Abstract

Shopping, sanctions and payment transactions at the Az Zubair Islamic Boarding School still use the manual transaction system, using manual notes and cash. Some of the transactions in Islamic boarding schools include monthly payment transactions, mini markets or canteen, payment for services and payment of fines or penalties. Transactions that are carried out manually are very prone to theft and difficult to trace, difficult to recapitulate and can be one of the transmissions of germs, bacteria or viruses that stick to cash. The application of the eSantri as an independent spending and payment application by students at the Az Zubair Islamic Boarding School aims to provide information openly and directly to students regarding the payment of students obligations, train students to be familiar with non-cash transactions even though it is only done in the local boarding school network using a card students in which there is a password and balance. The implementation method used is socialization and training. The application development method uses the prototype method. After the application is made, the team conducts training for students, besides that the team has also made a manual book for using the eSantri application. This activity was carried out from April to August 2020. Based on the results of a survey of 80 responden using a Likert scale on the implementation ot the eSantri application in Islamic boarding schools, they strongly agreed with this activity with a satisfaction percentage value of 81.75%.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat has been carried out with the title Workshop of Making Transistor-Based Simple Water Alarms as a Learning Media for Physics at SMA Muhammadiyah 23 Jakarta. This workshop was attended by 20 participants from grade 10 IPA students of SMA Muhammadiyah 23 Jakarta. The methods used in this service activity are: lecture method, discussion and direct practice but due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the method used has become an online method and periodic guidance through the WA group. The purpose of this workshop activity is so that students are able to understand electrical physics lessons through hands-on practice and students can also create real learning media. The result of this service is that students can increase their knowledge of how to make a project of tools that are applicable to physics. Through this PKM activity, it can open students' insights about higher education, especially in fields they are interested in such as Physics.

Abstract

Background: Scabies adalah infeksi kulit yang disebabkan oleh tungau Sarcoptes scabiei berukuran kecil yang hidup di dalam kulit penderita. Ciri khas dari scabies adalah gatal-gatal hebat, yang biasanya semakin memburak pada malam hari Kondisi penjara yang kurang memadai tentunya menjadi faktor risiko timbulnya berbagai penyakit menular salah satunya adalah skabies. Tujuan dari acara pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi yang tepat kepada penghuni Rutan tentang penyakit scabies serta untuk memberikan edukasi kepada penghuni Rutan tentang Sanitasi lingkungan dan Higiene perseorangan sebagai faktor penghambat terjadinya penularan scabies. Metode: Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan dan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan slide projector serta memberikan pertanyaan untuk menilai tingkat kepahaman audiens. Hasil: Hasil yang didapatkan ketika diberikan pertanyaan, para audiens rata-rata menjawab dengan benar yang menandakan para audiens sudah mengerti akan arti pentingnya tentang Sanitasi lingkungan dan Higiene perseorangan. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang scabies dan higiene dan sanitasi perseorangan.

Abstract

Cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia masih belum optimal karena beberapa faktor. Hal ini perlu mendapatkan perhatian akan pentingnya keberhasilan ASI eksklusif . Tujuan dari kegiatan ini meningkatkan optimalisasi peran kader laktasi berbasis lactation training sebagai penunjang keberhasilan asi. Metode dalam pengabdian ini meliputi pelatihan peran kader laktasi dan mendemontrasikan cara menyusui yang benar dan mendemonstrasikan cara penggunaan metode breast pump untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan ASI pada ibu yang bekerja. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan mitra kader laktasi yang terdiri dari 20 orang. Dari hasil kegiatan ini terdapat 20 kader laktasi yang mayoritas berusia 40 tahun, berpendidikan SMA, dan pernah mendapatkan informasi tentang keberhasilan ASI eksklusif sebelumnya. Berdasarkan uji T Test terdapat pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan setelah dilakukan lactation training yang mampu menunjang keberhasilan ASI eksklusif. Peran kader laktasi ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan upaya keberhasilan ASI eksklusif dan mendukung ibu bekerja tetap memberikan asi eksklusif kepada bayinya.

Abstract

Kebun Keling Sub-district is an area of coast in Bengkulu. It is one of Bengkulu City's mainstay tourist destinations. In this sub-district, there is a community group which has a strong commitment to become productive people. The art community is the Lintas Komunitas Seni which is based on Kebun Keling Sub-district in Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City. This community incorporates to musical, classical motobike, mural, and fine art. Several obstacles are faced the digitalization era of the creative industry, including the level of understanding of digital design technology, organizational management and production. The aim of this series activities is to apply science and technology through Digital Innovative Products and Smart Management. It is the initiation of economic independence for member of this art community group in Kebun Keling sub-district, Teluk Segara District. The method of implementing this activity is divided into 3 (three) main activities, such as: (1) Implementing digital drawing techniques by converting paper images into curves using graphic design softwares, (2) making and assisting in producing handicrafts from digital art conversion to become a ready-to-sell product using afdruk screen printing techniques, (3) accompanying financial management assistance and training with the cost of production method to determine the selling value, profit and loss, and asset management. The activity target is to improve the technology and management capabilities, soft and hard skills, and knowledge of the partner. The result from evaluation of series activitieswe have done by filling out a questionnaire were that the partners' knowledge and skills are increased.

Abstract

The existence of native orchids in the Liwa Botanical Garden is one of the wealth of native flora of Southern Sumatra that needs to be preserved. Based on the identification results, it is known that some individual orchids show symptoms of virus infection. The aim of this research is to find the appropriate, effective, and efficient method of controlling viral diseases. The method used is through the approach of several scientific fields such as biology, plant protection, and computer science. The application of endophytic mycorrhizal bio-agent resistance induction as a biocontrol agent capable of suppressing viral disease replication in plants can be used as a cheap and environmentally friendly method compared to pesticides. In addition, the use of an expert system method for diagnosing plant diseases with a web-based case-base reasoning method. This service is important considering that the botanical gardens do not know the safe and environmentally friendly methods of controlling disease in orchids. This activity is a vehicle for sharing good knowledge between the service team and the manager of the Liwa Botanical Garden. With the development of this method, it is hoped that the detection process of controlling viral diseases in natural orchids will be more accurate and faster.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMP N) 2 Kalimanah is a secondary school located in the Kalimanah area, Purbalingga, Central Java. Based on observations and interviews that have been conducted, there are problems at the school, namely regarding the promotion and dissemination of information outside the school which is still lacking because at this time it is only focused on posters and wall magazines. The solution that can be given at SMP N 2 Kalimanah is to create a school information website that specifically displays information for SMP N 2 Kalimanah. With the website, the school can connect more easily with parties outside the school because the website can be accessed by everyone anywhere and anytime as long as it is connected to an internet connection. The service activities are divided into several stages, namely need assessment, application implementation, presentation and website training to teachers, as well as simulation and testing. The result of this activity is a school information website at SMP N 2 Kalimanah that can display news, photos, and activities in the school environment to the wider community. In addition, based on the tests that have been carried out, 95% of respondents stated that the school information website had succeeded in solving the problems of promotion and news delivery at SMP N 2 Kalimanah.

Abstract

Background: Menulis karya ilmiah merupakan tuntutan guru dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme. Mendeley adalah salah satu aplikasi penulisan daftar pustaka yang diperlukan untuk menunjang keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Guru-Guru di SMA N Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti dalam menggunakan Mendeley Metode: Metode pelatihan dilakukan dengan ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Kegiatan pertama yaitu memperkenalkan aplikasi mendeley, lalu menginstal aplikasi mendeley di laptop masing-masing peserta. Mengumpulkan referensi di aplikasi mendeley untuk dapat digunakan dalam penulisan karya ilmiah dan terakhir menerapkan aplikasi Mendeley dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Hasil: guru-guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi mendeley dengan baik dan benar sehingga dapat menunjang kegiatan menulis karya ilmiah. Dengan keterampilan tersebut guru akan mudah mencari literasi dan memudahkan dalam menulis daftar pustaka secara otomatis. Kesimpulan: guru-guru di SMA N Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti dapat menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley dalam penulisan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

Background: Forum Wasilah 109 merupakan organisasi alumni Rohani Islam SMAN 109 Jakarta yang mempunyai visi untuk memajukan potensi sumber daya manusia Indonesia untuk kesantunan dan keberadaban bangsa. Fakta lain menunjukan data dari UNESCO pada 2012, minat literasi masyarakat Indonesia masih rendah yaitu 0.001%. Sementara, anggota Forum Wasilah 109 banyak yang berminat pada kegiatan literasi seperti menulis puisi, cerita pendek dan novel. Namun, mereka mempunyai keterbatasan akses untuk menerbitkan karyanya di wadah dan penerbit yang tepat. Beberapa diantara mereka juga belum mengetahui adanya buku format digital. Oleh karena itu, tim akademisi Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika membantu mitra ini dengan mengadakan webinar pemberdayaan komunikasi literasi pada buku format digital. 42 peserta mitra telah ikut berpartisipasi pada webinar tersebut. Metode: Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan survey. Hasil: Kuesioner dibagikan pada peserta setelah webinar berlangsung. dan 97.6%. Kesimpulan: peserta merasa puas pada kegiatan ini, serta 100% peserta tertarik untuk mengikuti agenda kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika di masa depan.

Abstract

In obtaining information or feedback from alumni, universities require methods to be used in this regard, one of which is tracer study. Through tracer study, universities will know the educational outcomes of alumni in the form of transition from the world of higher education to the world of work and improvement and quality development of the college education system that they obtained during the lecture. STKIP Andi Matappa is a private university that routinely conducts tracer studies every year. However, many alumni of STKIP Andi Matappa still do not understand and are aware of the importance of tracer study. This is exacerbated by the many alumni of STKIP Andi Matappa who live in remote areas. STKIP Andi Matappa conducted qtafi online questionnaire filling assistance for tracer study with simulation training method at STKIP Andi Matappa alumni in 2019. The purpose of the mentoring activity is increased knowledge and understanding of alumni regarding the filling of QTAFI online questionnaires. The steps of QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaire filling assistance activities for STKIP Andi Matappa alumni are (1) Introduction stage, (2) Explanation of fill data in QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaire, (3) Technical guidance on filling out QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaires. The results of the dedication showed the increasing knowledge and understanding of Graduate of STKIP Andi Matappa regarding the filling of QTAFI online questionnaires for tracer study.
