Abstract

In the 2023 ABU-Robocon (KRAI) robot contest, robots were instructed to insert rings into the poles of an arena in the form of a stacked floor. To maximize the score, the robot is allowed to climb the level 2 temple floor. Connecting the level 2 temple floor and the base of the arena is a ramp board with an incline angle of 18,420 and an area of 600 x 975 mm2. Another rule is that athletes controlling manual robots are not allowed to enter the arena or must stay outside the arena. This research aims to design a wheeled robot that has the ability to traverse uphill roads in the KRAI robot arena as well. The robot can be controlled remotely so that athletes do not need to enter the arena which has an area of 12x6 m2. The use of 4 omniwheels which are given a total DC voltage of 14.8 V, is able to make the aluminum robot able to traverse uphill roads in the KRAI 2023 robot arena. By using Bluetooth transmission, the robot can be controlled wirelessly across the entire arena.

Abstract

In the 2023 Indonesian SAR robot contest, intelligent robots from each university compete to score by carrying orange mini dolls to designated locations. Robots must overcome various difficult obstacles. The intelligent robot in the competition is a legged robot that has clamps for holding mini dolls. Servo motors are one of the motors that are often used in legged robot joints. This research aims to program the kinematic angles of the joints of a legged robot so that it is able to traverse the 2023 SAR Robot Contest arena and its obstacles stably. By using 4 legs, namely front-right, front-left, rear-right and rear-left and using 3 servo motors on each leg, the robot can walk stably after programming certain kinematic angles on the servo motor. The robot is programmed to have 7 phases of movement between the legs that are aligned with a delay of 500 milliseconds for each phase. The robot can walk stably over all obstacles in the KRSRI 2023 robot arena except for the uphill stairs.

Abstract

This study develops a model for forecasting electricity demand in the Kalimantan Island by considering the plan to build the IKN. Projections based on regression analysis are carried out for the West Kalimantan, Central & South Kalimantan and East & North Kalimantan region, while for the IKN the projection was based on the assumption of electricity consumption per capita. Variables that greatly influence the electricity demand based on the data analysis are GRDP, GRDP per capita, number of customers and electricity tariff. The projection result shows that the electricity demand in the Kalimantan Island with the construction of IKN area will increase from 12,542.20 GWh in 2022 to 147,639.96 GWh in 2060. In terms of the percentage of electricity sold per sector, there has been a significant decrease trend in the Household sector and a significant increase trend in the Industrial and Business sector.

Abstract

Coconut shells and rice husks as alternative raw materials to reduce the use of inorganic energy, from the results of previous research, rice husks have a low calorific value, so to increase the calorific value it is necessary to add other materials that have a better calorific value, other alternatives as The support is coconut shell. The research method was carried out using experimental testing, starting with the burning process to become charcoal, the process of refining the material (mesh), the molding process, and the drying process, the briquette lab test process. In the mixing process, the adhesive material is bran adhesive with a concentration of 1.3. The aim of this test was to analyze the calorific value, water content and amount of ash contained in the briquettes. The research results showed that the calorific value of rice bran husks was 4375.42 Calories/gram, air content 23.43%, dust content 33.79%, and for rice husk coconut shell the calorific value is 5925.96 calories/gram, water content 19.4%, dust content 18.3%

Abstract

Temperature is the main cause of failure of electronics and electric vehicles (EV). This condition causes thermal runway, which is a condition where the amount of heat generated by the battery continues to increase so that it is not controlled. To overcome this condition, an effective cooling system is needed, one of which is a liquid minichannel cold plate. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of double serpentine with water fluid in a liquid cold plate cooling system. This research uses a double serpentine liquid minichannel cold plate with dimensions 104 × 80 × 11 mm with aluminum . Using a channel width of 0.5 mm with a depth of 4 mm, so as to obtain a hydraulic diameter of 0.889 mm. The flow rate variations used are 1 LPM; 1.25; and 1.5 LPM. In addition, this study varies the power from 10 W to 90 W with an increase of 20 W. The results of this study show that the flow rate affects the heat transfer coefficient. The greater the flow rate value, the higher the heat transfer coefficient value produced. The increase in the value of this coefficient affects the decrease in surface temperature. The increase is shown in the condition of 1 LPM value ( ) worth 0,39 kW/m2 K; 1.25 LPM value ( ) worth 0,44 kW/m2 K; while for 1.5 LPM value ( ) worth 0,52 kW/m2 K. In addition, the flow rate also affects the increase in pressure drop. The increase is shown in the condition of 1 LPM pressure drop value of 137,89 kPa; 1.25 LPM of 165,47 kPa, and 1.5 LPM of 199,94 kPa.

Abstract

This study aims to experimentally analyse the performance of a forced wet cooling tower (WTC) using multilevel inclined perforated splash fill. The hot water temperature is set at 60 C; Packing has an inclination angle of 15o, 20o, 25o and a perforation ratio of 2.6%, which consists of five levels of galvanised plate fill. The water flow rate is ± 0.0917 kg/s, and the five variations of air flow rate are 0.02033, 0.02631, 0.02995, 0.03770, and 0.04261 kg/s. The inlet hot water temperature is 60 C. In this study, it can be seen that the ratio of water mass and air mass affects the performance of the cooling tower

Abstract

One of the best tourism destinations in Indonesia is Malang. This city has a variety of uniqueness that can attract tourists to visit it. With the development of technology in this era, many make things easier, one of which is conveying information. This study aims to design a prototype of a web-based tourism information system in Malang City so that later tourists can more easily obtain information about this city. The method used is a descriptive method which will present and analyze facts systematically so that it will be easy to draw conclusions. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. In designing this prototype, Data Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts, Database Designs, and Output Designs will be designed. The results of this information system prototype will include various information about tourism in the city of Malang.

Abstract

PT Unibless Indo Multi is engaged in IT Services, IT Trading, and IT Outsourcing. In this paper focuses on IT Trading, which includes the sale and rental of IT hardware, the provision of office equipment, the provision of shelves and archival support equipment and others. The author finds problems that occur specifically in the inventory of goods in processing inventory data still using simple applications, which causes the company's performance to be less than optimal. The author aims to solve existing problems by designing and building an inventory data management system using visual basic with the waterfall method, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Balsamiq Mockup and using a Microsoft Access database. Based on the test results using blackbox testing, the system runs as expected. After testing, 92.5 out of 7 respondents agreed that the system is easy to understand and use.

Abstract

In this era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, there are still many people who lack understanding about taxes. Due to this situation, early tax education is highly necessary. Because of the limited comprehension among children regarding the significance of the role of taxes, it greatly influences national development. Therefore, the objective of this research is to educate elementary school children through the creation of a snake-and-ladder game accompanied by quizzes about basic tax concepts. The development of this game employs the prototype research method as it helps developers work with users to effectively define system requirements, thereby minimizing system errors from the outset. The results of creating this game indicate that the developed game is able to enhance users' insights into tax knowledge and has been field-tested by 5 elementary school students to assess the success of the created ARTAJAK game.

Abstract

Scheduling is allocating an activity by taking to the sequence of implementation times and availability of limited resources. In the case of employee lunch menus in a company, lunch menu schedule can change every day within a week to adjust the availability of resources limited by company management. Scheduling repeated lunch menus manually will certainly waste a lot of time, an application is needed to do the scheduling automatically. Designing a scheduling application for lunch menus using the Design Thinking approach method applies 5 stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. Result of this design is an application design which is then evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure user satisfaction. Where user satisfaction data was obtained using the form collecting method using JotForm media which was sent to 30 respondents. The SUS score result is 80.2, which means that the usability design is acceptable or feasible.
