Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi penggunaan konten tiktok dari akun @gilanknugroho dalam membentuk edukasi tugas akhir mahasiswa UINSU Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat, Sains dan Teknologi. Rata-rata ouput kuesioner dengan masing-masing kualifikasi stambuk 2020 memiliki nilai yang lebih dalam menonton edukasi tugas akhir. Hasil dari SEM PLS dengan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas nilai AVE masing-masing indikator >0,50 dan Cronbach’s Alpha >0,70 yang berarti sudah cukup baik

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges faced by the community in developing the Telaga Madirda tourist attraction and to analyze the form of community involvement strategy in developing the Telaga Madirda tourist attraction through the Pentahelix approach. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews with village heads and heads of Bumdes as local residents and the forerunners of this tourism developer, observation and documentation. This research uses Keith Davis' theory of community participation with 3 indicators: individual mental and emotional involvement, motivation to contribute, and individual responsibility. Based on the results of this research, it shows that there are challenges in developing Telaga Madirda natural tourism, namely, the community does not have the motivation to move forward, there is a lack of skilled and professional human resources in Berjo village to develop tourism potential in the area, there are conflicts of interest and competing priorities. The next strategy carried out was the involvement of several parties or actors to develop Madirda Lake tourism. These actors can be Academics, Business, Community, Government, and Media or pentahelix.

Abstract

Community empowerment can be seen from various aspects, both economically, socially, and even from the existence of the community in the decision-making process. Empowerment now cannot only rely on a helping hand from the government alone, the dynamics of society that continue to occur make the government's function in this sector often neglected. Therefore, collaboration from various actors is essential in implementing community empowerment, one of which is collaboration with non-governmental organizations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of multi-sectors, especially NGOs and local governments in empowering communities in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The type of research used in this study is qualitative. Researchers obtained data in three ways, namely through observation, interviews, and documentation. The local government has established collaboration with the Sriwijaya Community Empowerment Organisation (LPM) to carry out community empowerment functions in the Ogan Komering Ulu district. As a result, the government is greatly helped by the programs conducted by LPM Sriwijaya in several villages and sub-districts. In this collaboration, the local government plays a policy maker and provides funding for several programs, while LPM Sriwijaya as a non-governmental organization acts as an implementing actor who assists and provides direct support in the community of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency

Abstract

The Gili Trawangan in West Nusa Tenggara is now also known as Party Island because there is a variety of nightlife that tourists can enjoy. Reggae is a popular music and is often played amidst the hustle and bustle of tourists. This research seeks to understand how reggae music, which is synonymous with culture, religious movements, social activism and resistance, is mobilized to become a resource for producing musical scenes and performances as a form of participation in tourism development. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The main data was obtained through in-depth interviews with 3 reggae musicians, bar managers and tourists. The results of this research found that the beginnings of reggae music on Gili Trawangan were influenced by the figure of Bob Marley, the popularity of the song Welcome to My Paradise and the typical small island atmosphere that supported reggae's connection with its birthplace in the Caribbean islands, Jamaica. Apart from that, this research found that the growth of reggae music is very dependent on the meaning of the music, the creation of space for expression, the characteristics of tourists and adaptive strategies.

Abstract

Stunting is the number 1 nutritional problem in Indonesia which is still a problem and concern on a national scale. Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Prof. Dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono said the government is targeting stunting cases to fall by 14% by 2024. The central and regional governments have made various efforts to deal with stunting, so that several health workers have also carried out their duties in educating the public about stunting, one of which is Dr.dr. Brian Sriprahastuti, MPH who educates about preventing and handling stunting through the Instagram social media account @cegahstunting. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. Observations carried out by researchers were in the form of participant observation. The results of this research are that the Instagram account @cegahstunting is a social media account that actively provides educational content about how to prevent and treat stunting. The presence of the @cegahstunting account can be a reference medium for providing educational information about stunting, and the freedom to use social media Instagram makes the @cegahstunting account an effective educational medium.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the use of social network and campaign strategy for Irwan Mangga as a legislative candidate in the 2019 legislative general election in Sorong Islands. A qualitative approach is used as a research method in this paper with a descriptive type of analysis. Data collection through interviews with people who are considered related to the author's research, and literature reviews in the form of articles that have the same research theme. The research results show that Irwan Mangga's social capital is utilized through three social network relationships. First, work networks through his work as an owner and technician in his own workshop. Second, relationships with local groups through support from fishing groups in the Sorong Islands. And third, the Taklim Council network, Irwan Mangga as a lecturer at several mosques and taklim assembly study groups

Abstract

The economy of indigenous Papuans is still relatively low even though special autonomy funds continue to be given to regional governments every year. The aim of the research is to determine the impact of special autonomy on the economy of indigenous Papuans after implementing the policy in Sorong City, Southwest Papua. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Qualitative methodology presents a research strategy that presents descriptive data in the form of written and verbal messages from the subjects and their observed attitudes. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Special Autonomy policy in Papua still has significant challenges. Communication factors, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure have an important role in the success of policy implementation. There is an urgent need to improve coordination between the central and regional governments, as well as involving all elements of society, especially those below the poverty line, in the policy process. The conclusion of this research is an increase in the implementation of the Special Autonomy policy to ensure the development and welfare of the Papuan people. Strategic steps need to be taken to optimize Papua's natural and human resources, as well as improve economic and social conditions in the area. Thus, this research makes a valuable contribution to understanding and dealing with existing problems more effectively.

Abstract

Business developments in the field of accommodation services are currently increasing. Lodging services are developing rapidly so that they can create competition between tourist attractions in attracting tourists. The rapid changes in the business environment force tourist attractions to continue to develop existing tourist locations and look for new ways to market them. Therefore, researchers conducted research on businesses in the lodging services sector. Gintribu Dolat Rakyat Guest House is the place of choice for researchers to research the marketing strategies used by business owners at this guest house. The marketing communication strategy used by Guest House GINTRIBU Dolat Rakyat uses the Theory of Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning (STP), first developed by Wendell R. Smith. Researchers apply qualitative methods by conducting observations, interviews and descriptive document analysis. This research aims to explore the marketing communication strategies carried out by Gintribu Dolat Rakyat Guest House in marketing and increasing visitors. As well as giving hope to turn the strategy implemented by this guest house into a study in opening up business opportunities in the field of lodging services.

Abstract

Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) are a resource obtained through local residents who participate and play an important role in efforts to manage and develop tourism potential in an area. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the role of tourism awareness groups in the development of Coban Goa Jalmo tourism in Cendono Village, Purwosari District, Pasuruan Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research uses a purposive sampling technique to consider and determine certain informants who have the ability and understand the problem being studied. The results of this research show that in terms of the facilitating role of the Coban Goa Jalmo Pokdarwis, it raises the social enthusiasm of the community, provides support for tourist facilities even though there are several facilities that need improvement and carries out community organizing. In terms of educational role, Pokdarwis Coban Goa Jalmo provides outreach and training to the community even though community participation and enthusiasm is still minimal. Apart from that, Pokdarwis's representational role in establishing cooperative interactions with various parties and in managing social media is still limited. Then in a technical role, Pokdarwis manages finances based on established technical stages and uses laptops and computers for daily administration activities.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata halal saat ini telah menjadi suatu fenomena global yang ramai dikembangkan oleh berbagai negara. Pariwisata halal tidak hanya dikembangkan di negara mayoritas muslim saja, namun industri pariwisata halal juga telah banyak dikembangkan oleh negara minoritas muslim. Adapun salah satu negara minoritas muslim yang saat ini berhasil mengembangkan industri pariwisata halalnya adalah Thailand. Tujuan Thailand dalam mengembangkan industri pariwisata halal bukan hanya sebagai sektor yang dapat memberikan keuntungan ekonomi. Namun industri pariwisata halal juga menjadi instrumen perdamaian yang coba dilakukan oleh pemerintah Thailand dalam meredam konflik di kawasan Thailand Selatan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dan konsep peacebuilding dari Johan Galtung untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pemerintah Thailand mencoba melakukan pendekatan baru dengan memanfaatkan pariwisata halal sebagai strategi peacebuilding Thailand dalam meredam konflik di kawasan tersebut. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah Thailand ikut melibatkan langsung kawasan Thailand Selatan sebagai salah satu aktor penting dalam pengimplementasian dan juga pengembangan industri pariwiasta halal. Thailand Selatan saat ini menjadi pusat industri halal Thailand yang telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap taraf kesejahteraan masyarakat di kawasan. Peningkatan perekonomian dan lapangan pekerjaan serta pemenuhan hak-hak bagi kelompok etnis muslim melayu pun akhirnya secara perlahan telah didapatkan sehingga dapat meredam konflik di kawasan tersebut.
