Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada sub pokok bahasan mikroorganisme ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan suatu model pembelajaran inkuiri berorientasi kecakapan hidup yang layak digunakan, (2) mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa selama proses belajar mengajar menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri (3) melatih siswa agar memiliki keterampilan dalam mengembangkan life skill khususnya dalam membuat produk yang berkaitan dengan mikroorganisme, (4) mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa, dan (5) mengetahui hasil respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri.            Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Dick & Carrey yang dilakukan sampai pada tahap pengembangan dan penyebar luasan. Uji coba dilakukan terbatas pada siswa SMK di kabupaten Ngawi. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi validasi model pembelajaran inkuiri (Silabus, RPP, bahan ajar, LKS, penilaian), observasi, tes evaluasi hasil belajar, angket respon siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif.            Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) model pembelajaran inkuiri tentang mikroorganisme berorientasi kecakapan hidup (life skill) mendapatkan skor 3,56 (kategori baik sekali), sehingga layak digunakan dalam Proses Belajar Mengajar, (2) Aktivitas siswa SMK selama kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri mendapatkan hasil yang baik dengan skor pada semua aspek sebesar (3,39) dengan kategori baik, (3) Proses Belajar Mengajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri berorientasi life skill dapat menjadikan siswa terampil dalam mengolah mikroorganisme acetobacter xylinum menjadi nata de coco, (4) Pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa secara individu sebesar 83,73% dan ketuntasan IPHB tiap individu sebesar 80,01%, (5) model pembelajaran inkuiri berorientasi Life Skill yang telah dikembangkan mendapat respon positif dari siswa, hal ini ditunjukkan bahwa 96,64% siswa merasa senang dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang telah dikembangkan.Kata kunci :     Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Mikroorganisme, Kecakapan hidup (life skill)

Abstract

By years, children need a more complete educational stimulation, thus requiring additional educational services are conducted by environmental agencies and early childhood education at preschool. Stimulation education conducted in home (home base) and is done outside of home (center base) should be aligned and mutually supportive, in order to obtain maximal benefit. Outside education stimulation   begins after baby 3 months or 6 months of aged. Unfortunately the service children of this age have a limited presence. If anything, not necessarily affordable to the community, both in terms of distance and cost. Post existence of early childhood as a form of early childhood kind Unit (SPS) is intended to bridge those needs. In the implementation of Post early childhood education can be integrated with a variety of early childhood services programs that already exist in the community such as: IHC, BKB (BKB), Parks Childcare (TPA), Play Group (PG). SPS program is intended for people who are not ready to engage her in a more intensive early childhood services, whether by reason of inconvenience escort, cost and other factors. Post early childhood education program will be implemented in some areas of Madiun regency that have not been getting early childhood education intensive and help parents to better know how to give good education to children at an early age period. The above options based on the need for early childhood education and have not been reached by the presence of intensive early childhood education in these areas. Abstract

Students perceptions of Statistics related to the their learning outcomes. Perception is the process of consciousness, namely the consciousness of an object which delivers to the understanding, the process or the ability to feel the results of knowledge and so obtained with a feeling and sense or intuition that is abstract. Perception will lead someone on giving meaning to the notion of something. Students perceptions of subjects Statistics describes the level of students knowledge and understanding of the statistics. The purposes of this study are: (1) determine the students perception of on Statistics, (2) determine the influence of students perception on Statistics. This study used the design of Mixed Methods, which consists of two types of research, thefirst one was qualitative research and another one was quantitative. The sample is taken from the students of fourth semester study program Primary Age Students Teachers Training IKIP PGRI Madiun in the Academic Year of 2013/2014 consists of 28 students. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used a qualitative descriptive technique. In addition to these techniques are also used in the form of ahypothesis test Spearman test. Based on the results the following results: (1) Students Perceptions of Statistics Course outlines included into good category; (2) There is no influence of students perceptions in statistics course. Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah cenderung sangat teoritis dan tidak terkait dengan lingkungan anak berada. Akibatnya anak didik tidak mampu menerapkan apa yang dipelajari di sekolah guna memecahkan masalah kehidupan yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan sehari -hari. Masalah  tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pemberian pendidikan yang terintegerasi pada kecakapan hidup (life skill) yang dapat memberikan bekal pada siswa untuk dapat mandiri dalam mengarungi dunia kerja manakala yang bersangkutan terpaksa tidak dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang selanjutnya. Desain penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah jenis penelitian needs assessment. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian needs assessment ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa secara rerata pemahaman guru-guru  sains SMA tentang konsep dan kedudukan pembelajaran berorientasi kecakapan hidup (life skill) melalui pengembangan LKS untuk pembelajaran IPA cukup memahami namun sebarannya tidak merata. Hal ini selain dipengaruhi oleh bidang keahlian yang menjadi tugasnya juga penyikapan terhadap kecakapan hidup (life skill) dalam konteks pembelajaran. Sedangkan pada needs assessment, terdapat  kecenderungan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berorientasi kecakapan hidup (life skill) melalui pengembangan LKS untuk pembelajaran IPA di SMA cukup diperlukan namun tidak signifikan. Hal ini terkait dengan kompetensi menggunakan pembelajaran berorientasi kecakapan hidup (life skill) melalui pengembangan LKS untuk pembelajaran IPA, relevansi dengan bidang studi dan motivasi dalam menggunakan pembelajaran berorientasi kecakapan hidup (life skill) melalui pengembangan LKS untuk pembelajaran IPA di SMA dalam peningkatan kualitas dan kebermaknaan (meaningfull) pembelajaran.

Abstract

Paradigm in education must be shifted from the old paradigm that refers to teoritist science into a novel paradigm that is applied science. To change the paradigm above, the science lesson is certainly necessary for the development and its learning model learning devices in accordance with the new paradigm in education (applied science). It required a learning model that can meet the new paradigm and leads to a discovery or creation of a product, namely the inquiry learning model oriented life skills through the application of Simple Scientific Method Skill (S2MS). This type of research is the development of research using a model of Dick and Carrey performed on the stage of development and dissemination. The trial is limited to vocational students in Ngawi East Java, Indonesia were divided by 2 groups of classes, namely the control class and experimental class. Data collection methods include validation of inquiry learning model (syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessment), observation, test evaluation of learning outcomes, student questionnaire responses. Data was analyzed using descriptive methods. The results showed that the group inquiry learning model oriented life skills through the simple scientific method skill (S2MS) proved effective in improving achievement in learning and creativity of students in learning science at vocational students in Ngawi East Java Indonesia. This is seen in the average value of science in the experimental class group was higher (80.25) than in group control class (70.20). Meanwhile, a group of student creativity aesthetically experimental class is higher (3.80) than the control class group (2.58).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan poster kesehatan reproduksi berbasis pendidikan karakter menggunakan canva pada usia remaja sekolah di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis-deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Produk divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menggunakan lembar validasi, yang selanjutnya diujicoba pada kelompok kecil (6 siswa) dan kelompok besar (30 siswa dan 1 guru) menggunakan instrumen berbentuk angket untuk mendapatkan persepsi siswa dan guru. Keefektifan produk juga diuji menggunakan instrumen tes degan desain One group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) validasi oleh ahli materi (93,3%) dan ahli media (87,5%) berkategori sangat baik, (2) ujicoba pada 6 orang kelompok kecil (81,4%), kelompok besar (87,3%) dan guru (83,3%) diperoleh tanggapan dengan kategori sangat baik, dan (3) hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan kategori sedang (0,65). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa poster kesehatan reproduksi berbasis pendidikan karakter menggunakan canva layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.The Development of Reproductive Health Poster Based on Character Education Using Canva in School Adolescents in High SchoolAbstractThis study aimed to develop a reproductive health poster based on character education using Canva in the school's teenage years in high school. This research is a descriptive analysis research with quantitative methods conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Jambi City. The product was validated by material experts and media experts using validation sheets, which were then tested on small groups (6 students) and large groups (30 students and 1 teacher) using questionnaire-shaped instruments to get students and teacher perceptions. The effectiveness of the product was also tested using a test instrument with the One group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that (1) validation by material experts (93.3%) and media experts (87.5%) were categorized as very good, (2) trials in 6 small groups (81.4%), large groups (87.3%) and teachers (83.3%) obtained responses in the excellent category, and (3) student learning outcomes improved in the moderate category (0.65). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the reproductive health poster based on character education using canva is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi pada mata pelajaran Biologi siswa SMA menggunakan metode Brainstorming. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 10 kota Jambi di bulan Februari 2020 dengan penelitian kualitatif. penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa kelas XI IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil akhir dari validator instrumen adalah 87,5% dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan sudah layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan N-gain dapat diketahui bahwa hasil pre-test yaitu 57,16 dan post-test yaitu 77,50. Rata-rata nilai N-Gain dari hasil pre-test dan post-test yang termasuk kedalam kriteria sedang. Respon sangat baik diberikan siswa terhadap metode brainstorming yang digunakan pada saat menyampaikan materi kesehatan reproduksi. Persentase respon siswa mengenai keterlaksanaan metode brainstorming sebesar 87,25%. Sehingga dapat dikatetahui metode brainstorming cukup efektif dan membantu dalam menyampaikan materi tentang sistem reproduksi terutama pada materi kesehatan reproduksi

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara guru untuk kelas VIII SMPN 17 Kota Jambi ditemukan bahwa materi tersulit adalah sistem peredaran darah dan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas kurang kondusif, sehingga dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat siswa. Penelitan bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik digital berbasis karakter hero Indonesia pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia. Dalam pengembangan media ini dibutuhkan penilaian ahli media dan materi, persepsi guru dan siswa serta pengaruh penggunaan media terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas: 1) daftar wawancara, kuesioner dan lembar observasi untuk analisis kebutuhan, 2) lembar validasi materi dan media untuk kelayakan media, 3) angket persepsi guru dan siswa untuk ujicoba produk, dan 4) soal pretest-posttest untuk mengetahui pengaruh media terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik digital berbasis karakter hero Indonesia yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMPN 17 Kota Jambi. Penilaian validasi materi adalah sebesar 89,06% (sangat baik), penilaian validasi media adalah 81,25% (sangat baik), persepsi guru sebesar 72,92% (baik), persepsi siswa dalam kelompok kecil sebesar 84,72% (sangat baik), dan persepsi siswa dalam kelompok besar sebesar 90,09% (sangat baik). Sedangkan hasil uji t independensi menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,00 < ? 0,01, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Selisih rata-rata hasil pretest-postest yang diperoleh kelas kontrol adalah 34,38 dan kelas eksperimen adalah 53,03. Based on the observation and teacher interview for class VIII SMPN 17 Jambi City, it was found that the most difficult material was the circulatory system and the learning activities in the classroom were not conducive, so that learning media was needed that could attract students' interest. The research aimed to develop digital comic learning media based on Indonesian heroic characters on the material of the human circulatory system. In developing this media, it required the assessment of media and material experts, teacher and student perceptions and the effect of media use on student learning outcomes. This development research used the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The research instruments consisted of: 1) list of interview, questionnaires and observation sheets for needs analysis, 2) material and media validation sheets for media feasibility, 3) teacher and student perceptions questionnaires for product trials, and 4) pretest-posttest questions to determine the effect.of media on learning outcomes. The results showed that the digital comics based on Indonesian heroic characters that were developed could be used as the learning media on the material of the human circulatory system for class VIII students of SMPN 17 Jambi City. The material validation assessment was 89.06% (very good), the media validation assessment was 81.25% (very good), the teacher's perception was 72.92% (good), students' perception in small group was 84.72% (very good), and students' perceptions in large group was 90.09% (very good). While the results of the independence t test showed that the significance value (2-tailed) 0.00 < ? 0.01, there was significant difference between the control and the experimental class. The average difference between the pretest-posttest results obtained by the control class was 34.38 and the experimental class was 53.03.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the effectiveness of the Model Project Based Learning (PjBL)to improving students vocational skills. The sample of this research is 60 vocational students were divided into two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test. The result of this research showed that the PjBL is effective to improve the students' vocational skills. It is proved from the t-test results there is t count > t table (6.929 > 2.002) and p <0.05 (0.00 <0.05).
