Abstract

Digital literacy is the interests, attitudes and abilities of individuals who directly use digital technology and communication tools to access, manage, integrate, analyze and evaluate information, build new knowledge, create and communicate with others in order to participate effectively in society. The implementation of education is held as a process of civilizing and empowering students that lasts a lifetime. This principle is in accordance with the general provisions of the 2003 National Education System Law Article 1 paragraph 1 which states that education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control

Abstract

One social media platform with the most users in Indonesia is YouTube. YouTube is an effective and efficient medium for disseminating information because it has exclusive features compared to other platforms. So, YouTube is the most appropriate medium for communicating data in today's era, including spreading da'wah. Many ustadz use YouTube as a place to convey the teachings of Islam, so the term Ustadz YouTubiyah was born among millennial Muslim teenagers. Teenagers, as YouTube users, are mostly connoisseurs of Islamic content. The fanaticism towards the ustadz who is idolized affects their perspective and critical thinking, even to the point of following the style of the worshiped ustadz. The outlook on religious teachings conveyed by Ustadz YouTubiyah, in the expression of adolescent religious behavior following the character of Ustadz YouTubiyah's preaching, was engaging. Therefore, this research was conducted with a quantitative type which became the research location at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alauddin Makassar to analyze forms of religious expression in students of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alauddin Makassar in 2021 and to find out whether Ustadz YouTubiyah influenced these expressions? From the results of the study, it was found that the religious expression/behavior of the students of the Faculty of Science and Technology varied; in terms of clothing, some were passionate with a closed appearance, and on the contrary, some were modest, and some even appeared free (not following the rules of the faculty/religious law). This diversity of expressions is largely influenced by the habit of watching Islamic content of the ustadz on YouTube. So the conclusion of this study is that Ustadz YouTubiyah has an effect on religious expression among millennial teenagers.

Abstract

Penggerak Masyarakat Orang Asli (PMOA) plays an important role towards the Indigenous community including looking after the welfare and and also contributed to the development of da'wah. Therefore, this article aims to identify the communication da'wah used by preachers and the challenges of preaching towards Indigenous community. This qualitative study uses a case study design. The data were obtained through semi -structured interviews involving a total of Nine Penggerak Masyarakat Orang Asli (PMOA) in the State of Selangor as participants. The data were arranged and coded according to themes and categories resulting from the complete transcript. Data were also analyzed descriptively. The results of the study shows that the method most widely used by Penggerak towards Indigenous community is da'wah bil hal. Among them are visiting the homes of Indigenous community, carrying out activities with Indigenous community and others

Abstract

The implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model that is applied to teaching materials allows the realization of ideas from students regarding changes and efforts to improve continuously and in accordance with the circumstances and conditions of the community environment where the school is located. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes Reading subject English through Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). This research was conducted from June to August at SMAN 1 Indrapuri for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were students of class XI-IPA consists of 23 students. Data collection tools were in the form of test items and student activity instrument sheets. There are two types of data validation required in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data consists of observations of student activities, and secondary data consists of student learning outcomes obtained from learning achievement tests. Data analysis using percentage descriptive statistics method. Performance indicators are used to measure the success of each cycle in this study. The research procedure consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning completeness from 54.1% to 76.8%. Based on the percentage of the number of students who experienced learning mastery in cycle II about 100%, the average value was 76.08.

Abstract

The way that can be done to overcome the pandemic and decrease the rate of people in sufferers of COVID-19 is by administering vaccines. Knowledge about the use of vaccines in religion and the health sector may influence public acceptance of vaccines. This study aims to determine the effect of health and religious education on the use of the covid-19 vaccine. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, with a sample size of 30 respondents, conducted in a School in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The result showed most of the respondents is female (83%), Based on the paired t-test, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, meaning that there was an effect of health and religious education on increasing knowledge about COVID-19 vaccination. The conclusion from this study is that education is needed to increase the knowledge of the Covid-19 vaccine. Attitude and variablel variables may need to be studied for further research

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic some time ago was something that was never expected before, this pandemic has greatly affected the world of education. The education system underwent a change in the process of learning activities, from face-to-face learning to online learning. This study aims to determine how students perceive the effectiveness of online learning conducted at three Islamic Junior High School in Magelang. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis with a sample of 210 respondents, from the Likert scale used the average respondent answered 3.56 points, it can be seen that students' perceptions of online learning some time ago were effective.

Abstract

Contributions are donations that can be in the form of material, thoughts, and actions. Character education is education that fosters a student in developing the goodness that is in him, because basically all humans have the potential for goodness that is in each of us, and with education that potential for goodness can be raised and developed. The book of ta'lim muta'llim is one of the reference books that is widely used in Islamic boarding schools, in this book it discusses the things that must be done by students in achieving blessed knowledge. The formulation of the problem in this study, what are the values of character education contained in the book of ta’lim muta'llim and how is the contribution of the book of ta'lim muta'llim in shaping the character of the students of Al Mawaddah Islamic boarding school Warrahmah Kolaka. The purpose of the research is to find out the values of character education contained in the book of the ta'lim muta'llim and its contribution in shaping the character of the students of the Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka Islamic boarding school. The results of the study show that the character values in the ta'lim muta'llim book, especially in the discussion of the exaltation of knowledge and teachers, in this chapter explain a number of things which are then instilled in every student at the Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka Islamic boarding school as a form of character education. As for some of these things, namely, (1) may not pass in front of the teacher, even if they are forced to pass in front of the teacher, they want to ask permission in our tradition mello tabe, (2) do not occupy the teacher's seat, (3) do not start the speaker when we are called to face him other than with his permission, (4) not to look at his face when dealing with him, (5) not to ask something that can make the teacher bored when he is tired, (6) be disciplined, (7) seek the teacher's approval, and (8) trying not to make the teacher angry.

Abstract

The policies made in the Admission of New Students with the Zoning system are contained in the Education and Culture Basic Law Number 44 of 2019 for schools at the elementary, junior high and high school levels. This policy applies to public schools and not to private schools. The purpose of establishing a zoning system policy in accepting new students is to equalize the quality of education, which so far has relied only on urban areas or is prominent in certain schools. Various problems arose. From the lack of public understanding of the existence of a zoning system to the fact that there are still people who do not know about the new regulations. From the organizers themselves, the problems that arose were drastic changes in the program and learning process, resulting in a decrease in the number and achievements of students as well as other problems. Therefore, this study adopted the research title on the Implementation of the Zoning System in the Implementation of New Student Admissions (PPDB) at SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga, Gowa Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research focus is determined by random technique. By using observation instruments, interviews and documentation which are then analyzed using triangulation. From the research results, the zoning system itself consists of 4 acceptance pathways, including: the zoning pathway, namely the distance where prospective students live within the school zoning radius, which is a maximum of 15 km and students who are in the school zoning must be accepted at least 50%, this achievement path marked in the form of a charter/certificate given to prospective students such as competitions, school exam scores with a maximum quota of 30%, affirmation pathways for prospective students who have low economic conditions marked by being registered as a family hope program and other government programs even though it is only there is a minimum quota of 15% and the mutation path / transfer of parents with a quota of only 5%. Therefore, to assess the feasibility of implementing the PPDB zoning program at SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Gowa, the model used is George Edward III with 4 criteria, namely, communication, resources, disposition, implementing bureaucratic structure. So from the results of the research, SMP Negeri 1 Pallangga Gowa as the implementer has implemented PPDB with a good and maximum zoning system.
