Abstract

This research aimed to increase of student learning achievement through the use of CorongBerhitung mediaon Mathematics subject at the second grade of State Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru, Tampan District.  This research was instigated by the low of student learning achievement that could not reach the minimum standard of passing grade determined 75. This research was a Classroom Action Research.  The subjects of this research were the teachers and students, and the objects were theuse of CorongBerhitung media and learning achievement.This research was conducted for two cycles, and every cycle comprised two meetingswith several steps-planning/preparing the action, implementing, observing, and reflecting.  Observation, learning achievement test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data.  The technique of analyzing the data was Descriptive analysis that was started from obtaining, arranging, processing, presenting, and analyzing the numerical data to get the description of a symptom, event or situation.Based on the research findings, the use of CorongBerhitung media could increase student learning achievement.  It was known that the mean was 55.56% before the action and it was on less than 60% interval that was on poor category.  After implementing the media in the first cycle, the student learning achievement increased to 75% that was on 70%-79% interval and it was on enough category.  In the second cycle, the student learning achievement increased to 100% that was on 90%-100% interval and it was on very good category.  Thus, it could be concluded that the use of CorongBerhitung media could increase student learning achievementat the second grade of State Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru, Tampan District.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the integration patterns that can be applied by a teacher in the learning process. In this study the authors used the literature research method, with data collection techniques conducting a review of books, literature, notes related to the integration of religious values in shaping student character. Integration of religious values is the inclusion of values into the learning process so that children have character and behave based on good religious values. Through integration, it provides complex goals for learning outcomes, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. There are two patterns of integration that can be carried out by teachers in the learning process, namely: (1) inculcating religious values into teaching material, the meaning is when the teacher provides an explanation or the process of transferring knowledge, the teacher does not only provide knowledge, but the teacher instills religious values. inside it. (2) The use of Islamic symbols for learning content means the inculcation of religious values through the content in learning, such as questions or material examples using the Islamic symbols in Islam.Keywords: Integration, religious values, student character

Abstract

This research aimed at developing student workbook Problem Based Learning model based that was valid and practical to increase student mathematic problem-solving ability.  This research was instigated by student mathematic problem-solving ability that was on low category, student workbook that was inappropriate to increase student mathematic problem-solving ability.  It was a Research and Development with 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model.  The subjects of this research were 39 students of the fifth grade of class C, and the object was mathematics student workbook Problem Based Learning model based.  The collected data were primary, and the techniques of collecting the data were interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation.  The instruments of collecting the data were the instruments of validity test, practicality test, pretest and posttest questions of mathematic problem-solving ability.  The obtained data were analyzed by using Descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative analysis techniques.  Based on the research findings and data analyses, it could be concluded that validity level of student workbook was valid with 86.92% percentage, and it had been proper to be tested.  After testing, the practicality level was on very practical category with 95.6% percentage.  The analysis result of student mathematic problem-solving ability level after using the workbook generally was on high category with 83.06% percentage.  It meant that students were able to solve the problems overall.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the madrasah strategy in internalizing the values of religious character to students. The type of research the writer uses is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, documentation and participatory observation. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The internalization stage or inculcation of religious character values for classes 1-2 MI Nurussalam is at the value transformation stage, classes 2 (process) and 3 are at the value transaction stage, while classes 4, 5 and 6 MI are at the value trans-internalization stage. MI Nurussalam's strategy in internalizing the values of religious character is divided into two fields, namely the academic and non-academic fields. The strategy in the academic field of MI Nuruusalam is to develop the Madrasah curriculum from grade 1 to grade 6 by adding special Islamic subjects and fostering a love affair with Arabic (the key to opening Islamic insights). In the non-academic field, MI Nurussalam integrates religious character values into routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary activities, and the Madrasah environmental conditioning system.

Abstract

Behind the independence of the Indonesian State, many things are behind it. Education in Indonesia has existed since ancient times, to be precise in the pre-literacy era. Its development started from the pre-script era, the Hindu-Buddhist kingdom, and Islam until today. Ki Sarmidi Mangunsarkoro is an important factor in the field of education in Indonesia. The Minister of Teaching, Education and Culture, which he occupied, made many changes in Indonesia. The establishment of the Jakarta branch of Taman Siswa made children around them grow interested in reading and provided schools for children from underprivileged families. This study aims to improve students' enthusiasm for learning and to have a sense of struggle for education in Indonesia. The method that can be done is by looking for information about the history of Ki Sarmidi Mangunsarkoro from the history books of the Minister and the Indonesian Cabinet as well as the history books of Ki Sarmidi Mangunsarkoro. The results of this study show that students have a high enthusiasm for learning so that they can continue to the tertiary level and education in Indonesia becomes more advanced. Students have the nature of the view that education is very important. With the history of Ki Sarmidi Mangunsarkoro, there are a lot of knowledge of attitudes and morals that can be taken, one of which is educational.

Abstract

this research is intended to describe the starting skiills of students class 1 SD Negeri 004 of Batu Ampar, based on kindergarten students and non-kindergarten students. The subject of this was 20 students class 1 SD Negeri 004 of Batu Ampar stone made up of 10 students who graduated from kindergarten and 10 those students who didn’t graduate from kindergarten. The method employed in the study is a quatitative descriptive method and dating-collection instrument consisting of tests consisting of 20 short written tests, which divide into four types of the vait: thicking letters, thicking words, copying words and copying sentences. The data obtained is further analyzed using a descriptive statistical technique. Studies suggest that there is a differenc betwen the ability to write an undergraduate students. In wich one woul have been a hundred times better writing ability for kindergarten students than avarage grades for kindergarten students 86,1%  in “very good” and students didn’t kindergarten are 74,2%  in category “good”.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai problematika pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupkan penelitian survey deskriptif kualitatif. Rentang waktu penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2020. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 2 narasumber  yaitu guru SD Muhammadiyah Kampa Full Day School. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa problematika yang dialami guru dalam pembelajaran matematika yang meliputi: aspek guru kesulitan mengembangkan materi yang ada dalam buku karena teralu banyak materi yang akan diajarkan dan guru hanya menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. untuk aspek peserta didik yaitu kurangnya minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika, pemahaman konsep yang kurang matang, semangat belajar yang kurang dan siswa tidak termotivasi saat belajat matematika, dikalangan siswa banyak yang memandang matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan, siswa sering kali menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan menggunakan rumus atau aturan yang umum dan ketidakkemampuan siswa belajar secara mandiri. Dan yang terakhir adalah aspek lingkungan suasana kelas yang kurang kondusif.Kata kunci: Belajar Matematika, Problematika Pembelajaran.

Abstract

Thisstudyaims toimprove poetry writing skills with acrostic techniques in elementary school students. This research is descriptive qualitative. This type of research is a class action research (Class Action Research). The research carried out consisted of two cycles, each cycle being carried out three times.TheThe research procedure includes planning, implementing the action, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 34 grade V elementary school students.After carrying out the research in the first cycle 21 of 34 students got a score of 72.35 who got a "low" qualification. After that, the second cycle of research was carried out, 33 students got an average score of 80 in the "High" qualification. Based on the results of the research in the first and second cycles it proves that the application of acrostic techniques in learning to write poetry in fifth grade elementary school students is very appropriate because the application of these techniques can improve student learning outcomes in writing poetry for the better.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the problem that it was found that there were still students who were enrolled in school at the age that had been determined by the government (seven years). The result of an interviwe with the parik putuih integrated Islamic Elemtery School teacher stated that there were students who entered school in 2016 who were under the age of seven. This study aims to see whether on variable has a relationship with other variables. Data collection wascarried out using the documentation method to see the chronological age at the beginning of school entry and semester I and II grades from grade 1 to grade 3 elementary shool. This study uses data analysis spearman Rank Correlation (Grade Correlation). The results obtained using the Spearman Rank Correlation technique otained hit 0,352 and tab at a significant level of 5% is 0.364. It is proven that there is no relationship between crhonological age at the beginning of school and student achievement. The result show that H_0 is accept and H_a  is rejected. So it can be concluded that the level of relationship between crhonological age at the beginning of school entry and student achievement at SDIT Baiturrahim Parik Putuih Kabupaten Agam is at a low level or there is not relationship.

Abstract

Researchers conducted a field study to SD PAB 20, and found problems regarding student learning outcomes that were unsatisfactory in science lessons because there was no activity-based learning process (practicum), learning was still limited in time and media.  Therefore, in this study, researchers made the development of activity-based teaching materials in simple electrical circuit material to improve student learning outcomes, increase creativity and critical nature of students.  Before research into the field, the media created were validated by material experts and design experts.  The results of the material expert validation show 80% and the design expert validation is 92.8%.  From these results it can be classified that teaching materials that have been made are proven to be valid and tested for eligibility for testing to students.  For processing student data through pre and posttest, researchers used the N-Gain formula.  From the average pretest results obtained 46 and posttest results obtained an average of 84. If these values are classified, the final result is 70%. The figure is included in the high criteria.  So it can be concluded that, activity-based teaching materials used, can improve student learning outcomes and foster student creative nature.
