Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language about the material of writing moral text stories by using picture media in grade VIII.2 students of SMP Negeri 2, Rambah, Rokan Hulu, Riau. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri 1, totaling 30 students. The action research was carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection in this study uses the test and observation methods. Research data about the material to write moral story texts were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The results showed that learning by using serial images media could improve Indonesian learning outcomes in the material to write moral story text in class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri 1, which in the initial condition results before being given an average rating of 63.16. In the first cycle by using serial media there was an increase so that the average grade of the class was 70.01. In the second cycle showed an increase with an average of 86.67. Based on research on improving the ability to write moral story text using serial media in class VIII.2 students of SMPN 2 Rambah, it is recommended that Indonesian teachers use serial media in learning to write moral story text and carry out learning that motivates students to be active and feel happy in participating in learning Indonesian, one of which is by using serial media

Abstract

This research, spesifically, an experiment that delivering the practice of arm muscle strength and shoulder to increase the result. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Rokan IV Koto Kab. Rokan Hulu. The clasification result of samples, it was obtained 15 samples. This research used the models of total random sampling.The instrument of research used a test of weight throw and data with using t-test formula manually. The result shows an average of pre-test is 5.78. meanwhile, average of post-test is 6.30. with 5.740 t count and 1.761 for t table. This research indicates that the practice of arm muscle strength and sholuder could increase weight throw result.

Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain a description of the process of improving the skill of poetry text writing aided by mind mapping of third grade students of SDN 006 Rambah Rokan Hulu. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data of this study are observations about the actions of teachers and students in learning, field notes and student learning outcomes. Data from observations of teacher activities and field notes were analyzed qualitatively. Data on learning outcomes to write pantun texts and observations of student activities were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that mind mapping used as a tool in learning can improve student learning activities and outcomes in writing pantun texts. The learning process with the help of mind mapping helps students generate key ideas and explanatory ideas, and connect these ideas in coherent and coherent sentences. Thus, learning to write poetry texts aided by mind mapping makes students think critically, logically, and systematically. Meanwhile, factors that hinder learning to write pantun texts with the help of mind mapping are less than optimal classroom management and lack of student vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade II students at SDN 013 Rambah. This type of research is classroom action research or action research. The results obtained from this study, By providing intensive guidance to students, especially when students experience learning difficulties, students' mastery of mastery classically increased from the first cycle there were 23 students who reached KKM with a percentage of completeness 82.1% and those who did not reaching KKM of 5 students with a percentage of 17.8%. Classically learning outcomes have not been declared complete. In the second cycle the learning outcomes increased there were 26 students who reached KKM with a percentage of completeness 92.9% and those who did not achieve KKM were 2 people with a percentage of 7.1% classically the student learning outcomes were complete.

Abstract

The research objective of this research was to determine the effect of plyometric exercises with the type of exercise jumping to the box straight-ahead speed kickmale student pencak silat extracurricular SMP N 44 Palembang. This research is a quasi experimental pretsest posttest. The population in this study were allmale student pencak silat extracurricular SMP N 44 Palembang totaling 30 students, with a total sample of 30 students drawn the entire population was divided into 2 groups using the technique of ordinal pairing of 15 students as the experimental group were given perlakuakn and 15 students as a control group that wasnot treated. The instrument used to test the straightahead kick for 10 seconds. While data analysis technique using the t test. The conclusion from these results is that the type of exercise plyometric exercises with the jump box affect the speed of the front straight kick in the experimental group. And the results of ypothesis testing using t test with significance level α = 0.05 and 95% confidence interval = 1.70 was obtained tcount at 7.77 so 7.77> 1.70 means there is a plyometric exercise influence on the speed of the front straight kick Extracurricular son martial arts students of SMP N 44 Palembang. From these results it can be concluded that plyometric training with this type of exercise can affect the speed jump box in a shot straight in front of students in extracurricular son martial arts SMP N 44 Palembang

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and activeness in science subjects at SDN 006 Bangun Purba using cooperative learning methods of group investigation type. This type of research is action research or action research. The instruments used were observation sheets and performance tests. The results showed an increase in student learning activeness as evidenced by the student activity score from pre-cycle of 58.62%, then the first cycle of 68.97%, and Cycle II of 82.25%. Furthermore, an increase in student learning outcomes, namely pre-cycle students who completed as many as 7 students (48.28%) and an average of 64. In the first cycle there was an increase in the number of students who completed learning by 10 students (72.41%) and the average average reached 69, then in cycle II completed learning 14 students (100%) with an average of 75. It was concluded that the cooperative learning method of the type of investigation group could increase the activity of learning and student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kepada pembaca, pada generasi muda dan penikmat Koba tentang makna dan fungsi yang terkandung dalam Koba Panglima Awang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Data pada umumnya berupa pencatatan, foto, rekaman, dan dokumen resmi lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dalam koba Panglimo Awang memiliki makna dan fungsi. Berdasarkan makna Koba Panglimo Awang memiliki tiga kategori makna itu adalah (1) kasih sayang, (2) kesadaran kolektif, dan (3) pengakuan stratifikasi social, sedangkan berdasarkan fungsinya Koba Panglima Awang sebagai salah satu media berfungsi pewarisan pendidikan yang turun temurun dari ke generasi-generasi selanjutnya. Selanjutnya fungsi sebagai harga diri, adanya kebudayaan yang turun temurun yang harus diwarisi. Fungsi selanjutnya yaitu sebagai hiburan dalam koba terdapat pada alur, pantun bidal-bidal dan keseluruhan koba fungsi sebagai hiburan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dapat dsimpulkan bahwa Koba Panglimo Awang memiliki makna dan Fungsi.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahwa otak memiliki kemampuan menangani algoritma rumit secara bersamaan dalam jumlah tak terbatas, jauh melebihi kemampuan prosesor komputer tercanggih sekalipun. Tapi sayangnya manusia tidak mampu mengoptimalkan seluruh potensi otak tersebut, sehingga otak tidak memungkinkan semua jejak ingatan itu tersimpan terus dengan sempurna, melainkan berangsur-angsur akan menghilang. Tetapi ketika orang yang bersangkutan diminta untuk mengingat kembali hal yang sudah mulai terlupakan sebagian itu. Manusia cenderung untuk menyempurnakan sendiri bagian-bagian yang terlupa tersebut dengan cara mengkreasikan sendiri detil-detil cerita itu. Akibatnya, sebuah cerita tentang suatu peristiwa yang pernah disaksikan oleh seseorang akan berubah-ubah dari masa ke masa. Makin lama jarak waktu antara kejadian awal dengan saat bercerita, maka makin banyak perubahannya. Maka dari itu penulis mengangkat judul “Ingatan, lupa dan transfer dalam belajar dan pembelajaran ” agar kita semua mengetahui segala hal yang berkaitan dengan lupa yang semoga dapat bermanfaat untuk para pembacanya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the character of students at SDN 006 Rambah by applying the game's method. This type of research is action research with qualitative and quantitative methods. The instrument used was a student observation sheet. The results of the study on listening to the first cycle of listening skills are in the poor category, which is 65%. Furthermore, in the second cycle the average student activity is in the sufficient category, which is 60%. In learning writing skills the first cycle on average is in the sufficient category, which is 65%. Then in cycle II the average student activity is in the good category, which is 85%. In learning the speaking skills of the first cycle the average is in the sufficient category, which is 70%. Then in cycle II the average student activity is in the good category, which is 90%. In learning the first cycle reading skills are in the average category, which is 50%. Furthermore, in cycle II the average student activity is in the very good category, which is 60%. It was concluded that the application of the game's method could improve student character, especially in SDN 006 Rambah. Character values ​​that can be improved in students in the language skills learning process, including the character values ​​of cooperation, discipline, and honesty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of poster writing skills, describe the learning process of poster writing skills in progress, and describe the changes in behavior of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Rambah after getting poster writing learning with a contextual approach using scrapbook media with the theme of language and culture conservation. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The results obtained indicate that the writing skills of eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Rambah increased. The pre-action test results showed an average value of 66.8 and in the first cycle obtained an average value of 70.46. This means an increase of 3.66 points or 5.48%. In cycle II, the class average is 76.43. This shows an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 5.97 points or 8.47%. So the increase that occurred from the pre-action until the second cycle was 9.63 points or 13.95%. Thus, the contextual approach and the use of sticky media on the theme of language and culture conservation can improve the ability to write posters.
