of the students in class use contextual approach and conventional approach.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of ips learning in elementary school. The formulation of the problem as follows: how the planning, implementation, and description of the learning outcomes of the application of CTL model circled media to show the type and distribution of natural resources in SDN Randegan Wetan 1.6This application is implemented in order to improve and improve the learning process. The method used in this research is the method of PTK with research subjects of students of class IV. The research design used is the McMalm model. Taggart and istrumen used are teacher performance observation instruments, student performance observation, field notes, interview guides, and test questions sheet.2Based on the results of research conducted as much as 2 cycles, the percentage of achievement mastery increased from the initial data up to cycle 2 can be said to increase. In the initial data of student learning outcomes, the percentage of mastery reaches 35.8%, in cycle 1 the percentage of completeness reaches 64.2%, and in cycle 2 the percentage of completeness reaches 85.7%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the application of CTL7model of circular media on the subject shows the type and distribution of natural resources is said9to be successful.
